It has been a very good experience. They were very good, very polite and very nice. I will have them come out again. Their responsiveness and punctuality was very good. It was better than what I could have expected.

Jim responded promptly to my call and came out as soon as he could to fix a leaking toilet. He repaired it, explained what he did, and the likely cause of the leak. With a house full of guests arriving for the holidays, his prompt service was very much appreciated. I definitely recommend R&S.

Keith did a fantastic job of explaining and repairing the problem. He did a great job of cleaning up as well. I can't believe I am saying this but I actually enjoyed this plumbing experience. This is certainly a first.

We had a leak in an outdoor water spigot that was filling a 2 gallon bucket every two days or so. We were referred to R & S Plumbing by a handyman (Art Mate, who is also exceptional) who was initially called to make the repair but determined it would be better to contact a licensed plumber for the repair. R & S was contacted and after describing the problem recommended the entire spigot be replaced which unfortunately would require opening walls in a finished laundryroom. An appointment was made for a week later. On the scheduled date, Kieth from R & S arrived on time and assessed the problem. He recognized the replacement would require substantial damage to finished walls which we would rather avoid if possible. Sensing this, Kieth tackled the repair from the outside and was successful in repairing the leak without any collateral damage. He was patient, professional, courteous, and above all a genuinely nice guy. After the repair he took the time and volunteered to look at any other plumbing related problems we may have had. Although we had none, he took the time to answer myriad questions we had about plumbing in general and do's and don'ts in the event of various plumbing emergencies. Was probably the most pleasant experience we ever had with a tradesman. We would without hesitation use and recommend R & S in the future

I feel that Mike did a very good job & I was happy with his work. He does not like traveling too far from his shop and seemed like the far end of Schaumburg was a little too far from his spot in Rolling Meadows. After expressing that dissatisfaction, Mike turned very nice and helpful. He cleaned up after himself & did a great job. I would deffinatly use him again, if he would travel the 10-15 miles from his shop.

When Mark came to my hourse, he told my wife that he needed certain parts and went out to buy those parts. After a while he came back and fixed the faucet. It took him four hours to get the job done and we were charged $500. He did not give us an estimate before he started the job. We were quite shocked by the price but paid anyway, thinking the company is good according to angie's list. Not until recently, we had another plumbing isue and we hired a different plumbing company to fix the problem. The plumber told me that we were ripped of in a big way. The parts are common and very cheap, only cost $20-35 in Home Depot or Loews. And it is not that hard to fix the problem. The more I think about it the more upset I get. So I decide to post it here and let everyone know.

My initial call was answered promptly; a quote provided; and an installation appointment made all in a single phone call. He arrived exactly on time and went right to work. He was very personable and gladly answered all the quesions & concerns I had. He was pleasant, worked efficiently, and cleaned up all debris. I was very pleased with his professional attitude and I told him on the way out that, "You're my new plumber." I've already recommended him to a friend.

Phone call was answered promptly, apt scheduled for following week (not an emergency) to replace our garbage disposal. Service person arrived on time as scheduled. Almost immediately his tone was accostic, telling me where to stand etc if I was going to 'watch'. When finished I asked if he had time to repair the front faucet. We went to the faucet so I could show him the issue but he proceeded to undo the hose, turn on the faucet and tell me there wasn't anything wrong! At that point, I told him to put the hose BACK on, so I could show him the problem. He then complied, tested again and saw the problem. His scenerio to fix the problem was such that I told him to forget it... and that I'd get someone else. He then proceed to fix the problem and had is done in 10 minutes! Yes, I was charged extra. Move ahead two weeks. Doing dishes one evening, we discovered under the sink was soaking wet. Further we found that when we operated the garbage disposal, it sprayed water everywhere. This was late in the evening. I waited until next morning, call R & S and was grilled about why the leak just now showed up after two weeks! R & S came out first thing, still expecting to find nothing wrong... but alas, found that a bolt had not been tightened or a bracket was not in place. The repairs were done and R & S left. Good price, prompt repair and prompt re-repair. Customer Service: not so good.

Keith was on time and wore protective shoe covers. He diagnosed the problem quickly, got the parts he needed, and was back to install them in no time at all. He also did some minor caulking I asked for on the spur of the moment.

They were great. The guy was very efficient, personable, came when he said he would, and did a great job.

They were awesome. He came out the Friday that I had called & faster than I expected . He did a good job and we haven't had any issues since. The price was extremely reasonable; it was alot less than I had expected with all the work that he was doing. I’m happy with their services and I ven receommended him to my neighbor.

They accomodated me time-wise, were on-time, wore foot covers, considerate, knowledgeable.

everything went fine however we did not get the senior discount at first. we had to call for it. we were told that we needed to tell the installer this when he made out the bill. There was no indication on Angie's List that this needed to be done.

First he replace the switch to minimize the cost of the repair. Once that was done, the pump ran, but did not pump, so he had to replace the pump itself. All work was done in about an hour.

Amazing! See above. Just wish I had found them earlier when we re-did our kitchen. If we ever get around to gutting our master bath we will use Keith to put it back together!

They were reasonably priced and did a good job. They come out within a day of the call and work promptly. I like their services and will use the same in future.

Excellent, highly-skilled plumber who was easy to work with. He was able to handle all the problems that came his way that day and that is the differrence between a professional plumber and someone else.

Keith quickly determined that a toilet in our unit was not properly installed by a previous owner and was leaking into the bathroom celing of the unit below ours. He fixed it and then repaired the bathroom ceiling in the unit below. I was concerned that we would have to install dry wall, etc. Instead, Keith cut out a square of about 12 inches around the water damage in the ceiling, which was just above the shower head, and installed a plastic access panel in white - the same color as the bathroom ceiling. The owner of the unit below was very pleased with the repair and my husband and I were also. Keith is very professional, personable and easy to work with. We have used R & S before and will continue to do so.

Called R&S in the morning, hoping to make an appointment for later in the week. He was busy later in the week, so he came in an hour (!). Took the 6 boxes from Kohler with pieces to be installed and made sense of them, resulting in a beautiful shower to replace my leaky shower head. Also fixed toilet that was "running" and gave me advice on bathroom sink. Very personable and professional.

I called R & S on Saturday and indicated this was not an emergency. Nevertheless, Jim called early Monday morning to discuss the repairs I wanted done and gave me a Noon to 2:00PM window. I need to have an ejector pit cover replaced; mine was rusted out. I also wanted to have a Grohe shower cartridge replaced. Keith called to confirm in route around 12:20 and showed up at 12:35. He performed all the work, within 2 hours, in a friendly and professional manner. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and the professional demeanor Keith displayed.

They are very, very responsive. They are also personable. They came out on the same day. They are great. Keith is the one that usually does our work. I feel like they are very honest. They are appreciative of the business. They are the only plumbers we'd use.

R&S came out and replaced the faucet. Did the work fast and clean; very professional. Will have them out to replace our water heater when it's time. There is a reason you see all "A" on their Angie list reports.
