They did an awesome job on our bathroom floor. They worked fast and are very nice. We will definitely hire them for future projects.

We gutted our master bathroom and removed a wall. Installed all new wall and floor tile as well as cabinetry and fixtures. Jose and Cesar are SUPER friendly and always want to help. They are attentive to all concerns and willing to make sure you are satisfied. This is a true family operation and they have a real great family. We will be remodeling another bathroom in 2019 and will definitely use them again.

Top Bros removed carpeting and installed hardwood throughout our second floor. We could not have been happier with the process from start to finish. They walked us through the job and helped us make decisions regarding materials, etc by sharing their knowledge and expertise. Cesar was always responsive and kept us well informed throughout the project. The project was completed quickly and turned out absolutely perfect.

Flooring installed well. Some minor quarter round cuts could have been done better. The threshold between rooms could also have been securely attached the first time, but overall happy with the install, price, and time it took! Thank you!

I contacted them and spoke with Jose in the beginning. Cesar came out one time and gave me a verbal quote. He was to email me the estimate which I never got. There was no rush on the job. I contacted a few more times and no response. After seeing his review that I did, he did contact me. After the review Cesar also set up a date and time to stop at the house. No call and no show. He came out again. He stated his verbal quote was given when he was tired. It is different now. I showed him the floor I wanted. He showed me some and said they were the same but a better price. The floor was not the same, it was a thinner floor. Fast forward, verbal quote was kinda high. I showed him quotes from others. Cesar with Top bro added in square footage. The square footage was higher the second time he stopped at my house than the first time. All my other estimates have the same footage. I then asked for written quote /estimate-no response in writing. He states he also works for Empire and or Luna. For some reason I could not get an estimate in writing. Could not get an answer if they are bonded or insured.

Cesar was extremely responsive and professional. I purchased my own flooring and materials. At the time of the estimate he listed all other items I needed to purchase that I overlooked. The day of the installation the work was completed much faster than I expected. I look forward to working with them in the future.

My husband and I were very happy with the work done. Cesar, Jose, and Jose senior worked throughout the time of the remodel, often on a Saturday to speed up the process. Someone was working everyday towards the project's completion. When an issue came up, due mainly to our home being a 1980 constructed home, they problem solved collaboratively and with humor. They were friendly and communicative-texting and calling frequently to keep us updated. We love our new stair railing.

"I love my floors!" This has been a repeated exclamation from my mother, who moved reluctantly from her long-time residence in Arlington Heights to Lake Zurich in order to be closer to family. We had two weeks to transform her new house into her dream home, and one of the key elements involved staining the "hideous" oak floors. I can't stress enough how important it was to change the floor color; my mother is very particular about this. Top Bro's Construction & Remodeling Inc. worked diligently with us to complete the project, and they re-arranged schedules to make it happen. The last coat of polyurethane was applied on Saturday and my mother moved in on Monday. I used Nok-Out in a vaporizer on Sunday to help dissipate the odor, and there really wasn't that much dust to clean up; smelly, dusty, and sticky floors were definitely non-issues on moving day. Top Bro's team has a secret weapon named Narciso, our floor sander and stainer. Although not a native English-speaker, he very effectively communicated with me and helped me pick out the perfect dark stain color. I needed his guidance as there was a surprisingly wide selection of colors, and I chose a different one (antique brown) instead of the original (dark walnut) based on his descriptions from past jobs and color balance. Narciso seems like an old-world master craftsman who takes great pride in his work (his creations). Even my mother, who never met Narciso, talked about him this way. What a pleasure to find such a conscientious skilled wood artist. Another remarkable thing about contracting with Top Bro's is that they don't use bait-and-switch tactics. My quoted price was my end price, in spite of the fact that the floors needed much more sanding than anticipated. We expected to be charged for the extra days (note the plural). Someone warned me that this happens all the time (underestimating the job in terms of time and thus cost, and we the clients are desperate just to get the job done and have no choice but to pay extra). But that didn't happen - let me restate that we WEREN'T charged extra for the unexpected sanding days. Again, what a pleasure to find an honest company. I was also given honest advice about other remodeling ideas that I then chose not to pursue. I will not hesitate to contract with Top Bro's in the future, and I suggest that anyone looking for skilled, honest, reliable, reasonably-priced, and easy-to-communicate-with home contractors look no farther than Top Bro's and give Jose and Cesar a call for "Help!"

Came out to look at the project I was planning. I was told that I would receive a quote by email. Never received it. Inquired if they were still planning to send me the quote. Again no response.

