Description of Work: Replaced garage door opener. A new unit motor/chain driven was installed to replace a old/damaged unit. Unit was smaller, not as noisy and works fine. Installer was good, explained all the options of repair vs. a new one, etc. Spent time with owner on phone checking for parts on old unit and he worked "overtime" in trying to help us with the most economic solution. It took two trips out to fix it all because first time out they assessed the problem and had to see if repair parts were available. After search we choose to go with the new unit and we are glad we did.

Description of Work: They changed the springs on our garage door. The repair tech was very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. Their price was almost half one of the other service providers that we called and they were able to affect the repair the same day that we called.

 + -1 moreI called at 7:30am to ask for them to come out to replace springs and seal. They opened at 8:00am so I left a message. They responded to my call by 8:15. They asked when I needed it fixed by. It was not urgent but they said they would send someone out in the morning. Their service person was running behind schedule. They kept me updated by calling me a couple times to let me know when he would arrive. The person providing the service was friendly and professional. He had to enter the house and he made sure he did not leave a mess. He notice that the cables needed to be replaced also and immediately gave me an estimate. He worked hard to make sure the job was perfomed properly. I am happy with the work from first contact through payment. I am completely satisfied.

 + -1 moreThe problem occurred over a weekend. I called early on Monday and they arrived early that same afternoon. The young men were courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. They had the replacement parts on the truck and within a short span of time replaced the springs, were finished, and cleaned up.
Description of Work: We had a broken garage door spring. They replaced the springs on both sides and also inspected, adjusted, and tightened loose fittings.

 + -1 moreWe returned the transmitter after numerous tries and much wasted time trying to automatically open the garage door. We let them know that the code was incorrect.
Description of Work: They replaced the garage door transmitter because it did not open the overhead garage door. The transmitter, with the allegedly new code, still did not open the door. Upon returning the transmitter, they said that was the code, and it should work. Needless to say, the transmitter did not open the door.
