He was able to fix the rusted tray so that I didn't have to order a new one which saved me money

I chose Allmake because of the reviews on Angie's List. They were able to send someone out within two days, but I had to push it back because of my schedule. They were able to schedule me first thing on the day I needed. The appointment was for someone to show between 9am and 1pm. The tech, Dave, showed up at 9:05am promptly. Dave was a very pleasant guy, came right in and immediately got to work. He listened to what my issues were and thoroughly worked to identify the problem and find a solution. Because of the rare dual drawer dishwasher we have, he admitted that he had not worked on many, but had spent the time looking into the type prior to the appointment so that he was fully prepared. Even though that was the case, he figured out how to take it apart and knew all of the different components. Clearly knows his stuff and was very good about explaining what he was doing and how it all worked. He spent almost 2 1/2 hrs working on the dishwasher and cleaning all of the components. He identified the problem, and fixed it without needing to purchase any parts. He took the time to call in and price the part should it be needed in the future. He could have easily told me that I needed this part and done the work to make more money off me, but didn't. Very upstanding. For all of that, I was only charged for the service call, $79.00. Very pleased, and will call them and no one else for my future appliance repair needs.

Able to schedule an early am appointment (6:30AM) to meet our schedule. Arrived on time and completed repair promptly. Highly recommend and will use again.

The technician arrived on time, went straight to work, found the problem and resolved it. He also performed an over physical check and test of the dishwasher. Very professional.

He used to be over here all the time, but I remodeled and got all new stuff and didn't see him for a long time. He couldn't believe it was just the bulbs and that's one reason I didn't try to change them myself. He took the usual care with it and when he put it back together it worked better than it did before. I had some annoying little things with this stove and when he put it back together both of the lights worked plus a couple of other things that haven't been working. His pricing is fair, but it's not cheap. When things were really tough for me financially he would give me a break by not necessarily charging less but giving me more time if I had a major repair. My dryer was 30 years old and my washer was over 20 years old when I bought a new one, but it's because he would repair it. One time I was in a real time bind and so was he, so he called and ordered the part and I went to get it. He came that night and installed it. He's a character, but he's phenomenal.

He was a little late but that was understandable due to the weather conditions . he got right to work found a few minor problems then found a plug off . I am happy with the results.

They were prompt and on time. They also were informative and professional. Everything turned out fine.

Neil did a great job of fixing our leaking refrigerator. Within seconds of walking in he knew what the problem was and went about to fix it. He showed me what he was doing so that I could maybe do it next time. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. He is ordering us replacement parts for our rusted out ice dispensor as well..

I CANNOT say enough good things about Allmake. Let me say first that this is the 3rd time I've had the oven looked at in about a year and a half and it's not been completely fixed so I had my doubts. The previous 2 attempts were by the "for my home" folks so I decided to look elsewhere. The ridiculously good reviews on Angie's List is the reason I called Allmake. The service tech arrived during the scheduled time window. And while he wasn't wearing a nice matching company-sanctioned uniform, I couldn't have cared less as long as he got my oven working again. He was very personable and pleasant and went right to work. Upon describing the "patient's" symptoms (in fact, only got half-way through the description) he was nodding and knew exactly what the problems were and how to resolve then. 2 things were at work. First, the igniter warped over time to slightly bend the spark away from the gas source. Plus the igniter was the original model with fewer holes for the gas than the newer igniter now has. Second and, the tech said, more importantly, over time the solder points on the electronic control board crack and lose contact, so when the oven gets to the set operating temperature, the CPU thinks it's hotter than it is and stops heating. Short story long, in about a half-hour he had it working as good as new and we couldn't be happier.

The repairman was very punctual and polite. He immediately went to work on the refrigerator. As he did not have the part with him that was needed, he located it and left to pick it up at the company warehouse, I was not charged for the extra time it took. I like that he explained what he was doing and that he gave us tips on preventing things from happening again. I would definitely recommend this company to others and will call them again if needed.

Neil did a great job addressing both issues. Once again, we were pleased with the service and results from Allmake. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs appliance repair.

I have probably used them for 13 years. I can explain what is wrong and they know what to do right away. They know exactly what they are doing and don’t have to figure it out. They know what it is right away. The price is cheaper than other people.

Late last night our refrigerator started making a continuous clicking sound and would not turn on. We finally had to unplug it and left it closed to keep the cold in. I called Allmake this morning in a panic as I didn't want to lose all the food in there. They were able to get a repair man (Nathan) out by lunchtime. Based on just my statement of the "clicking" problem and the brand he showed up with the correct part and had it fixed in a matter of minutes. This is the second time we have used Allmake and had Nathan both times. He's a blast to have a conversation with and is very upfront with me about the repair and even offers suggestions of what to look for down the road when replacing various appliances. He is a definite asset to Allmake.

Our oven went out on Thanksgiving day. We called Allmake the next day and they came out withing a few days of our call. We were having a big Christmas Day party and needed our oven. Within 10 days Dave came back out and had our oven repaired. He even tested every connection on all circuit boards and made sure our oven was regulated perfectly. That means 300 degrees equals 300 degrees. Our oven has never worked better and it is 21 years old. $300 spent was better than buying a new oven for $2,000.00. Dave was very professional and courteous. We would most definitely use Dave and Allmake again.

My Refreg. was not cooling. Called them Saturday morning (never expecting service that day) and by 1:pm Saturday afternoon Allmake was at my door. Neil Ott was there service rep. He diagnosed the problem as a Evap. motor and told me that he should have it in stock. I ask him the price. THIS IS IMPORTANT he had me look up the price on-line to see what exactly what the cost of the part was. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I PAID. With tx, service call and labor the bill was only $211.95. There was no part mark up. I had this problem with Blue Frost A.C Repair who charged me $200.00 for a $20.00 part for my A.C. Neil was GREAT to work with and I will use them in the future. Great Job Neil Ott and Allmake.

Called Tuesday afternoon and Neal came out next day. Very professional and knowledgeable. Identified the freezer cold control was bad and ordered the part which would be available Friday. We rescheduled for Friday between 11am and 3pm. The charge for the part was $73 and labor was $137 (this covered about 2 hours of labor and Neal having to pick up the part in South Elgin). I thought this was very reasonable. I have used Allmake in the past. Neal's nephew, Dave, provided the service which was also excellent. I would not use anyone else to repair my appliances. They are great!

Neil was confident and professional and really seemed to know his stuff. I was pleased.

They are absolutely phenomenal. They go above and beyond and do the work.

Company sent someone on the day I called. Repair person was very knowledgeable and friendly. Helped diagnose a difficult problem. Spent the time necessary to figure it out. Very pleased with company.

It was great service. I asked him a lot of a questions about the dryer and he was very willing to answer every one. I know a lot about dryers now. Mason was his name and he was wonderful.

I think I found them in Angie's List. The dishwasher broke and we had a small mini flood. There was a small piece that was broken. We called them and they fixed it right away. I also had an issue with the water connection through our fridge and they fixed that as well. They were very kind and their cost was great and everything they did was great. I was really impressed with them. I have their sticker on my fridge and on my washing machine so if anything goes wrong, I know who to call.

They seemed pretty honest in what they told me. It was a good service.
