I was very happy with Apple Blossom Landscape Concepts. Harvey was very quick to respond to my call and set up an appointment to look at the yard. He did preliminary drawings and we changed a little bit of the design. Harvey answered my questions about the plant choices and I was happy with the plant choices. He also talked about the lighting design for the front of the house. When it came to installation, the workers were careful and did a nice job on planting. I was concerned about the closeness of some of the plantings and Harvey adjusted them to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Harvey and Apple Blossom Landscape Concepts.

After the heavy rains we had this spring, we were getting water in our basement because our neighbor's property is higher than ours. Harvey and his crew were wonderful and easy to work with. He came up with a plan to regrade the side of our house, add a berm, install a French drain and create a dry creek bed to resolve a long term drainage issue. After another heavy rain we found that the berm wasn't long enough to resolve the problem, so they came back out and extended the berm at no extra charge. We haven't had any water in our basement since they completed the work! We are very happy!

What an absolutely wonderful experience! Harvey and his entire team were just terrific. From the design expertise, to the execution of the work and the horticultural education (plant care and pruning) that Harvey and his team provide, you will be absolutely amazed.....right down to the final detail! We couldn't be happier!! Thank you, again.

The local service which we've hired is doing an excellent job. The service noted above we've never heard of or from so the rating selected above is meaningless except as it applies to Angie's List.

This is the second time we have dealt with Apple Blossom, and both experiences were great. Harvey came out right away to see what we wanted, and came back with a picture of his landscaping changes. His crew came out shortly after that to install. They did a great job. It was wet, and they still were able to clean up mud, etc from the yard, drive, sidewalk and street. They did a great job!

I cannot praise this company enough. The owner, Harvey, is an honest professional and a true gentleman. He met with me to ensure that I was happy with the design, giving me several options from which to choose. The work done by his crew was exemplary. They worked hard and did an excellent job. Harvey set up a post planting meeting to discuss care and to answer questions. I am so impressed with them, I plan on using them to do landscaping on the rest of my property in the spring.

Our experience with Harvey the owner, and his skilled team of landscapers was outstanding. Harvey was was engaged and responsive throughout the project. He led the design process with us which started in late winter and he continued to have a presence throughout the week long installation of landscape, hardscape repair and lighting in the summer. We found all employees to be knowledgeable, hard working, English speaking, courteous, and helpful to ensure our complete satisfaction. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail and the professional care each worker took when working in our yard. We have not seen this level of dedication ever before from a landscaping company. You get what you pay for! We received outstanding customer service, healthy plants and knowledgeable landscapers. When Harvey was not on site, his son or other supervisor was always there to oversee the project and address any issues. We are so thankful that we found Apple Blossom via Angie's List. We would strongly recommend Apple Blossom.

They did a beautiful job. This is one of several jobs they have done for me over the past few years, and the work is always excellent. The bricks are installed in herringbone pattern. The result is gorgeous. I highly recommend them.

Apple Blossom is an outstanding company to work with. I recommend them and I comeback to them again and again. This is the third landscaping project I have had done by them. This project involved extending the plantings in my garden areas, installing a trellis, and building a small brick well-wall to protect my gas meter. Everything was perfect.

I initially contacted Apple Blossom (Harvey) back in the fall of 2017 for a quote on having the exterior of my home professionally landscaped. A quote was provided, but the timing was not right for the work to be done on my end. In March of '18 I reached back out to Harvey, along with other landscapers, and received another quote because the scope of the job had changed. I needed to have 3 sides of my home completely re-landscaped. Which included mulch, removal of weeds/old plants, and patches of sod. I met with Harvey again, and my impression had not changed from the fall. He was knowledgeable, professional, and provided me with full confidence in his company. His quote was the highest of my bids, but as I have learned "you get what you pay for". I decided to contract his services and provided the initial down payment (500). At the beginning of April, a final plan was signed off on, and I then provided another payment (1/3) to secure the contract, and was given an estimated start date of "the last week in May". Time went by, and since that previous meeting I did not receive any other follow-up prior to that last week in May. I reached out via email, mid May, and was advised that due to weather that the timeline was not concrete. A couple weeks went by without contact, and in the first week of June I reached out again, via text, and was responded to that night with that it would be another 2 weeks or so. Again........a couple weeks went by, and my wife contacted Harvey, via telephone, and again was told that weather had delayed operations. The new timeline was the first week of July, but due to our vacation that it would need to be pushed back because we needed to be home during the work. Work finally began July 6, and was completed July 10. Note: My complaint is not that they could not keep the timeline. The heavy amounts of rain we received this year had many landscapers delayed, and I understand that. My issue was the lack of communication, and that I had to continually reach out to them multiple times for a timeframe. The running joke in the house was "Have you heard from Apple Blossom?". The workers were all friendly, hard working, and easy to speak with. The quality of the work is excellent, and the finished product is beautiful. However there were some "house keeping" issues that I had with the crew. I was notified by my neighbor that while they were on lunch she could hear them talking and all she heard were a bunch of "F" bombs. I am not one to shy away from crude language, however when working in a residential area, attention should be given to impressions that you leave. The thing that bothered me was that after the first day I found chewed up chicken bones, and a bottle cap on my lawn. I let the crew know before they took off for the day, and received "ummm, do you want me to clean it up...I had a burrito". I politely replied "Yes" after which he did. I communicated my issues to Harvey with the above concerns I had with the company's responsiveness and crew's professionalism. I believe he took them to heart, and reassured me this he is dedicated to always making improvements. I am still in communication with Harvey for the care of the new plants. He has been responsive to questions, and punctual with appointments. I would consider Apple Blossom again for my landscaping needs. Their quality of work is top notch, and the other posted reviews speak to that. It appears that my experience is an "out-lier" but it does give me hesitation towards another contracted job.

