Description of Work: They repaved my existing driveway on the day the job was scheduled. The driveway was actually made better by paving it thicker than the original one. The paving job was performed in less than 4 hours which is excellent because of the length of the driveway (140'). The workers were very careful with the lawn, overhanging trees and garage doors.

Description of Work: I called Damico in August after looking at a few other companies. Damico is the company my neighborhood uses most. They immediately responded to my call, told me it would be a few weeks and that they would call back with an exact date. They called back and came when they said they would. | |Their price was competitive with other companies, and I was able to get a small cash discount. They also took care of the permit, which most companies don't do, nor do I know if they always do themselves. For that I was grateful. They prepped the driveway on Thursday, meaning they removed and hauled away the old asphalt and brought in necessary gravel, then paved it on Friday. They did an awesome job with the lines--cleanly and evenly connecting the asphalt to the concrete garage and sidewalks. | |The only thing I was unaware of until afterwards was that I would have to buy some dirt, fill in around the edges of the driveway and plant grass seed. I don't have a green thumb so I didn't look forward to doing that, but I assume anyone with a driveway like mine would have had to do the same. | |It has only been a month, but so far I am very happy with the work, and I would strongly recommend Damico Paving for a driveway repave.

Description of Work: Seal coated the driveway after thoroughly cleaning. They cleared all the way into the grass where blacktop extended. I could not have asked for better service and results.

Description of Work: Complete removal of my original asphalt driveway, upgraded stone base, compacted the base and added 3" of new asphalt, neatly tamped edges and rolled out the entire new surface. I would recommend Damico Paving to any of my friends and neighbors. Damico Paving is a professional paving company that uses only the best in materials. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with their work results.

Description of Work: Wnt well after they finally called back. They even came a week earlier then initially stated, which was a huge plus for me. Price was very competetive with area sealors. I will use then for the next job I have!

Description of Work: Had 900+ sq.ft. replacement of current driveway quoted. Asked person answering phone in the office to have quoter call for instructions on changes from the current dimensions I wanted. He never called. He came and quoted an exact replacement. I contacted his cell phone twice leaving messages, didn't return my messages. I called the office and then he called me back within an hour. Told him what I wanted done and wanted another quote. He gave me a verbal quote on the phone and didn't seem interested in delivering a hard copy. They were also 30-35% higher than the competition. I went with another contractor.

Description of Work: Very professional and they do a good job. Price may be higher than other companies, but my driveway looks a lot better than my neighbors (both surfaced about the same time) who used another company. |My only small complaint is that they give you a 2 to 3 week window when they will be in your area, then call the night before they will be there. I know their business is weather dependent, but I would prefer a little more advance notice about the day they plan to be there - so I can be there too. Still, I rate them an "A" and would use them again. |

Description of Work: I got a quote for an asphalt driveway repaving late last summer. Took ~2 weeks to get the quote. Based on the reviews here and price, decided to go with Damico. After getting the permit, I got on their schedule for repave which was two weeks out. However, weather turned fairly cold on the planned repaving date and had to reschedule. Weather was even worse on the rescheduled date. It was already mid Oct and we agreed to wait until Spring 2014. | |We had a fairly cooler spring this year (2014) and when I contacted Damico in late March, I was told early May is when they would start paving and schedule me. However, when I did not get a call back, I contacted them in early May. I was told mid May is when they will do my driveway. After I complained about the delay in getting the job done, I was pleasantly surprised and was told they will do it on May 6th if city inspector is available. | |They came early in the morning of May 6th and took down the old driveway and waited for city inspection. I got a call later that day that inspector is not available and they would do it next day. Next day got a call that they are working in a different area and no way they will be able to do my driveway, but they would do it first thing tomorrow. Also, they did not put any "yellow caution tape" around the sidewalk when driveway was ripped and had 3+ inch drop from the sidewalk. Two days after taking down the driveway, Damico came to pave it and finished in 2-3 hrs. They did a good job. | |Damico is recommended for the price and quality of job. I feel they need to improve communication and planning/scheduling.
