Very honest, actually talked me out of repairing it because it would have cost $800 and I can get a new one for not much more. Also gave me advice on which brand to buy so I don't have a repeat situation.

First, I want to apologize that this review is almost 2 years late, but I must still sing Mike's praises. Allmake was referred to me by a friend; Mike himself was also part of the recommendation. I initially didn't use Angie's List to find them. 
My refrigerator died during a holiday weekend, two days before I was to have a luncheon meeting of a local music club. I was expecting 20 - 40 people at my home.  The frig would run but it wouldn't maintain a proper temperature.

Mike came very late, around 9PM, but I knew he was coming and that was OK with me. He protected my wood floor and struggled with a poorly designed appliance and found the problem. He couldn't initially fix the problem because he didn't have the correct part.  He did have a similar part but warned against using it because of a potential fire hazard. Mike put everything back and then returned to repeat the whole process, when the part came in.  The refrigerator has worked fine ever since.

I do not remember how much the repair costs were, but even at the time I felt that it was very reasonable, considering my "emergency" status.

My frig was not able to be fixed in time for the luncheon, but I was able to work around that with a last minute rental. 

Again, I was very happy with Mike, because he was at my home whenever he needed to be, and that was usually not even close to regular business hours.

This is the second time we've used them for repairs. This time they fixed a KitchenAid icemaker that was no longer producing ice. Technician spent a long time thoroughly diagnosing the problem and ensuring he knew what was wrong. Great follow-up from the company ensuring the problem was resolved properly. A fair price for the amount of time spent and parts needed. Will definitely use them again.

First of all we were originally scheduled for this coming Monday .We got a call on Saturday and said they will be in the area. Is it possible to repair it today?  Neil Ott arrived shortly thereafter and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. The drum rollers needed replacing as they were wearing down. He also examined the rest of the dryer and found nothing wrong. He did say if the squeaking ever occurs again to contact a technician immediately because with continued  use may do a lot of damage to the dryer.
My wife told him that we are moving next year and will probably leave or get rid of the washer-dryer. He said to take them with us as this model (1995) was the last year Maytag actually manufactured these machines. Has another 20-30 years of use.
Neil was one of the nicest repairman we have met and will have no qualms about recommending his company.

Came out and told use that it would cost more to fix the washing machine then it would be to buy a new one. He was very knowledgeable. He didn't want to do the work if there was a better option.

Dave was GREAT! He was punctual and explained to me exactly what was wrong. He assured me this was an easily fixed repair and it was a normal piece to have problems with. He is so informative and has so much experience, he explained to me how many of these panels he replaces.  He charged me a service charge for the diagnosis, but agreed to not charge me another service call charge for the repair - just time and materials.  I appreciated his honesty. Unfortunately he didn't have the piece available immediately, but he ordered the piece and was able to give me a time frame for his return appointment. He showed up at the earlier part of his window for the repair, was friendly, trustworthy, and smart! He made the repair in a short time and ran a test of the dishwasher...all works!  He also gave me information and clues to look for in case other issues arise, given the age of the dishwasher. I appreciated that. I would definitely hire them again and again and again!

Have known Neil for over 20 years.  Is professional and knows what he is fixing.  Can't say enough good things about Neil.  Work is always A+.

Nathan came from Allmake - very knowledgable - found 2 parts which were worn and replaced them.  A day went by and it still wasn't drying as expected.  Called them back - Nathan came right back and took the hose off - -clogged with lint.  Went into our attic to check that part of the dryer hose and discovered Confident Aire had installed a screen at the top of our roof which was completely blocked by soggy lint - completely closed off.  Nathan removed the screen (as we still have the flap which worked).  Dryer is practically singing now - it is so happy and our clothes are drying again beautifully. 
Nathan was extremely knowledgable - his style is a bit candid but  he knows his stuff.  We would absolutely call AllMake again.  I will not use Confident Aire again.

Great. They came over about 30 minutes into their 4 hour window. Love when a company actually delivers on their time estimate. Had been unable to do self cleaning on the oven (got some type of F2 error) and the oven fan always takes like 2-3 hours to shut off after using it so I knew there was a problem. He had to pull the entire double oven out of the wall unit but cleaned the fan in < 10 minutes. Amazing. He also advised to NOT use the self cleaning option as the oven is so old that they don't make the replacement part for it anymore. Much appreciated. I can easily clean the oven myself. He even offered a tip on how to do this (place a pan with some vinegar in the oven and bake at low temperature. When it steams over it will make the oven easy to wipe down). I found more details on the internet but much better than using all the chemicals of oven cleaning sprays. Thanks!!!!!!