Apple Blossom was a pleasure to work with. Very courteous, prompt and reliable. They provided complete details of the design incorporating requested changes and going over it as much as necessary. At the end of the job they provided instructions on how to care for all the plants and patiently answered all my questions.

My yews were dying because of too much water and I needed help to get the exterior drainage issue corrected. Harvey was prompt in setting up a meeting to review the problem and offer a written proposal. When it came time to schedule the work, Harvey came out again with his son, Jake. They went over the project, marked the drainage pipe layout, took care of calling JULIE and getting any permits. The work crew showed up early led by Jake who reviewed the plan with the crew chief, Dave. Jake stuck around for the morning making sure things were moving along well. The guys were great. They were a friendly, hard working crew each taking pride in his work. Day Two, the fellows arrived ready to go and Jake came along later to work alongside the crew and made sure everything was wrapped up. I can't say enough about how concerned Harvey, Jake, Dave and the guys were that I was satisfied and had all my questions answered. Harvey and his crew made this project a walk in the park. No drama. Great communication. Amazing clean up. Apple Blossom is in my Rolodex for any of my future needs and to refer to others. Thanks Harv, Jake, Dave and the boys .... you are all A#1 first-class all the way!

Excellent all around. Quick reply to my request for estimate. Listened to our needs and developed a plan with us on burying all sump and downspout output and running the lines to ditch. Price was fair for large scope of job, materials and labor were top-notch. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

The job we were looking to have done would be better done by another company. I had left a message on a Sat. and was called back within just a few hours. VERY professional and thoughtful. He gave me the name of a place to call that would do the job we need to have done. I was very impressed and will call them again if I need further and different work done.

The work was outstanding and the result is gorgeous. I am really pleased. The craftsmanship is excellent--I have had other contractors that were at my house for different reasons, comment on this. The company was easy to work with, and were willing to be flexible in meeting times, which was important to me.

Harvey and team were amazing from start to finish. We met with several other landscaping companies, but Harvey blew us away with his attention to detail and his ability to address all of our concerns. He re-designed our yard with our needs in mind and was also very consultative about which plants to use in our yard. Throughout the process, he was so responsive via text, email and phone. The team is also very professional and answered all of my questions and always checked in with me at the end of the day. Harvey also went above and beyond to make sure that he addressed our drainage concerns and took extra preventative measures by adding a french drain as well. We also received instructions on how to maintain our landscaping and someone from the team has already checked in almost 2 months after the job was completed to ensure the sod and plants were taking root. We love our yard now thanks to Apple Blossom.

Harvey and team are great! Proposal process was great. Harvey takes the time to design, explain and presents choices that he's confident will work and look great. Harvey also presented ideas for lighting and gave us the option to install the lighting ourselves. Pricing was more than fair for design and installation. Installation team was professional and courteous and meticulous about cleanup during and at the end of the job. Harvey took us through pruning and maintenance options after installation. We've received multiple complements from neighbors walking by the house. We're very happy with the completed job and equally happy with the process. Would recommend and use Harvey and the Apple Blossom team again without hesitation.

They were really outstanding. I had two quotes, and this guy price was better. His design was better. He listened to what I was saying. He was pleasant to work with. His son was also the foreman.

Harvey from Apple Blossom was great to work with on this project. He followed up after the landscaping was done and was always prompt to return my calls.

We're so frustrated that we never heard back from the owner; we weren't even planning to get a competitive bid, and now we have to scramble to find other companies who, no doubt, have spring projects already lined up, and get them to come out, meet with us about our major project, and wait for their plans and bids to come in. Had we known this company wasn't going to respond, we would have started the process of finding a new landscape designer six months ago.
