We heard our ejector pump running and it wouldn't turn it off. We signed up for Angie's List so we could read the reviews of plumbers and contacted one that had really good ratings. They said they could be here 90 minutes later so we booked an appointment and John showed up about 20 minutes early. After hearing and seeing what was happening he gave us a few options and explained the pricing. We chose the option that seemed like it would require the least amount of follow-up visits (because it was replacing the whole ejector pump and switch vs. just replacing the switch) and he completed the work very quickly. We would definitely recommend Roselle Plumbing to others. John was very professional (wore booties in our house, on time for the appointment and finished quickly).

Replaced the sump pump battery in my basement. My backup battery had stopped working and needed replacing. I had a sump maintenance coupon from the Scottish Plumber which I had purchased from Angie's List Big Deal. The person who came over applied a scare tactic to sell me over $1500/- worth of sump pump and battery package. The sales pitch lasted for over an hour. After he left, I immediately called Roselle Plumber who sent someone((John) over within the hour. He replaced dead battery and explained how the pump works. Total cost $500 which included a new battery and his labor cost. Very honest. I had used them previously too and the they fixed my garbage disposal under the sink for free. You cannot get better service than that!!

Would we use Roselle Plumbing again? YES!!! Very professional company; we were told the repairman would call about a half hour before arrival and he did - he made certain to weat booties while working and was respectful of our home. John made certain we understood what was causing the problem and that we understood the repair and the pricing. He also (at no additional cost) installed a new showerhead we had purchasded for the master bath and moved the master bath showerhead to a guest bath. We would recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work.

John quickly determined what needed to be done, and explained everything in detail. He acquired the necessary parts and hooked up and leveled the dishwasher.

John was professional & did a good job. Just thought the charge exorbitant.

wow..talk about outstanding service. John did an incredible job clearing our bathroom sink .Its draining better than it ever has. He took his time and it shows. Very friendly and honest service. John was alos very clean in his work. We are extremely happy to know we can keep money in Roselle businesses and get quality work done.

He was efficient. He made suggestions for future use of the drain. He was friendly and helpful.

Called in the morning and John came out within 2 hours. The pice he gave me was exactly what the cost was. He was very prompt and courteous and did a wonderful job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The woman who scheduled my appointment was very nice and accommodating. They called before they came, as requested. John was on time, polite, and clean. John and I reviewed the issues, discussed possible solutions. We agreed that the hose bibb in the back needed to be relocated, it was too low. The hose bibb in the front was old but semi functional. He explained how he thought the repair in the back should be done. He answered all my questions. I told him I thought I wanted to replace both, he agreed this was the best choice. He told me he had the time and parts to do it right then or he could come back at a better time. He went to his truck, wrote up the proposal. He explained what was included, how much everything cost. The fees are fixed and include the parts and the labor. He did the work in a timely and not overly disruptive fashion - inspected, priced and completed within 4 hours, cleaned everything up when he was done, reviewed the work completed - no surprise fees, just the proposed price. We haven't had any issues with the completed work!

They were excellent. They were professional and punctual. I liked everything about them. The quality of work they did was excellent. I rate them high overall and I will definitely use them again in the future.

John arrived on time and was very thorough in pinpointing the source of the leak which turned out not to be plumbing related. I found the price of the diagnostic and service call to be very reasonable for 2 full hours of detective work. Both John and Suzanne in the office were very polite and professional. I will call them again for future plumbing issues.

When we contacted Roselle for an estimate they were able to come out within the day. Based upon their estimate for the gas line we agreed to have them do the work. They did not give an estimate on the faucet as their representative thought there might be a more reasonable way to approach the problem but he wanted to research it. As promised they called the day before to confirm the appointment. The woman who called asked if they could move the appointment back an hour as it appeared the appointment prior to ours would take longer than they originally estimated. She said there might not be a delay but wanted to be candid and not inconvenience us. We appreciated this as it is better to know there could be some delay. The Roselle representative arrived only about 15 minutes later than the original appointment time and also apologized. He immediately set to work and was done within the hour. The work was done professionally and the clean up was exceptional. For that matter they did more than we expected. After the job was done they presented their estimate on the faucet and gave us a competitive number and a unique solution to a strange problem. We will probably have them do this after we have some other work done. They were everything that Angies List said they were. We are very satisfied and will use them without question on future plumbing issues.

They came out the very next day but by then it had stopped leaking. He explained sometimes rust will form over the leak and seal it. No services were performed however they were on-time and friendly.

