As usual, Roselle Plumbing was prompt, clean and skilled at what they do. Would hire again and have recommended to friends.

John was very nice and definitely knew what he was talking about. The only problem was the high price quote of $387, which we decided to pass on. We did pay $49 for him to come out and give us a quote. Today, my husband found a licensed plumber with 20+ years of experience to do the same job for $125 out the door. Sorry John - you were so nice, but we couldn't afford you.

It went well. They were professional and quick during a time of big storms in the area. Today, 6/15/2015, more storms and a flooding basement prompted another call. We were triaged over the phone, and by the time they got here our water was already receding. They take the warranty seriously, and came right over. Pump was working, and he verified we should be good to go. Tomorrow in the light of day, we have a couple things we can check in the yard. No charge for the warranty visit, even during the Stanley Cup Finals.

John and Jerry did a great job with my plumbing replacement/repair requests. They gave me a full quote of what it would cost for both hot/cold water valve replacements for the connections to the washer. Then they also gave me a quote for the repair work for my shower. They had to order the part for the shower, so it couldn't be done the same day. They completed the hot/cold water valve replacement very quickly and it now works great. Then I called to scheduled the second repair to my shower, and they were able to come back later that week and complete the shower repair. I also decided during that week to get a new shower head/faucet since they were working on it anyway, and they added that to my quote and corrected the water temperature issue and replaced my shower head/faucet with the new one I picked out. They were a great team, very professional, and clearly answered my questions on how everything worked.

Great service. No problems scheduling the service. Plumbers showed up on time and gave us a quote and did the work immediately. We have used Roselle Plumbing in the past (removed water softener and repaired toilet) and were happy with them so decided to use them again. Very professional service with no issues.

The office person was pleasant and informed me of a $49 trip charge for an estimate. I should have been put off by this, but I read the reviews for them on Angie's List and I thought they'd be reasonably priced if they came out and thought the trip charge would just be applied to the work. Before having them come out, I took pictures of my 2 hose bibs and sent off estimate requests to other plumbers and received 3 responses back, and they were all around $600 including everything to replace the 2 hose bibs with frost free bibs with 5 year warranties. Roselle Plumbing replied to my estimate request saying they'd have to look at it to give the best price. Since they were close to me and had decent reviews and are also family-owned, I figured they'd be in the ballpark of $600 or so as well. Instead, when they came out I was quoted a price of $411 per hose bib PLUS the $49 trip charge, for a whopping $871 repair. I asked if they could at least get closer to the $600 estimates, and they said they could give 10% off, still $785, over 30% higher than other estimates. They said they use better parts, but even the best sillcocks are less than $100 each and all the estimates I received were for 5 year warranties. He said they had to go by the book price, so there was no negotiating with that. I reluctantly paid the $49 trip charge and declined the work. Very disappointed, I even said if they could get to $700 I'd let them do the work and he refused, so out of principle, I just had to decline the costly price.

I called them up and spoke to Ann. She was very friendly and helpful. I told her about my plumbing problems and she explained there is a $49 trip fee and then the plumbers would give me an estimate on my job. I set up an appointment for a couple of days later. John and his apprentice showed up right on time. I had minor issues such as a toilet tank that would run periodically because it had a leak. He replaced the tank seal on that toilet. Another toilet had a handle that was a bit tweaked. He was able to fix that as well and everything seems to be working fine.

I called their office around 8:30am and spoke with Suzanne, told her I needed this test done asap and that I would be at my business until 2pm, she said let me see what I can do, I can squeeze you in sometime early afternoon. About an hour later she called back and said she can have someone at my location by 11am....Awesome! Two very professional looking gentlemen came in, around 11, introduce themselves, handed me their card and proceeded to do the test, 20 minutes later they were done. Everything passed, got my report and was told of one small issue, there's a small drip on test c*** #2...(I have no idea what that is), said he was able to do test this time, but next year it would have to be changed and told me what the approximate cost would be. Not only did they offer great service, but got a 10% discount by using Angie's list coupon!!..Wooo hoo..Thanks Angie and thank you Suzanne and John for all your efforts in handling my request as quickly and as professional as you have. I will definitely use their services in the future.

Very professional and friendly father and son team. Installed new suck pump that day and explained everything to me.

We have used Roselle Plumbing a few times for backed up drains as well as sump replacement. John is always punctual and takes his work seriously. He is clean and always thorough in his work and takes time to explain the problem and the repair work involved We recently had a leaky faucet in the bathroom. We were offered to go out and get our own faucet or buy one through Roselle Plumbing. The part cost wasnt much different in price so we let them handle the whole thing . They came out a few days later with part in hand and took care of the replacement.

They were extremely professional and very pleasant to work with. They were fair in their pricing. They quoted us form a price sheet and we knew that they were not trying to take advantage of us since we were in a desperate situation. They sent 2 gentlemen out to do the job. They were very informative throughout the whole process. They told us what they found and what they would recommend.

All went well! Professional arrived on time, performed the service well, and it's backed with a 90-day warranty. Satisfied.

