Seal Kote came out to my house two days after I left a voicemail requesting a quote. The estimator was efficient and professional. He answered my quesitons and left me with a copy of the contract on the spot. They came out a week later to perform the work. The work was done within two hours and made a huge difference in the appearance of the driveway. The crew was careful not to get the tar on my house or landscaping. Overall, I think it was money well spent since it would have taken me longer to do and I dont think I would have done as nice of a job.

Very poorly. Mike proceeded to try to "scare" me into buying their services. He told me that I would get a "citation" if the work wasn't done and that he would come back later to make sure that the work was done correctly so there wouldn't be a "citation". Larry is the person in charge and he agreed that what happened was unprofessional. Larry also claims that he didn't know what had happened even though he was there. Really? I don't feel comfortable giving business to a company that is either unethical or when the person in charge doesn't know what his people are doing. The unfortunate part of it is that their price is very reasonable and I would have easily gone with them had they sold the merits of their work instead of using pressure sales tactics.

These guys are very neat and there was no mess on the adjoining concrete areas of our drive. They were very friendly and polite and professional. Once they coat driveway, they will send you a quote in 3-4 years; right at the time you are due for a re-coat. Their prices are fair and their willingness to send a quote in the mail shows that they are not afraid of competition. they did a great job on our drive and we will be using them again.

It went very well. I called for an estimate. Someone came out the next day. I called to schedule an seal coat. I was scheduled for the following week. I cam home in the evening and it was done. The work was excellent. There was no residue on my lawn. The driveway looked brand new. I will use them whenever I need my driveway done. I will also highly recommend them.

Seal Kote did an excellent job of sealing the driveway and repairing my neighbor's sunken area. The only fault I have is that they left my backyard gate open and my dog got out of my yard when my 85 year old mther let him outside. Luckily, a dog walker was visiting a house down the black and was able to get a leash on him and return him to my home. My mother hadn't even been aware that he had gotten out. I let the company know what happened and told them they need to remind their workers of the importance of making sure they close all gates. If you're not home when your driveway is sealed, I would recommend leaving a sign on your gate reminding the workers to close the gate when finished or your may not be as fortunate as I was in having your dog returned unharmed. Because of their carelessness in leaving the gate open, I gave Seal Kote a "C" for professionalism; otherwise, I think they did an excellent job.

I will not chase a contractor; there are too many out there willing to do the work. I went with someone else and will not call SealKote in the future.

I have used Seal-Kote a few times in the past, so I contacted Larry to do an inspection since last winter caused some damage to my driveway. When the inspector came, he marked three areas for infrared repairs and the proposal reflected that plus the usual biennial seal-koting. The workers when scheduled and did an excellent job of doing the infrared repairs. My driveway is now flat and looks great. About two weeks later they came to finish the sealcoating as Larry informed me that the infrared repairs need time to cure first. They came the day after this work was scheduled due to the rain. Overall, very happy with the job Seal-Kote has done.

They did a good job and it looks very nice. I like their services and will use the same in future.

I used them a year ago and was happy with the work so I just used them again. I was very pleased with the work they performed.

I was prepared to install a new asphalt driveway because of the cracks and irregularities in my 16 year old side drive. After discussions with several trades "specialists" (sarcasm) - my estimates ranged from $3k to $6,000. I noticed that although everyone tried to sell me on a new surface, most were also offering a price for sealcoating. I checked with Angies list and decided to give Larry - at SealKote a call. Larry was very reasonable and logical about my choices. He explained a certain means of sealing that involved a sand mix and a heat applied crack sealer for the deeper and problematic spots. Larry was honest about the eventuality of surface replacement. He said that I was not quite at that point yet. He came out and did a beautiful job of sealing the driveway. The cracks were sealed and the color was a deep black and uniform in color. My wife and I are extremely pleased with his honesty, integrity, and work. I highly recommend Larry and SealKote.

