We've been using a bucket as our bathroom sink drain for longer than I care to admit and have been emptying it into the shower on a regular basis. I've also been dealing with slow drips under my kitchen sink for years. This is in addition to the way the kitchen drain backs up and drains veeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy ssllloooooowwly. We finally got on Angie's List and found a reputable plumber in our area - who had a coupon! - and decided to give them a call on Monday afternoon. That was yesterday. We expected to have to schedule an appointment in a week or two for someone to come out - after all, it wasn't an emergency, just a continued annoyance. The dispatcher said he could have someone over here in an hour if we wanted! We chose to have the serviceman come today - Tuesday - as that fit our home schedule better. John K. arrived spot on at 9am as scheduled. He showed me his ID without being asked and was ready to work. Every time he went in or out of the house, he did two things: he put booties on (or took them off) and he checked to make sure our cats were not going to get out the door. John was great - personable, professional... everything you'd ever want in a plumber. He explained everything in as much detail as I needed, answer questions and gave advice for what he'd do if this were his house. He looked things over and gave me a written estimate of all the work - which was much less than I feared! - and then got right to work. One side note: John was not your typical sit-com plumber. He wore a belt and his shirt was tucked in at all times. He said it was because he always got "Tall" shirts - they have longer tails and you don't get the problems other plumbers can have. Back to the work. John fixed the bathroom sink fast - he just needed to take out the old and attach new pipes and joints. He tested it before I came to look over the work and re-tested it with me there. Everything was great. John then took a look at the kitchen sink and determined where the clog probably was. We uncovered the access pipe and he spread tarps and drop cloths before opening that pipe... and found a HUGE grease clog. He had another job that was scheduled for later and asked if it would be all right to swap times out between the two jobs: he would go to the 2nd job and take care of their problem and then come back and get my grease-and-dirt-monster taken care of. I had no problem with that - he left here at the end of the job much dirtier than he arrived, and I would hate to think he would have been going to another person's house in that condition. John came back promptly when he said he would - calling before he arrived again with extra tools to make the job easier. He then not only rodded out my grease-monster of a pipe, he cleaned everything up to better than it was before he got there. There was a huge splatter of stuff, but it went on his tarps and drop cloths - nothing went on anything of ours. He got our pipes clear and had suggestions for how we could keep it clear - and what to do if it clogged up again. We have a 90-day guarantee for the clogged drain and a year guarantee on all the other work. After getting that pipe clear, and hearing the GLORIOUS sound of water rushing/being sucked down the kitchen drain, John then fixed our leaky kitchen pipes with new fittings and joints. He tightened up a couple of joints that had been dripping and replaced a S-trap with a U-trap, bringing our house back up to code in that sink. All in all, John was great. He did the work quickly, professionally, and well. He is personable, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He knows his stuff, does his job well, and I would hire him or his company again in a heartbeat.

Well, I was scared in the beginning, but from the time I was on the phone, plumber calmed me by saying he would be right out. Once he arrived, I felt better, then I was worred about smudging my carpet or hitting furniture, but everything looked liked he was never there. My water heater is working perfectly.

I went down in my basement on a Saturday morning and heard water running. Noticed the ceiling was wet. I realized it must be coming from my laundry room. I checked and heard water spraying in the wall in my laundry room on the first floor. I called Roselle Plumbing. John told me how to turn off the water so I could still use the water in the rest of my house. He came out later that day. He cut the wall open (a small opening) found the two leaks, one in each pipe and promptly fixed the problem. It was done quickly...professionally...and without a mess. Plus he didn't even charge extra for coming out the same day and on a Saturday, now that's what I call service!!

He did a great job of fixing the problem. Everything works like new, now. Others had not been able to take care of the problem, but Roselle did it w/o issue. Also, the price was very good.

Aproximately at 5:30am in the morning on September 30, 2009 I awakened to find that the water heater in my home was leaking, I had water everywhere, I reached for the phone book and called over 5 plumbing companies with no luck, all I heard were recorded messages. Then I remembered a TV ad for Angies List! I brought up Angies List on my computer, put in my zipcode and had many companies to choose from. I called Roselle Plumbing, they had 24 hour service and were in my area..... I was surprised when a real human answered the phone so early, they listened to my hysterical description of what was going on, gave me an opinion of what they thought would be the problem, and sent a plumber out right away. The plumber arrived in less than 40 minutes, I was never so glad to see anyone in my life! The job took about 5 hours to do and when he left, everything was tidied up and back to normal. The plumber they sent was professional, clean, in uniform, courteous, and wore shoe covers. He put down tarps so not to scratch my flooring while working, and hauled the old water heater away. I was so greatful that Roselle Plumbing responded and fixed my problem so quickly! I will refer them to everyone I know, and I will always call on them for any future plumbing needs.
