From July consult to finished product (and ongoing help)......fantastic in every way.....great ideas,creativity, knowledge of plantings, needs assessment spot on, continuing education provided, extremely helpful and responsive, Harvey REALLY knows his stuff, and cares about his customers!.....saw some small but thoughtful additional needs to be attended to and just did it, no extra cost....Harvey personally oversaw the entire operation, and seems to have a great partnership and working relationship with those he employs. We had a great experience with Apple Blossom. Harvey listened to our needs and designed something to meet them. We received another quote from a different contractor that was much higher. Very strong customer service focus. If we have landscaping projects in the future we will be using Apple Blossom

Harvey Willey, president of Apple Blossom, met with us to discuss what we wanted and liked for our patio. He developed a plan that we loved. The first thing to happen was the installation of the seat wall. It was constructed with Unilock blocks. The guys that worked very hard to make sure our walls were straight and level. We chose to have the wall topped with stone. It looks great. The lighting installed is l.e.d. mounted under the top caps of the wall. It provides a beautiful accent at night. Apple Blossom worked with K&M Concrete. We were fortunate to have two wonderful companies working on our patio. The end result is something we will always be proud of.

Easy to work with and job done when and how quoted. Clean up of door and area affected by process could have been better. I am sure they would have returned if we had requested.

Another job well done! I love my newly renovated garden! Harvey came to my home and discussed in detail what I needed done and provided guidance on the best way to accomplish it. He worked within my budget and his wife picked out beautiful new plants to complement the plants that we kept from the old garden. I am excited to see how the new swale works the next time it rains. Jacob and his crew arrived on time and were friendly and professional even when they had to deal with a crazy squirrel and the bees in the crab apple tree! Thanks again.

They were very expensive so I had to go with another local landscaper. They were knowledgeable about the landscaping. They were very quick to respond. They were $600 or $700 higher than the people I used for the job.

Harvey is great to work with. He met with me at my home to discuss what I needed and provided suggested trees that would work in my yard. He has provided ongoing support in caring for my new tree which is beautiful and already providing some shade! I would definitely recommend Apple Blossom. I have already contracted them to do a Garden Renovation in my back yard this year!

I think the quote was fair-priced but I didn't think his ideas were very imaginative.

Harvey came to our home to get a detailed idea of what we hoped to have accomplished. He promptly sent us an estimate and later on, as we made changes, promptly sent us a revised quote. Communication was excellent and the crew arrived as planned. We have owned several homes over the last 35+ years and no one has ever performed work for us as of any kind as professionally and efficiently as Apple Blossom. I wish I had known of them many years ago. I am sure they are quite successful, and deservedly so. If you are contemplating landscaping work of any kind you would be doing yourself a favor by including Apple Blossom in your bidding process.

Although they indicate they service DuPage county, when they returned my call and I told them where I lived - Darien, IL (which is in DuPage County) - they said they didn't service Darien. If in fact they do not service Darien, I would suggest removing DuPage county from areas that they service.

Harvey and team are fantastic! Top marks for responsiveness, expertise, professionalism and relationship building. Harvey listens. He returned my inquiry call within one hour and indicated he was in client meetings but would call later and he did. The in-person appointments were flawless. Harvey cares about his clients and the work he does. He is a good teacher and goes above and beyond in his help. I highly recommend Apple Blossom Landscaping and I will use them for pruning and other services in the future.

The consultation went very well. He offered quality advice and tips and provided a detailed quote within a week of the consult. The reason the service was not used was not due to the quality or professionalism of the landscaper. We did not use the service because our landscaping is minimal and we enjoy DIY projects. We paid for the quote and consult mainly for advice and ideas.

They did very good work. My patio is beautiful. My bushes had been cleaned up. They did all things for us and I have been using their services for five years now. They are very creative when it comes to landscaping and are willing to work around our schedule.

He came out to look at our yard and we explained what we wanted done since we just had a pool installed. Unfortunately, he never contacted us with an estimate.

Working with Harvey on this project was great! We had called several other landscapers but did not get the attention or detail that Harvey gave us in planning how to landscape the front of our house. It was a little more expensive than the other quotes but the quality of the work was instrumental in going with Apple Blossom. His crew was very polite and worked very hard to get the job done according to what we wanted. They were very courteous and even cleaned off my car when I had to leave because it was full of dust from the work they were doing.

Harvey and his crew were great to work with, we got worked over by another landscape contractor and Harvey and his crew came to the rescue. they did a great job, would recommend Apple Blossom at anybody who is looking for a landscape contractor, Thanks Harvey

Harvey did come out, his estimate was higher then the competitors but he is very knowlegable person about this project. Other then cost he has very good design idea about landscaping.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The guy showed up and told me the job was too small and he won't accept it, talked to me for about 7 minutes and then he left. He told me he was too busy. He never called me back. I was disappointed, I was ignored. No job is too small or too big. He is an ignorant. If he chooses to see everybody as a dollar sign, God bless the person. He works with very wealthy customers but if they work with a very wealthy account, why would they still use Angie's List. If they must be very busy, why use Angie's List? They have to follow up no mater how busy they are and no matter how small the job is; otherwise, they have to remove themselves from Angie's List.

Very nice and professional. Reviewed my backyard and provided a recommended landscape plan.

Everything went well and we are pleased with the result.

I was disappointed with this Deal. The man and I walked around the backyard, which already had several flower beds, and I explained what I wanted done. When I got the plan back, I got a plan for one corner of the backyard and he quoted me $6,000 for the minor work in that corner. I've had several professionals come and work in my yard and never for that price. When I tried to ask for a quote on a slightly different job, I never heard back from him.
