They were excellent and did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very good at follow ups as well. I have referred them to many people.

I called for a quote. Mr. Graf came over to the house that afternoon and surveyed the projects. He sent me a quote the next day. The job was scheduled for the next week, and the workers arrived on the agreed upon day and spent less than half a day performing all the work and removing all evidence of the tree and branches removed. When JULIE had marked the utility lines, Graf returned to remove the tree stump.

The work was completed while I was out of town and the job was done well.

Phil said a quote would be sent out soon after his visit and it was, but it was sent to the wrong address with inaccuracies on the proposal. They were corrected, however the price was over $2k for the work I was considering doing. I received two other proposals between $1300 and $1450 less than Graf. When I inquired if anything could be done on the price, (I was willing to pay more, but not 3 to 4 times as much as the other quotes I had), the answer was a firm, (and possibly offended), NO. I went with a different company.

had an estimate. they came to trim the trees on the date that was agreed upon. then when the time was right, they sprayed the trees for apple scab. 3 treatments for that. I am next supposed to have a root procedure done on the tree with the disease. Everything so far has gone well and without problem. I am very pleased with the experience.

Phil Graf is knowledgable and easy to work with. His team did a great job at trimming our trees. They did such a good job removing our problem tree, you would never have known it was there. They cut up the dead tree, and stacked (appropriately sized) pieces in our firewood pile. The team did a great job of cleaning up sawdust and branches. They even found the large branches we had put aside (waiting for city branch removal) and disposed of them for us. Great work!

They were good. He explained exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost. He didn't change his bill.

They were a little bit higher priced than some of the other companies that we researched, but they were so thorough that we decided it was worth it. They did an excellent job.

They gave me an estimate and that's what I paid. I called another company on the List who was twice as much. I was happy with this company. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

We called them after a previous contractor failed to finish the job. Phil returned our call promptly and made an appointment. Two men did the job in about 2.5 hours. They were right on time. It was easy describing the job to them and our directions were followed. Very nice experience.

They responded promptly. They did the job quickly. They did a good job and they cleaned up all the mess when they were done. I would highly recommend them.

Came out within 24 hours to give an estimate. Was told that it could take up to 4 weeks for them to come out and do the work. However, they had a cancellation and were able to come out within a week to remove the bushes and tree trunk. Due to prior engagements and not wanting to have to wait 4 or more weeks for the service, it was done when I was not at home during a period of rain. The yard was really torn up, not all stumps were removed, branches were left woven in the fence (upon closer review, this was left off the estimate and then not completed, despite the lengthy discussion during the estimate) and roots were pulled up and left sticking out of the ground. An e-mail was placed questioning the remains and I was told that they took out as much as they could and they do not remove roots of items they remove, even if they end up sticking out of the ground. Their job is not to prepare the soil for whatever work is to be done in it's place. I wish this was explained to me during the estimate instead of coming home to a yard that looked like a battle had taken place.

How many people do you know that would have been that honest? I would absolutely hire him if I needed.

I called Graf Tree Care at 7:30 on Sunday morning and left a message on their voice mail. Phil Graf called me back late that morning and scheduled to be at our house at 7:00 Monday morning. They were a little late (7:30) but got started promptly. Phil examined the situation, and explained to me that storm damage cleanup was "time and materials" since the nature of the removal work might change in the course of the removal as they started to remove limbs and get more work area exposed. He gave me an estimate for both time and cost that he said was unlikely to be exceeded. Phil had expected to leave for another job once the fallen tree had been stabilized by the crew, but ended up staying on site for the entire job due to the risk involved with the many windows on the sunroom. They finished the job in less time and at a lower cost than he had estimated, and even most of the sawdust from the chainsaws was removed.

Their professional, knowledgeable, reasonable priced, courteous, and punctual. They are a good contractor. They clean up all their mess when they are done. I would recommend them and use them again.

Chris responded promptly to my initial inquiry and was out the very next day. In addition to the work I was requesting, he also pointed out some distressed oak trees on the property that we might want to consider treatment for. His price quote for the requested work was received just a couple days later and was considerably less than I had expected to have to pay. He had inadvertently omitted the removal of the broken limb; however, when I reached him on the phone he readily agreed to allowing me to add it in on the original quote with an additional "not to exceed" amount. He also told me they were scheduling work 2-3 weeks out at that point; however, just a week later the crew called me and asked if they could come out later that day. We did not have to be on site (and in fact were gone for the day) but when we returned home, the only sign that there had been any work done was that the four trees (and the broken limb) were gone. They did excellent cleanup of their work site.

It went great. I already recommended them to neighbors. They were really good at communication and following though, and they cleaned up after themselves. The red bud was in the front and the Hawthorne was in the back the maple was in the front. The man was also very knowledgeable in his field of work.

They left the mulch for me to use and left the stumps in the ground and everything was left extremely tidy. They were very professional and you would never know they were here. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

These guys do not pressure you into anything. They are honest about what needs to be done and what could wait a while. They are true Arborists not landscapers. Phil came out and trimmed several trees. They were prompt, professional, and friendly. The $300.00 was for trimming 3 trees plus a few misc. underbrushes. He was wonderful. This is the first time I had a person trim a tree with a hardhat on (very smart). I am very satisfied with the way the trees came out and they cleaned up every leaf and branch. Another team is returning to treat a few trees for an additional cost. Their price was a little higher than other quotes, but I believe their service out-weighed the cost. I would highly recommend them and have already passed out their cards to neighbors who liked their work.

During his first visit, Phil Graf walked my property taking notes of what needed to be done. Within a few days, I received a written proposal with a detailed map of plantings, each of which was identified and numbered for future reference. The proposal exceeded what I originally intended to do so he was willing to scale back to stay withing my budget. Fortunately, I called Phil when I did because the first spraying of the crab trees was time sensitive and needed to be done just as the leaf buds were about to open. A few days of really warm weather caused that to happen within the next week. His crew was out promptly to do the first application in a series of three sprayings. That same day, a second crew was out to take care of the pruning and removals. Everything went smoothly and they did a great job of cleaning up. Phil told me when he came out to estimate the job that he still enjoys working on the trees himself so he frequently is on site when work is being done which was true in my case. All of the employees were very professional and very courteous. It was so nice to have a company promptly return phone calls, submit a bid in a timely manner and follow through with all scheduled work without any follow up on my part! I will definitely use this company again.

Chris came out to meet with me to discuss the tree we wanted removed. He mailed me an estimate within a weeks time. Although their estimate was higher than another company who also gave us an estimate, we went with Graf Tree Care because they returned our phone call promptly and removed our tree within a few days of the call. We were on a time crunch to have the tree removed due to some landscape work we were having done. Phil and his team came out one day to remove the tree and returned a few days later to grind the stump out. Area was all cleaned and they were very professional.

Graf Tree Care did a wonderful job. I am very pleased with the work from start to finish.

Phil was excellent to work with and was punctual and professional. His initial estimate was what we were charged, and he did work in addition to what he quoted us. The work site was left clean and as it was.
