Great experience! When I was in the process of researching different water heater options in order to make the best choice for our house, R & S Plumbing was very helpful in answering my questions. They were very patient and even called the manufacturer to get additional information for me. The installation went smoothly with no problems. Jim was on time, worked quickly and cleaned up after the work was completed. This is the second time R&S has done work in our home. They are efficient, professional, friendly, reliable and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Competitors gave me useless information. He had all the tools and did a very good job! He was less expensive than competitors. I recommended him to my friend and she was very pleased as well.

It went great! He was professional, personable and quick. The plumber did the two drains and looked at some of the other ones while he was there (just in case). Also replace the gaskets for some leaky faucets. Really above and beyond for service. Angie's List really made a difference. We have had bad and expensive plumbers in the past and always ended up feeling ripped off. Not the case this time!

The gentleman was on time and very personable. However, he gave us his verbal estimate based on time and materials. When asked to put in writing, he advised that he would then have to give us a flat rate cost estimate, which was more. We were not comfortable that if we only went with his verbal estimate he would charge us less, especially on a time and materials basis. Which, on an old kitchen remodel is somewhat open-ended because you never know what is luring behind old walls. We chose not to go with this company because of the change in cost when asked to put in writing.

The work was performed quickly and professionally. When earlier calls finished sooner, I was called to see if I was interested in moving my appointment to earlier in the day and they arrived at the revised time. Everything done in less than 45 minutes. I was very happy with their service once again.

Called R&S in the AM & they responded by coming in the afternoon! Very pleased with everything with the work & professionalism & also took time to explain the work. Overall very happy with the choice!

I scheduled a Wednesday appointment to have an estimate provided ON A HOUSE I WOULD BE CLOSING ON TWO DAYS LATER. The secretary called me 1 hour before the appointment and asked if I could move it to Thursday between 1pm and 2pm because they had an emergency. I agreed. I received a call on my cell phone on Thursday morning but was unable to pick it up, so I called the number back. I started talking about the estimate and the plumber told me I wasn't supposed to call his cell phone but rather call the office. I told him I was simply returning his call. That's when he began to blow up at me. He called me because he went to the house MORE THAN 5 HOURS earlier than scheduled (WITHOUT CALLING ME) and ran into the current owner.He continued yelling at me saying he couldn't perform an estimate on a house that I didn't own. I told him that I had permission from the owner and all Realtors to be at the house DURING THE SCHEDULED TIME.He continued to yell at me, then PROCEEDED TO HANG UP ON ME!!!

Ron was very punctual, in fact he called to see if he could come a little earlier. At first there was a little confusion on what he was supposed to look at. But he and my husband worked it out and Ron quickly accessed the situation and found the problem. He was very professional and we will probably have him come back to do some other plumbing work.

That's the problem. Mark (the plumber) didn't know about garbage disposal but had one in an open box on the truck. He tried resetting it AFTER he uninstalled it. When he said the faucet was the problem I said "oh, does it need a new washer?" - he said, no, buy a new faucet. Then he said, oh, you could try calling Moen. He said the faucet had a broken vacuum seal. I told the Moen guy that - he said "put the plumber on the phone." Turns out they don't have seals - it was an O-ring (aka "washer"). This did not make me feel comfortable with Marks knowledge level. And I wonder - did I REALLY need the new garbage disposal? Or if he tried resetting it while it was CONNECTED maybe it would have worked....

I highly recommend this company as this is the second time that they have done work for us. They have been very responsive, easy to work with, and easy to trust.

Went well. Had problem afterwards, but came back to fix and didn't charge.

Fabulous. I've been burned so many times by other plumbers! But the R&S guys are the best!!!! I called them after hours and left a voicemail; they called me that evening just to get more information and schedule the visit for the next day. Courteous, honest, talented, and quick. I have a plumber for life!

He put it in on the 9th of January and it has been working great. All of the other plumbers have been wrong and he got the problem fixed. He is my new plumber. He saved me a lot of money, time, and trouble, and also guaranteed his work. The price was higher but he actually fixed the problem which is worth it.

We called in the morning of a sub-zero day and were here 2 hours later. He took off his shoes when he came in. He couldn't find the source of the leak right away and stuck with it until he did. Finally found it in the bathroom. Noticed that something on the shower needed a part and went ahead and fixed it. Hung out a bit to see if anything still leaked. It was nice that he was explaining things as he went along so there we were getting educated on the dos and don'ts at the same time. So nice and friendly. Would definitely call again!!

We were pleased with the results. The clean outs, the rodding out of the pipe from the kitchen sink, and the replacement of the pipe going through the floor by the washing machine had not been asked for by us, but were welcomed changes to the work being done. The job took just two hours to complete and the bill was less than the minimum estimate quoted.

He came immediately, was very personable and honest.

Great job. Didn't try and scam me for an entirely new ejector pump. Just the switch was defective. A difference of $300+ dollars that he saved me. Honest and prompt.

Excellent! For the past six months, whenever it rained heavily, the drain outside our laundry room back door did not drain and the water filled up the stairwell to the outside patio and leaked into the laundry room. Thinking this was a sewer drain, I tried Drano but it only got worse. I called on a Thursday morning and, in less than a half hour, Keith Durso called me back. During our phone conversation, Keith preliminarily (and correctly) identified this as a foundation drain and diagnosed that there may be a clog. He arrived right on time and found, after removing the drain cover, that not only was there a clog (of dirt and plant matter) but also an irreparable crack in the existing tile pipe. Keith quoted me an accurate price and, once I agreed, fixed the drain well within the hour. Keith took away all the old cement and pipe pieces and, even though we have had several heavy rains since, the drain has worked perfectly and our laundry room is completely dry!

Called for an appointment and was given an estimate, including the standard service call fee of $140 plus possible parts for faucet repair, if they turned out to be necessary. Jim showed up on time, was very profressional and & performed all 3 tasks within 45 minutes. The actual fee ended up being $140 dollars and all the work was done to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs.

I had an appointment for a Friday. It snowed a lot on that day. They called me to say that they would not be able to come (legitimate reason). They offered to come on the Saturday instead. I greatly appreciated that. Otherwise I would have needed to take a day off from work. Mark came on time and was very professional. Everything was completed smoothly and within time.

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DO SEWER REPAIR. We called them because we were concerned that our sewer was backed up. We specifically asked them whether or not they had the capacity to handle sewer work. They were vague and we were left with the impression they did. Unfortunately they can only rod out sewer thus when they hit a position that they could not rod any further, they simply charged us $240 and told us to get a sewer contractor. A little disappointing, wish they would have been more up front about their abilities.

Mark was prompt,friendly and efficient. He did an excellent job, This is the third time I've used R&S. Previously, there was a problem with a garbage disposal they had installed eight months earlier. They came out immediately and corrected it. I will use them for all my future plumbing work.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. The first phone call was answered promptly, an estimate was given, and an appointment was made. Mark, the service tech, was running late due to an emergency call. He gave me a courtesy phone call to let me know. In my initial phone call, I thought that both pumps needed battery back-ups. It turned out that only one of them did. Mark only installed what was necessary, which in turn saved me money. He worked very cleanly. He also took the time to show me each of the pumps and explained how to keep them working properly longer. He also took a few minutes to answer a laundry room question for me.
