Good price. Will see how the sealed cracks hold up over the winter, but so far so good.

Not good. Had to call several times to just schedule. We were willing to wait just because they had a good rating. But they seem like they are too busy to return the call. After they did the work, within a week, there were several tire marks in my driveway. We had to call more then 10 times and left messages. Finally, I got them replying to my messages through Angies List message. After after about 2 weeks, they did not inform when they are going to come but they came and applied hot flame to remove the tire marks. Not everybody will be this patient and have this much time to keep calling them. I will not use them again. See attached pics. This was taken after they did the work first time and before they applied heat to remove the tire marks. We had about 6 spots like this in our small driveway.

I am not having these guys perform the work as just getting them out here to give me an estimate and returning my phone calls has been an unpleasant experience.

Worker showed up on time, did the job, and cleaned up the mess. What more can one ask?

They were prompt, polite, and professional. They gave us a good quote for the work we needed and when they finished it looked great.

We took in several bids on this project - Hard Surface Solutions was the most reasonable. The came out on a Monday morning, secured each driveway into our lot to prevent traffic inflow, and began to apply the seal coat by hand (our preference over spraying by machine). Both lots were done in 4 hours and the job was immaculate. They not only did an amazing job on our lots, but there wasn't a single mark on our concrete sidewalks or driveway aprons. They returned the next day and did a professional job on the striping. Our two lots have a total of 100 parking spaces (some handicapped) and it was laid out exact to our striping plan.

Arrived on-time and did a great job.

They were quick and easy. They came while I was at work, and billed me for the extra costs after. I paid by check. They did a great job. The only reason I gave a B in responsiveness was because it took quite some time for them to respond to my initial contact. After that point, everything was seamless.

It was not very good. The communication was very poor. They did not return phone calls and e-mails. I had specific questions regarding the service and dates of service they didn't even follow that. They set up three dates that were not even times when I could take time off from work. They ended up showing up when I was at work. I just needed to get the job done because the weather was turning for the worse. So, it wasn't a good experience. They did not do what I requested. I asked for an additional service, which I was perfectly happy paying for and they didn't do that either. They didn't charge me though. I had some communication with somebody over there through e-mail and we agreed to doing the extra work at extra charge and it was not done. It was hot-applied crack seal. It was just some kind of extra sealants for deeper indentations and cracks on the driveway. They did not do that. I wish there was improved communication. They didn't do what I asked or I just got no responses on e-mails and phone calls.

I purchased a "Buy Now deal to have my driveway sealcoated. The process allows you to put in 3 preferred days for the work. I put in Oct. 20, Oct 21, Oct 22. It also states that I would be contacted within 2 days. I understand that this may mean business days, but I still have not heard from them, 5 days later! I have tried twice to call the numbers provided, and left messages and still no response. I am now stuck without knowing when, or if I will be contacted and ever get the work done. Even if they are busy, I would have expected a reputable company to at least acknowledge that a customer picked the days she wanted by their instructions, and let that customer know they are not going to be able to get it done during that time frame. I would have been happy to wait....IF SOMEONE HAD LET ME KNOW!!! So now I wait for the refund from Angies list, and am happy to have found a different more responsive and professional company.

Frankly, I'm a little disappointed, especially after viewing the positive AngiesList input prior to selecting this company. My driveway is only two years old and I wanted to make sure it got properly sealed. The crew came, sealed the driveway and left while I was out for a morning walk. I really have no complaints about the top surface of the driveway but they did not edge nor seal the beveled sides of the driveway where cracks had developed. Nor did they fill the cracks. Perhaps the work crew was in a hurry ahead of the forecasted and much anticipated thunderstorms of that afternoon. I hope 5 hours drying time is sufficient! The black smudges on the lawn along the driveway, as if a worker was cleaning his boots, were also a negative. Feeling like I could have gotten the same result using the "el cheapo" company that leaves paper flyers on my front door. I talked to Larry about my concerns and even sent him pictures. He told me that he'd have someone return to look into it. Two weeks later, no resolution. They were extremely prompt in returning my call and scheduling the work (next day). Too bad it was a negative customer experience. 10/13/15 Update: Larry - I did not see your response until now (10/13/2015). Perhaps a phone call or an e-mail would have been better. I will send the pictures a second time later today. For your added convenience, I'll also post them to this site if I can. 10/20/15 Update: Larry had his crew return to address my concerns. Now satisfied, I'll give Seal Kote the benefit of the doubt and chalk the initial problems up to a bad day for the crew. Any company that stands by their work and returns to address customer concerns deserves their due recognition. I've changed my response to the "would you use this provider in the future" question to "Yes".