I have mixed feelings about Roselle Plumbing. I did a quick scan of Angie's List plumbers and this looked well-rated, so I made the mistake of not reading the review thoroughly, like I normally do. I called around 2:00 p.m. to see when I could schedule an appointment to have my garbage disposal fixed and they said they might be able to get someone out this afternoon. The plumber was at my house around 4:00 p.m the same day, so I can't argue with the speed of service. Very impressive. The person I talked to on the phone let me know there would be a $49 service charge. I didn't question this, as it doesn't seem unusual. I should have asked if that would be applied to work done (as I thought was a normal practice). The plumber took about 5 minutes to determine the disposal was clogged. He let me know upfront that the cost would be $184 to unclog the disposal before doing any work. I asked if the $49 would be applied to this. He said it would not. I would have to pay the $49 service call fee on top of this. I felt I was already going to be charge $49, so rather than have to go through the whole process with another plumber, I would just pay the expensive cost and have it done. The plumber took about 15 minutes to repair the garbage disposal. So I realized when he was done, I was paying $233 for about 20 minutes of work. When I mentioned this to him, he had many excuses. They charge per job so even if it would have been more difficult to unjam, he still would charge the same. He is experienced and can get jobs done quickly, where as an apprentice may take longer. I'm sorry, but an apprentice may take 40 minutes total, so I'm still paying over $200 for 40 minutes of work. I feel like by agreeing to pay the $49 service call fee, I was locked in no matter what price they showed me later, and they sure did show me a price! When I complained about the price, he did offer me a 10% Angie's List coupon offer they had going on, which brought the price down to the $209.70. I then proceeded to let him know I would not be using their services again due to the pricing. He remained professional (other than joking that I was complaining because he performed the job too quickly! Sorry, not funny that it is acceptable to charge $233 for 20 minutes of work!) If you look at the other low ratings, their reviews are very similar and the responses back from the company are very dismissive, so I look forward to hearing what they will say about my review. The speed of coming out here was great. The work done was fine. The professionalism was okay. But in the end, the company was just not worth the cost. I will definitely be looking for a new plumber next time.

All good, Susan was a pleasure to deal with concerning scheduling and keeping us informed. The technician John was a craftsman in the best sense. John was knowledgeable and exceptionally polite. His assistant kept us informed as the work progressed and also listened to our concerns. The new equipment is of excellent quality, Naturally it was not cheap, but with something like a sump pump, we wanted good quality equipment/service and we feel that is what we received.

It took 15 minutes and water was running again. |We are very happy once again. The service people are so very nice and very informative so we will highly recommend this company any time there is a need for plumbing service. Thank you Roselle Plumbing.

Coldest day ever and no water in my bathroom sink or tub. Didn't think it was frozen pipes because the bathroom walls are not on the exterior walls of my house. Tried a space heater to thaw the pipes and about 10 AM heard water spewing out of my bathroom cabinet. Ran to turn off main valve. Called Roselle Plumbing and John was at my door at 3PM. He had to cut through my bathroom cabinet to get to the drywall, had to cut that too in order to replace the pipe. After pipe was replaced, turned the water back on but still no water to the sink faucet. Another frozen pipe so John used his thawing tool but the 2nd pipe split also. More cutting, another pipe replaced. Turned water on and all was good!! John and his helper did a great job in a very small space underneath my bathroom sink cabinet. They were very professional and friendly; cleaned up their mess and were on their way to handle more calls. I have used Roselle Plumbing before and John has always been so nice, and provides a great service experience. I will continue to use them. I highly recommend Roselle Plumbing!

I called Roselle plumbing for an emergency job and they were able to stop by next day at 1pm ( right on time). They replaced shutoff value to faucet in front of my townhouse. Excellent work. I will be contacting them in the spring to replace the faucet/bib. 3rd generation plumbers. Not sure what standard rate was but it was worth it.

The most recent work was replacing a worn out bathroom faucet cartridge and fixing a toilet that kept filling. But the most memorable repair this year was a month ago when I was having the downstairs flooring replaced and the toilet in the bathroom on that level broke. The room was gutted with all the flooring ripped up, but John insisted on wearing his shoe covers so that he wouldn't accidentally mark the wall with his heel while kneeling on the floor. Just an unbelievably conscientious guy plus he does great plumbing work!

When I called Roselle Plumbing, the receptionist was very nice and said she would try to fit us in that day...which she did. Both she and the men who came called prior to their arrival which we appreciated. They were very knowledgeable and fixed our leaky toilet. It needed a seal replacement and a minor adjustment to the water level. We understood the $49 service call, but felt $140 to replace the seal was quite high (we priced a kit at the hardware store for under $15). Even with their 10% discount we ended up paying $175 to get a seal replaced. Other than the price charged, we were pleased with their work.

He took his time, he was willing to talk about what he was doing. He quoted everything up front and a nice guy. He came out promptly for a non-emergency. I think that it was a fair price for what we got. His price might be a little above average, but well worth it.

I called Roselle Plumbing as a referral from another plumber on Angies List who did not service my area. I spoke with Barb from their office, explained what was happening (sewer backing up inside my house). She said she could have someone out probably in an hour. Sure enough, Barb called me within an hour of my phone call to Roselle Plumbing to let me know the plumbers were on their way!! John and Jerry were very punctual. John even picked up the newspaper at the end of my driveway and brought it to me! They assessed the situation, explained the work that would be performed and quoted me a price before starting any work. John explained every step along the way and answered every question I had (and I always have a lot!) John and Jerry did an EXCELLENT job, from beginning to end. Very professional and polite. I would call them again in a heart beat! Thank you ever so much!!!

I feel the two jobs were professionally done. They spent 2.5hrs completing the work and explained all of the steps they performed. The jobs were not emergencies and were scheduled two days ahead. I feel that the prices are top end of the range. This bill was almost entirely for labor, with perhaps $30 of parts (prices are quoted inclusive of parts). They also charged a fee for the call which I feel should not be charged when this much work is billed. They did honor the Angie's coupon which helped a bit. To conclude, very good work but if you are concerned about cost you might want to call around and get some estimates.