I called Top Bros Construction after finding them on Angie's List. I recently bought the house and needed some remodeling & upgrades done. They returned my call promptly and came to my house 2 days later to look at the work needed to be done. There was much work to be done & they (Jose, Cesar and their father) listened patiently to what my husband & I wanted done and made suggestions. After getting several estimates we hired Top Bros. The work included removing carpet in the spacious family room, installing hardwood flooring & feathering in the new floor with the old floor in the adjoining kitchen, staining & finishing floor and painting the 2 story living room. The open staircase was wood going upstairs which they also refinished but carpeted going downstairs to the lower level. The stairs going down had to be rebuilt as they were not made of oak treads like the rest of the stairs. In the lower level they removed carpet, leveled the cement floor and installed approx. 1000 sq ft plank porcelain tiles. As the home was vacant, they were able to get there early and spent all day. Cesar, Jose and their workers were friendly, courteous and went out of their way to help us move some items when they realized we could not move them. The hardwood floor is beautiful and you can not tell were the old joins the new. The tiles in the lower level are gorgeous. I have already told them that as soon as it gets warmer I have some exterior work for them including installing a new sliding glass door.

Top Bro's Construction did a great job on installing floor tile in my family room. They were always on time and receptive to any changes or customization I needed. Cesar, Jose and the crew are young hard working professionals. I hope to use them again!

Jose and Cesar (the owners) were both level headed and easy to speak to about the needs of the project. We're happy with the outcome, and happy to have our bathroom in working order again. We had some superficial water damage to the floor in our main bathroom and decided to have all of the tile replaced in the shower and on the floor. I first met with Jose for an estimate, and was impressed with his easy going demeanor and ability to answer my questions. After committing to using Top Bros., I met Cesar just before the project start date, and was just as impressed with him as I was Jose. When coordinating the start and finish dates for the remodel, I let them know we wanted it completed by dec. 20th. Either Jose or Cesar were usually present throughout the project. They also had a couple of other assistant contractors come on different days. For any questions or concerns I had along the way, I was always able to get a hold of Jose and get prompt responses. They started December 4, and had the bulk of the project finished by December 8. There were a few minor mishaps along the way, but they made every effort to correct issues as promptly as possible. Everything was completed before Christmas. A couple of months after the project was completed, I noticed the new vanity sink wasn't sealed properly to the pipe below it. I called Jose and they came out promptly to fix it.

Caesar and Jose did a great job with their team in installing hardwood floors on both floors of our home. Great finishing on the wood, very happy with the way it looks. Also did a great job with our staircase. We love the way our home looks now, thanks for all your work!

When I first emailed Top Bros with questions on possible future work they replied and stopped by my home that same week to give me an estimate. Jose and Cesar would great and made us feel very comfortable and confident about all the work we were getting done. We had a lot of oak all over our home (floors, baseboards, trims, kitchen cabinets) and we know we needed a change. They explained the process and the next week the work started. The whole first floor required sanding and staining to match with the new floors and it can be very overwhelming (especially with busy work schedules and 2 dogs), but they were great in keeping us updated with everything. The painting was also very clean and professional. We absolutely love our new wall colors. But the favorite part was our kitchen remodel. They painted the cabinets and added a new backsplash. Very pleased with all the work they did. Both Jose and Cesar were very professional. They went above and beyond to make sure us, the clients were pleased with everything. I would definitely recommend them. You won’t be disappointed. They are a family run business and I trust them enough to call them for a future bathroom remodel.

Top Bros Construction sure did a top-notch job on my bathroom remodel project! I initially called them because I had a leaking toilet that had damaged the hardwood floor and sub-floor in my bathroom. They removed the damaged flooring and replaced it with a new sub-floor and ceramic tile. I was concerned about how the newly-tiled bathroom would transition into the hardwood floor in the hall outside. Cesar, one of the company's owners, assured me that he and his crew would make it a seamless transition and as the attached picture shows, they did. They also provided the labor to install a new toilet, vanity, lighting fixture and accessories in the bathroom including dry-wall repair and re-painting after removing the old fixtures. They brought in a plumber, Roque 's Plumbing and Sewer, to assess the water damage and to professionally install the new sink and toilet. Any concerns or questions I had as the project progressed were answered promptly and professionally. I really appreciated that they did not try to up-sell me at any time and all work was discussed and approved by me before it started. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them without reservation. They are not satisfied until their customer is satisfied. Terrific experience!

They were great. Tried to help me get discounts on materials. Educated us on mastic vs mortar adhesive for backsplash.

We had to fire a previous contractor who was doing a terrible job and slow. We found these guy's two brother's ceasar and Jose who said they would work within our buget and help us out fix our basement. we had them install 600sq ft of porcelain tiles 12x24 and level out uneven area's they did a great job and even came back to fix some scrached tiles. Highly recommend will be using them again for future project's.

Everything went smooth! Cesar and Jose are professional, deliver great customer service, and are extremely respectful. Despite the fact that these individuals are young, they have talent and are committed to satisfy the needs of their customers. They retain great knowledge and skills. I am pleased with the overall appearance and would definitely recommend Top Bro's Construction to my family, friends, and peers!