They came and gave us an estimate in just a couple of days and we had the work done shortly after. The technician came on time. Did a good job filling in the smaller cracks. He was professional and friendly.

. Two men pulled up early that morning and I waved that I was home. I watched from the front window and recall mentally noting how fast they were working. From a distance I saw them pouring material into what I assumed were the cracks. I was surprised at how fast they worked and it was done in such a short time! I did not see them leave because when I returned to the window, they were gone. The next day I went out to take a look at the work performed. They missed the cracks and poured around them! It was obvious that these men needed supervision and probably were 'on the clock' getting the job completed. Whatever they did or did not do, I could not ever recommend this to anyone I know. I have had this driveway done many times in the past, so I do have comparisons. I usually like to ignore negative experiences, but needed to comment on this expense.

Seal -Kote came when they said charged the price Quoted and did an excellent job, clean and professional. They are hard to get hold of but they due call back eventually and is easy to deal with.

The 3 car driveway was cleaned and all the cracks were filled up. I have a sprinkler system along the edge of the driveway so they had to be careful that the sprinkler heads were not affected by the coal tar emulsion I asked them to use. The entire driveway was seal-coated with coal tar and they did a very good job - no mess or overflow onto the concrete walkway. The driveway was roped off so the seal coat could cure for a day or two. Excellent job and I'll certainly use them again

It went great! Getting a quote was so painless. Incredibly fair price. I contacted Larry via Angie's list and all discussions were handled through the "messages" system. Workers showed up on time, finished quickly, and cleaned up beautifully. The driveway looks great and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks!

I emailed and requested a quote. I received a an email quote within a day or two. I'm going to assume they use google earth or something similar to figure square footage/price. I felt the price was reasonable and asked to set up a time. The only slight hiccup was that I was never contacted to schedule a time for the work to be done. About 1 week later a crew showed up to the house while I was doing yard work and said they were there to do the driveway. I'm glad I was home and their timing didn't interfere with anything. Other than that, everything was great. The crew that came was very nice and did a very good job. They took care to not be sloppy with the sealant, and did a nice job. I am very happy with the quality of the work and will use Seal Kote in the future.

It went very well. I initially purchased a "Deal" and contacted the provider since my driveway was larger than the allotted size. After it was estimated, I agreed to the additional cost and the service was scheduled for the week of July 6th. I received a call on Tuesday that work was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. As I returned from work, the crew was just arriving and we walked over the driveway in case there were any questions since the driveway is a bit creative in the backyard. All was good and work was begun. Since my driveway was in good condition (just pretty gray) the crew cleaned and hand brush applied the sealcoating. They worked professionally and competently with the sealcoating being done in timely fashion. All edges were neat and no splashes on the house siding and the driveway looks great - I will contact them for future sealcoating. Very happy with their work!

They did a solid job. There was an issue after initial project and they came back right away to fix things. Would definitely use again!

This was a disappointing Angie's List referral. Despite the warning that subcontractors were used on the jobs and that it was their busy time of year, Seal Kote is a known name and we weren't too concerned. On the first visit, the cracks were not filled. The sealcoating was done well, however. My husband spoke with Larry, he came out to check the driveway and said he would send someone out to fill the cracks. On the second visit, it appeared as if they painted over the cracks which left a shiny finish on top of the sealcoated driveway. The cracks still weren't filled. A filled crack means you don't see any part of the crevice and there was no difference from the original condition. We gave up. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Seal Kote.

The guys showed up and got the job done in a couple of hours. They removed the grass and weeds from the cracks and sealed them all. They did the coating by hand and the job looks great. Quick and professional.