It has bucketed rain in the past couple of days, and our house took the brunt of it. Roselle Plumbing was our knight in shining armor that took care of the moat that was forming in our basement. Our sump pump went out - probably in the middle of the night - and we didn't realize it until mid-morning. We had a couple of inches of water and no sump pump. We called Roselle Plumbing at 11am, and John was able to come out by 3:00. He checked our pipes and the outlet (the pipe that leaves the house and drains the water into our back yard) and talked to us about our sump needs (we usually have a dry basement, even when it pours rain). He then showed us specs on two possible sumps, but said we'd most likely just need the cheaper one. He replaced our sump, and included a valve which helps stop the water from draining back down into the sump after it's been pumped outside. When I commented on that, he said that his philosophy of work is that it's not too hard to do things right, so why not just go ahead and do the job right the first time? He did the work quickly and was professional, polite and cheerful during the entire procedure. John wore booties over his shoes every time he came into our house. He explained everything he was doing, gave us choices and recommendations, and was done faster than we expected him to be. I have recommended Roselle Plumbing to my friends and neighbors, and will do so again. For us, if we ever need to get a plumber again, we will go with Roselle Plumbing.

The first couple of times I called, I only got a voicemail. When he did call me back, he seemed very nice and told me that I might be better calling someone that was closer to me to avoid higher charges. He was right about that, they are a little far from me so I appreciated him at least saying that. Also, I had already chosen the company that I was going to do the work with.

Service was great. Called on a Saturday, and were told there was a premium for Sunday service, but could get the regular service rate for a Monday call. So we scheduled a Monday service call, and he was punctual (actually a little early). My wife actually called me to tell me how happy she was with the service. The plumber had to go into the crawl space to access a cleanout, and the entrance to the crawl is through my three year old daughter's closet (which was a mess). He actually bagged up clothes that were in there in order to access the space, and put everything back too! The price was reasonable (I spent a few hours myself trying to get the washcloth out), and the service was incredible. My wife was VERY impressed with how clean he was, especially after our previous experience with other plumbers. We will definitely use them again. I was questioning whether it was worth signing up on Angie's List to find a plumber, but it turned out great and after the 10% off coupon, really only cost me a few dollars for the year. Plus I found a plumber that I know I will use in the future.

Called Sunday night, scheduled Monday service. Plumber on time, courteous, professional, proactive in explaining services and approaches to fixing problem. Very satisfied.

During one of our many cold snaps this winter, we experienced a burst pipe in our barn and were without hot/cold water inside the horse barn. Anyone with horses can tell you that's not cool. We also decided to replace the old faucet with a new design to reduce the chances of this happening again. Our original plumber on the job went so far (bringing the new faucet and prepping the area for faucet installation) before he realized we had an electrical problem in our barn - he thought it wise (and we agree!) to have electrician figure out the problem. So our plumbing job was put on hold. Sure enough, electrician discovered that our electrical service in the barn and to the water supply was never grounded. That was remedied and our project was ready to resume - but by then, our plumber was swamped (pardon the pun) with other emergency projects that popped up in the meantime. Due to his scheduling constraints, he put us in touch with John Katsiroubas from Roselle Plumbing. We can call it same-day service after that! We had a call, an appointment time and running hot/cold water by afternoon. John is a pro - prompt, professional, friendly, neat, knowledgeable. He shared some helpful hints with us that we appreciate very much. We would absolutely call Roselle Plumbing for help in the future. About the price - please note that the work in the barn was $442 - there was a service call charge of $69 (perhaps because we were a distance away) between Roselle and Barrington Hills...

when snow started to thaw, outdoor spiket sprung leak. called roselle plumbing, they responded within the hr.

I called after the pump leaked and I was able to put a shortterm fix in place to. They were able to come the next day and replace the pipes, seal the connections and redo the connection leading outside. They were very professional and resolved the issue completely.

I wished I used Roselle plumbing for the installation of the water heater. I received a quote from Sears for $350 less so I was thinking I was saving money. Well, Sears came out and I was charged additional $300 due to the additional piping. I should have spen the money on Roselle Pluming and for $50 I would have received better service from John and a Bradford White heater which is much better than the Sears Miser. I updated this review after Sears came out. Next time, I will use Roselle and I will highly recommend Roselle!

John did a fine job diagnosing the problem. No hard sell, kept me informed of what he was doing and explained whole process. Leak was from hole in caulk around shower fixture. He suggested a new face plate and recaulking, which I did.
