Damico Paving & Sealcoating

Damico was fantastic! Many workers for hours to remove driveway, rework the stone base, cut down the curb, and install the new driveway. Totally professional job, no shortcuts! Highly recommend them! I'm sure there are others that will do it cheaper, but they will not spend as much time to ensure that it is as high a quality job as Damico does. They worked for 2 hours just to ensure that he base and the new asphalt were compacted as it should be. No overspilling asphalt, only exactly where it is needed. The price does not include the city permit, which in Geneva IL is $100, but it does include the cost of the curb cutting, which I am told is $300 (contractor cost). Surprised at how much we love the curb cut! No more big bump as you pull in. They did a really good job of cleanup, although there was a lot of dust from the curb cut that I had to wash away afterwards -- but I'm picky.

Brad was exceptional to work with and took great care of us. Their price was very reasonable, they came and got the job done quickly and their work looks great a year later.

Work done was fantastic. Receiving quote was timely. They were higher than other quotes but they were only company to mention trimming around our fence. Took a long time to get on schedule but overall work was excellent.

Last y at DaMico paving installed a new asphalt driveway for us. They did a very good job being careful not to damage the roots of a large tree. This year they sealed it.

After seeing the rating of this company, hoped to get an estimate for sealcoating my driveway since the person we normally use has retired. Called them on Monday to request an estimate, did not hear from them the next day, so called them again on Wednesday, we were told that it takes 48 hours to get the quote, so we waited all week and never get any answer from them. Called them today again, spoke with a representative, let her know that we called twice never get an answer and would like to cancel it, the representative didn't even offer an apology. This kind of the service is bad.

Very well. Driveway is now completely level, matching sidewalks and street ramp. Very clean edges right up to the garage entrance. Very well done.

Excellent! The workers arrived just after 7am and immediately got to work cleaning off my entire driveway (all 1800 sq ft of it!) I have brick pavers bordering a good section of the drive and was concerned about possible splashback of the sealer, enough so that when using previous companies i would mask off the edge with painters tape prior to their arrival just to be safe. Didn't bother doing this with Damico, and after watching how carefully the workers applied the sealer with their brushes i was right in doing so. They were done and gone within 30 minutes and the driveway looks perfect. A++++

I hired Damico last Sept to sealcoat my driveway. The weather was iffy at the time, getting a bit cold and chance of rain. They did the job at a reasonable price. I think the cooler temps and fall / winter weather may have caused some of the coating to wear in spots. Per their guarantee, Phil Damico came out right away in May and inspected the drive. Phil put me at the top of their list to refinish the full driveway. Damico finished the job today, and the driveway looks great. They stood by their guarantee without excuses. No charge. I would recommend this company.

They scheduled my appointment and called me the day before coming. They can't give the exact date when scheduling due to weather conditions, They were very efficient and did a nice job, I will call them again.

We had an estimate in hand within 48hrs. When it was time to make an appointment, we were able to have the work done the very next week. It took one day to take out the driveway, the village inspected in the following morning, then Damico laid the driveway that afternoon. Couldn't have been easier!

They did an excellent job and took their time to make sure they covered every inch of the affected areas. The were meticulous in laying the seal coating ensuring it was not splattered everywhere. This is the second year they have seal coated our driveways and we will probably hire them again next year since we can count on a great job being done.

We have had Damico seal our driveway annually for years. When we needed it replaced, Damico did the work. This year my only concern was that sealer got on the cement apron to the garage. Other than that, everything else was done well. It rained later in the day that our driveway was sealed, and we were concerned about any problem that would cause. The person in charge of Damico's sealing came and checked to make sure everything was still okay.

Brad and his team are GREAT! There's is truly a "well-oiled machine"! They were prompt, professional and cleaned up after themselves. Brad was particularly helpful in that my job needed to be postponed due to an unexpected fire hydrant replacement and sidewalk repair. He kept in close contact with me and responded promptly to each of my emails and texts. Best of all...the price was right! Damico represents great value and I would gladly hire them again!

Went well, They were however the most expensive by far.

Brad was the foreman and was very responsive. He gave us a time line as to when he could fit us in his busy summer schedule and then honored that time line. The entire job took 3 days. His workers were very efficient--I think we had a crew of 5, plus Brad. Brad stayed on site, as did another foreman. Brad supervised everything as well as pitching in to operate the equipment. We will use Damico in future years to seal our new drive, as they hand apply quality material. We had to get all permits but had no trouble getting a return of our bond $$ once the municipality OK'd the work.

They did a good job. They were in the ballpark of everyone else. The quality was a good job. They were here when we said we would be.

Joe came out and quoted the job. His quote was better than the other two I had gotten. Price wasn't the only selling point for me I wanted a quality job done. I was given a choice of having the seal coating sprayed on or brushed on, I felt brushed on would be the best choice. They scheduled to come out on Saturday July 8th and they were there early that morning. They did the seal coating early morning and re-striped the lot later the same day. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

They are awesome. They follow up. Price side was a little on the high side. Quality was fulfilled.
