I contacted Seal-Kote during what seems to have been their busiest time of the year. Larry was very clear about the time it would take to get back to me with a bid and when he would have time to do the work. With that information in mind, we agreed to go forward. The bid, repair work, and sealing all occurred exactly when Larry said they would. Larry cautioned me that the repairs would be somewhat visible - the fact is that you'd have to know where they are to be able to point them out. Larry's crew did a really fine job. It is important to note that Larry did not merely put cold patch in the damaged areas - his crew super-heated them, added asphalt, and then compacted the new asphalt over the old for a permanently fused repair. This part of the job was $450 - worth every penny and far less expensive than the many thousands of dollars quoted by another company. Bottom line - first-rate work, on schedule, fair price, and no surprises. It is easy to see why Seal-Kote is so busy. Bravo!!!

Seal-Kote Corp sent 2 very capable and hard working men to seal the driveway. They came when they said they would and did a great job. I will definitely use them in the future. The men were professional and diligent in their work.

The end product is top notch. It took several phone calls before the actual price was agreed upon. (Their online ad stated they would match competitor's pricing.) Larry also cautioned me about the risks with a hot patch and my wheelchair, and did offer to do a twice-over with a cold patch. I went with the hot patch anyway. Never did get the Angie's List discount.

I was impressed. The owner came out to give us an estimate and pointed out a few things to correct next time we have the driveway laid. He gave us an estimate and was honest about his crews' availability. They were swamped, but managed to get to us the next week. Crew was polite and expedient.

They actually called us on a Saturday night to see if they could come on Sunday since the weather looked bad for the following Monday and Tuesday. They came, didn't bother us one bit and were gone quickly.

WHAT A GREAT FEELING IT IS, TO KNOW THAT THERE'S A COMPANY THAT CAN DO A JOB AROUND YOUR HOUSE AND HAVE THE JOB DONE BY THE TIME YOU COME HOME FROM WORK! THAT'S HOW IT IS WITH SEALKOTE CORPORATION OF ROLLING MEADOWS, ILLINOIS. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE A SMALL RANCH HOUSE WE LOVE WITH AN OLD BLACKTOP DRIVEWAY. WE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO REDO IT BUT WE LIKE TO KEEP THE BLACKTOP LOOKING GOOD. THE FIRST YEAR WE NEEDED THE WORK DONE WE CALLED ON SEALKOTE, AFTER SEEING SOME OF THE COMPANY'S WORK AS PERFORMED ON OTHER DRIVEWAYS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. WE ARRANGED A DATE FOR SEALKOTE TO COME. WE CAME HOME THAT NIGHT TO TAPE AROUND THE DRIVEWAY TO PROTECT IT FOR THE EVENING AND WE SAW A BLACKTOP DRIVEWAY THAT LOOKED ALMOST NEW! A SECOND CALL TO SEALKOTE TWO YEARS LATER BROUGHT THE SAME GREAT RESULTS: A GOOD LOOKING DRIVEWAY AND HASSLE-FREE PERFORMANCE! MY HUSBAND AND I RECOMMEND SEALKOTE TO HOMEOWNERS THROUGHOUT THE NORTHWEST SUBURBS.

THEY LEFT A CONTRACT PROPOSAL ON MY DOORSTEP. I CALLED ABOUT A MONTH LATER LEAVING A MESSAGE ON THEIR ANSWERING MACHINE. THEY DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY CALL BACK AND I FORGOT ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. ABOUT THREE WEEKS LATER, THEY CALLED BACK APOLOGIZING FOR THE DELAY. THEY EVIDENTLY HAD A HUGE BACKLOAD OF ORDERS AND WERE JUST CATCHING UP. THEY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS INCLUDING COST OF OIL STAIN REMOVAL (AN EXTRA $10) AND SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY. THEIR WORK WAS GOOD AND THEY LEFT MY RELATIVELY SMALL DRIVEWAY CLEAN. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN, ASSUMING THAT I DIDN'T NEED AN IMMEDIATE RESULT.
