Mark recommended and installed a new silent check valve which worked great. No "slamming" noise at all. He returned a day later and installed a new 1/2 HP sump pump. Unfortunately, later that same day I noticed leaking around the check valve that was not properly tightened. I called R&S and spoke with Keith who was at my house within 30 minutes and fixed the leak and took the time to adjust my back-up pump and test the entire system. So far everything is working great. Keith was very sorry about the leak and apologized several times for the inconvenience. Obviously, it would have been better not to have the installation problem, but I understand things like that sometimes occur. I was very happy with the immediate follow-up that rectified the issue. I've used R&S before with no problems. I believe in their quality, follow-up and fair pricing so if or when I need a plumber in the future, I plan on still calling R&S and I will still recommend them to others.

Work was done very quickly along with a couple of odds and ends we had taken care of in addition to the main problem. Very courteous and willing to please. Also very professional.

We tried several times to fix our leaky faucet but could not stop the problem. He came out the day after I called, looked at it for about 10 minutes and then said we should replace the faucet. It took about 10 more minutes to replace the faucet and we no longer have a leak.

I can't say enough about this company! I have never had service like this before. From the person that first answered my husbands phone call to Keith that fixed our broken pipes, everyone was outstanding. And all of the work was competed for just over $200! He was running a little late for the appointment but called several times to keep me informed and even said we would leave his previous appointment before he was finished if I needed him there immediately. Keith was friendly, informative and always considerate of my home. He took his shoes off whenever he came in and always kept the doors closed so we would not lose heat from inside. I will definitely use this compare in the future for any plumbing needs I may have.

I joined Angie's List last night and called them this morning and Keith came out this afternoon. Keith was courteous, cleaned up after and could not have been a nicer man. This will be our plumber, thank you Angie's List.

Jim was right on time for the scheduled appointment. I had made the appointment because I wanted the kitchen garbage disposal replaced. Jim assessed the situation and determined that I just needed a new garbage disposal assembly and the hose to the dishwasher routed correctly. Jim saved me the cost of a new disposal and completely fixed the problems I was experiencing. I haven't had a leak since. Jim was courteous and very experienced: he cleaned up under the sink before leaving. Overall this was a great experience and I would hire Jim again.

They were fine and he is now my plumber! They are really good about not taking advantage of me.

The serviceman (Keith) called ahead and said he would be two hours early - so we were off to a good start. He quickly connected and tested our stove. When I then asked him about the hot water heater, he took a quick look and it and gave very detailed descriptions of the options available to us in troubleshooting it. He carefully explained rates and what type of work would have to be done to find the problem. They charge $145 for the first hour, $90 an hour after that plus parts.

We called in and left a message and received a return call promptly the next day. My wife spoke with John and explained the problem we were having and John gave her a verbal quote of about $400. Keith came to perform the work as scheduled as was on time as promised. Once Keith looked at the job he told my wife the work would take a while and that he would have to go out and get some parts. He ultimately did that and completed the work. The total bill after a Senior Discount on the service was $570. The difference between the estimate and the final bill was attributed to the fact that the labor ended up being two hours rather than the one hour that John had anticipated. The work was done well, that being said we feel that we should have been given more specifics from Keith once he arrived so we would know that the ultimate bill would be about 43% higher than the phone estimate. Their website indicates that they do free estimates and maybe we are at fault for not asking Keith to do one.

I was very impressed with his work and knowledge.

If I have a plumbing problem I always call on them and would be willing to wait for them. However, they always come ASAP.

I was very pleased with the service. I had already purchased the disposal and faucets. The charge was mostly for labor but well worth it. The work was done efficiently and professionally and exactly when scheduled. I plan to call them again when I re-do my kitchen.

Overall they did a good job and I would use them again in the future.

I left a message with R&S on Sunday evening requesting service the next day, and they called me at 7AM Monday morning to schedule me. I was given a window of 12-4pm that day and Keith Durso arrived around 1pm. My main problem was a clogged kitchen sink. Keith took one look at the old galvanized plumbing in my kitchen and basement and said the best solution would be to replace the clogged section with PVC since all my clean-outs were rusted shut. He cut out the clogged section of old drain pipe and replaced it with PVC in about 2 hours. While he was here, he also repaired a leaking sink. Keith is a very knowledgeable and professional plumber. I could tell he cares about and takes pride in the quality of his workmanship. I will definitely call Keith and R&S Plumbing the next time I need plumbing work done!

I was very pleased with R&S. They worked with me to find the toilets I wanted which were all different brands. When one toilet was taking too long to arrive they agreed to cancel the order for that toilet and order another one from a different company. They also did a great job in installing the toilets. They were tidy and efficient. Keith even sealed the area at the base of the toilet where it meets the floor recognizing that I have 3 little kids who often have accidents close to but not in the toilet! The seal keeps the area much cleaner. I will definitely use them in the future.

Very timely with appointment. Investigated all items that needed it and let client know what did and did not have to be repaired.

No surprises. Work done as expected, when expected, and for the expected price.

I tried to locate the leak and could not so I called R & S plumbing. The employee they sent was able to find the problem and remove the leaking faucet. I had to order a replacement faucet and it was a three week wait for the part. When the part was available I called R&S again and the same employee that removed the faucet returned and installed the new part. The employee was very friendly and did his job quickly and cleaned up afterward. We have two dogs and he was very happy to let them watch his work.

Very happy with the work. Even talked me out of doing some additional work because it was unnecessary. This says a lot about their ethics.

I think these guys are absolutely fantastic. They are so courteous, reliable and prompt. They love what they are doing. They do it so well and I do not know what else to say about them. They are just fantastic.

R & S Plumbing Inc is terrific. They provide great feedback and responsiveness. We had wanted to do a tankless water heater and they showed and explained to us why that wouldn't be very practical in our situation. They were prompt and professional. They sold us a top-of-the line brand.

I had attempted to unplug the tub myself, but to no avail. I called my reliable plumber, and he came out right away and fixed the problem. I also appreciate that they take their shoes off when they enter our home. That shows how courteous and polite they are.

They were able to accommodate us fairly quickly and also got the problem taken care of in a short time. They were really good about cleaning up also. I would highly recommend this company for services.
