Description of Work: Sealed blacktop driveway. They scheduled the work within days of calling and did the job well with little interaction needed from me as the homeowner.

Description of Work: Seal-Kote arrived to repair my driveway at dusk. I expressed my concern and was told that they would be done before dark. This was not true and because my lights are on a timer that had not been adjusted recently, I was trying to manually over ride it because it was TOTALLY dark before completion. There were small potholes at the end of my driveway and these were done so poorly that it appears as if they had run out of material especially since This was very strange because the other side had been filled. I expressed my concern and was told that was all that could be done.

Description of Work: We contacted Seal Kote to ask them to seal our driveway, which had not been sealed since before we bought our house in 1998. We understood that the cracks would not be leveled, just sealed. This was fine with us, as we wanted to prevent the cracks from getting worse because of snow and ice breaking up the asphalt further, and weeds growing through the cracks also causing more deterioration. We were given a (verbal) quote of $300, and a date was set. | |The crew came when we expected them, and they did a good job of clearing the weeds from the cracks, sweeping out debris, and applying the sealer on the asphalt and not on the lawn. We were told we could walk on the driveway when the sealer dried, but not to drive on it for a day. | |Later that day, or maybe the next day, we noticed that one particularly large crack had been sealed, but that the sealer had sunk in, leaving an opening of a quarter inch or so. We called to ask if the crew could return to fix that crack, as it was likely to cause further problems. We were told there were no jobs scheduled in our area for a while, but that someone would come when they were able. A some time went by, during which we withheld payment. Then one day, a crew came without notice and resealed the crack we had mentioned and several others. Later that day I spoke to the contact person at Seal Kote, who called to tell me the crew would be there the next day. He was surprised to find the work had already been done. I mailed the check for the work the next day.

Description of Work: Applied sealer to the drive way. Seal Kote did a high quality job, no messes anywhere. There were the lowest bid for the job and had good ratings, which is why I chose them. I might go with someone else next year who performs additional services, like filling cracks. Seal Kote didn't seem too interested in doing services other than the sealing, which may be fine for most.

Description of Work: We had our driveway sealcoated and some cracks sealed. They worked with our schedule and did exactly what we asked. No problems and no hassle. Even though we called during a busy time of the year (when several other companies didn't even return our calls), they got back to us in a timely manner. Would use them again.
