+ -1 moreFound Damico on Angies List and selected based on the positive reviews. I made a call to schedule and quickly received a call back from the estimator. Damico does send someone out to give you an estimate (you do not need to be home for the estimate). I think this is great as they can give you a price on what you need and not give a general quote and skimp on the product like some others do. A couple days later coordinated the actual sealcoating, Damico was concerned to make sure they did not do the service on a day it rained (me too). We scheduled a date tey would be in my area when it was not going to rain and later that week when I came home from work my driveway was done and roped off on the scheduled date. All in all, my driveway looks great and I am pleased with the actual sealcoating and service received!!!!

+ 1 moreI found them on Angie’s List. The work went on very smoothly. Once I got their attention, they were very professional and did a good job. The job cost me $5,275. Initially, I had some questions about the bid, but they did not get back to me as promptly as I might have wished. However, once they knew that I was serious, they were really responsive. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Damico Paving installed a driveway, installed a decorative brick along the driveway, and extended the bricks around the flower beds for edging, a week ago.

+ -1 moreI called and requested a quote on getting two asphalt driveways sealed in different locations. They e-mailed me a quote about a week later. Their price was better than two other competitors and because of the love shown on Angie's list, I called them to schedule the jobs. They told me they would call me within a week , on the day before the job would be done to ensure all cars etc, were out of the driveway. They called and told me they'd be there the next day between 11:00 and 1:00. They showed up on time, cleaned the driveway and sealed it quickly. I am very pleased with their service.

+ -1 moreTried to contact them via email link on Angie's list which apparently did not work -- and may not be their fault. Then I called their office but hey still did not contact me. After we posted a poor report on Angie's List, they contacted us immediately and were very apologetic -- so I assume they had some internal communications problems. The salesman came out the next day and they did a very good job.
Description of Work: Sealed our driveway. Work was done as promised and very professional.

+ -1 moreThey called us the night before to alert us and then the crew arrived at 7:30 a.m. as scheduled. They cleaned (and used what looked like a huge vacuum) all the debris from the surface, filled the cracks and coated it. It looks great!
Description of Work: We contracted with this company to sealcoat and fill the cracks on our driveway which had never been coated since it was installed approx. 10 years ago. The driveway is fairly large and they gave us the best price estimate.

+ -1 moreThough i had told the salesman that we like to do the driveway in July, he called me in June to tell me that they will do it the next morning to which i objected. He also jacked up the price by $25 more that agreed upon on the phone. What bothered me the most is that he was not listening when i told him to make sure that expensive tree peony planted on foot away from driveway not get damaged.
Description of Work: Removal of old driveway. Installation of new asphalt driveway (addition of more crushed stones underneath from driveway one foot away) & curb cutting half of the $ 60 tree peony was gone though it was. They showed up 3 hours late.

+ -1 moreI had used a different service of theirs. There is only so much you could do with driveway sealants. I think their prices were competitive and they had good ratings. There was nothing good or bad about them. I think they were neat because I didn’t find too much of emulsifiers on the grass and on the building which is a headache. They were busy at the time and they did come. They returned phone calls and they were on time. It was a very busy time of the year and the weather was not too good but they came out on time.
Description of Work: I used Damico Paving to fix the sealant of my driveway about a year ago.

Once I contacted Damico Paving, they made immediate arrangements to sealcoat the lot on the Sunday before the 4th of July so that the lot would have 2 days to dry. When I arrived to work on July 5th, the parking lot was completed and the work had been performed exactly as promised. Best of all - they honored my Angie's List Coupon! We saved 10% on the total cost.
Description of Work: I contacted Damico Paving (and several other Angie's List Businesses) for an estimate to sealcoat and re-stripe the parking lot for the business where I work. Damico's representative arrived at the appointed time to look at the property and to provide an estimate. The estimate was well within the anticipated amount and was comparable to the other estimates that we had already received. Our biggest concern was being able to schedule the work for a Sunday - the only day that our business is not open and that the parking lot would be empty. Damico assured us that they frequently did sealcoating for businesses on Sundays and that it would not be a problem.

When I gave the go ahead to do the work, the vendor was able to get it done quickly to accomodate my schedule. They took care to protect my plants and retaining wall. Cracks do not seem as filled as I would have expected. Overall, good job.

+ -1 moreWe are completely satisfied with the job that Damico Paving did to replace our asphalt driveway. It was done on time and on budget with no surprises. I would reccomend Damico paving to anyone looking for a complete driveway service.
Description of Work: I called several paving contractors that I had used previously asking for a quote on sealing or replacing our asphalt drive. Only one responded and only provided a "drive by" quotation. When called about whether a new driveway might be the better option rather than just sealcoating, the responce was "I don't know but it would be very expensive.... probably about $10,000". I then found Damico Paving through Angie's List and when I called they said Brad would call me which he did that day. He came to our house that day and left a detailed quote on 6/15/11 which was accompanied by a complete package of literature with several options for consideration. I selected the best option for our budget and Brad agreed to do the job within a week. He stopped at our house on 6/23 and said his crew would be on the job the next day and he explained in detail what would be done. The job was started in the afternoon of 6/24 and was completed on 6/25 as promised. The driveway looks great and we are very pleased. I would reccomend Damico Paving to anyone looking for a professionally done driveway job. As a matter of fact, two neighbors have asked for their phone number.

+ 0 moreBrad, Vince and the crew are artists and efficient ones at that. Brad and his team took out 12 y.o. asphalt, added additional base, pounded down solidly and an hour later second crew came with new asphalt. Pounded in 3" of new asphalt. Smooth and solid. Vince's team would have come the next day to complete the stamping and coloring, but rain set them back a day. Following day, Vince called hour ahead of time saying they were on their way. Amazing to watch, I didn't know asphalt could be stamped, but when they were through with coloring and all, I had no less than 4 neighbors come by to ask how it was done. They didn't believe that it was not brick pavers. I would highly recommend Damico paving and the guys.
Description of Work: Rip out old sunken asphalt driveway and replace with new asphalt with stamp and color to look like brick pavers.

Description of Work: They removed the old asphalt driveway and they put in a stamped asphalt driveway. It is a huge driveway! I did have to call them a few times before getting a call back from them, but once I did they were fantastic. There was a small problem with the paint and they offered to have me not pay in full until it was fixed. I went ahead and paid and Vince was true to his word and they came out and fixed it.

Once we got the ball rolling however, Brad was patient enough to explain to me the difference on what comes with the service and why the pricing is significantly above than the contractors driving around with flyers.