Larry returned my call and came to give an estimate quickly. He even brought his foreman out on Easter to show him the job. Several days later the job was done. I wasn't home when he came for his payment so my wife payed him. The next day I inspected the work and found that the clean out cover still wouldn't close. The asphalt around the cover was repaired but the cover was never leveled. They basically just patched the asphalt but didn't fix the problem. When I called Larry to see if he could rectify the problem he told me that he didn't realize that was what he was hired to do. First off that was untrue. It was the main reason I hired him. I explained to him that the cover wouldn't close because the asphalt had settled taking the cover with it. Second, if your job is to make the driveway useable, then why would you leave the job site with a big metal cover sticking out of it. Wouldn't you say to yourself, "A car is gonna have a hard time driving over that". Last time I talked to Larry he said he would come out and take a look, that was over two weeks ago. He's got my money so I'm sure I'll never see him or the money again. I'll have to find someone else to fix it and pay twice. So be sure to approve the work before you pay because I payed $500 for a driveway I still can't drive on.

Estimate performed within 1 day of request. Service done thoroughly. I had questions prior to service but after estimate about handling of cracks. Estimator came back out to review and said I didn't need, even though they could have done it and charged additional $50. (No overselling here!) Only issue was not knowing when the actual work would be done. "Next time truck is in the area" can be difficult to deal with, but it was within 10 days, so not too bad.

They did a great job overall. They were puncutal and professional. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, which was appreciated.

We moved into our home earlier this year, and the asphalt driveway had many cracks (some pretty significant) and probably hadn't been sealcoated in a while. We received 4 estimates, and I decided to go with Seal-Kote because they were the only company that offered the hot applied crack sealant (for an additional fee). I understand that hot applied crack sealant is more useful for larger cracks (maybe 1/2" or wider?), and it can expand/contract with pavement and stays pliable with seasonal changes. (That's what I read, anyway). Since we had some fairly wide cracks, we wanted to go with the hot applied sealant. I usually talked with Brian or Mark over the phone. Occasionally I would get the voicemail (presumably when they were on another call), but I'd just call back in a couple minutes and would get through. The one "glitch" we had was in scheduling. I called them on Thursday to say that we wanted them to do our driveway. They asked about the next day, Friday, since a crew was going to be in the area. I agreed, but then called back five minutes later to say not Friday (we were expecting guests over and didn't want to crowd the street with cars). They said okay, they'll call us to schedule another time. However, the next day around 4:30pm someone rings our doorbell and knocks loudly. I wasn't expecting anyone, and opened the door to find someone saying, "We want to do your driveway." I couldn't understand him at first, so he repeated himself. I thought it was a random asphalt company soliciting (we've been getting solicitations in the mail recently), until he handed me a sheet and I saw "Seal-Kote" at the top and realized who they were. Well, I was rather displeased that they just showed up on my doorstep without a call, and especially when I explicitly said NOT that day. But, we were no longer expecting company, and my husband and I decided it was okay to proceed. The team of two men did a decent job, and our driveway looks so much better. I'm satisfied with the result, though I wish communication top-down was better. Still, it worked out okay for us in the end.

I called for an estimate to get my driveway sealcoated. Within a few days someone came out and did an estimate. Included on the estimate was information about what they could do to level out the driveway where it is sunken near our garage door. I called back and scheduled to have both the sealcoating and the leveling done. Someone came out a few days prior to the scheduled date and marked the driveway where the leveling was to be done. On the scheduled date, I was home the whole day. Around noon I called and asked when they thought they'd arrive. The person who answered said he didn't know and that he'd have to find out for me and call me back. He never called back, and no one ever arrived. I waited to see if they'd contact me the next morning, but they never called back. I tried calling the next afternoon, got voicemail, and left a message saying they needn't bother rescheduling; I'd find someone else to do the work.

Went very well. Larry latter called back with plenty of advance notice that date had to be changed due to weather (rain) problems. The seal coating was performed on the new day he promised and at a time I requested (afternoon). The work site was left clean. There was no sloppy spillover onto adjacent concrete surfaces. Days later the drive still looks fine. No idea how long this will hold up; Larry estimated 2 years.

Went fine. They were here on time and did the job. They did leave some tar debris along the lawn.
