$99 deal turned out to be for about 15 minutes of actual work.

It went excellent. guy was prompt, fast and efficient. He was so good that I hired him approx. 2 months later to see why my clothes dryer wasn't getting hot. Fixed that problem in 30 minutes (needed new thermostat).

Technician diagnosed the problem and fashioned a solution that could be done that day and less expensively than if the official part were ordered.

Great. The gentleman who arrived was polite and responsive. I called at 8 a.m. he was at my door by 11 a.m. He called along the way to keep me posted. He needed to order a part so he returned 4 hours later to install the part. He explained all work in advance, outlining all the possibilities. I would call him again in a minute. I highly recommend this company.

He had me text him the model number and then called back to inform me that no parts were available. He spent time on the phone explaining what the cause of the problem could be but that I would be wasting my money on a service call because of the age of the stove. I'm leaving this review because he could have come out and charged me for a service call but instead saved me money.

We have an LG refrigerator that was getting an error code for the ice machine. Svilen came out the next day, explained exactly what the problem was, and had the part to complete the repair on the spot. After the repair was complete and he had left, he called later that afternoon to ensure the ice machine was working. Who does that? GSR does! We'd absolutely use them again.

Svilen from GSR responded quickly to my request for an appointment. The appointment was made at an acceptable time on a Friday and he showed up on time. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a faulty control module and made arrangements to obtain a replacement. The control module was no longer being produced by the manufacturer, however, there was a company on the south side of Chicago that provided remanufactured units. Svilen traveled to the company and returned later that day with the new unit. Unfortunately, the control unit didn't work correctly so Svilen made arrangements for the company to fix my original control unit overnight. Svilen arrived early Saturday morning to installed the fixed board. He followed up with me on Sunday to make sure that the refrigerator was operating satisfactorily. Due to his customer focus, I didn't have to discard any food. I definitely recommend Svilen and GSR for large appliance repair.

First, looked at dishwasher. He found that my Bosch was having a problem that would be covered by a recall. He walked me through calling Bosch and while he worked on my dryer, I was able to set up free service call from Bosch. Dryer was fixed quickly and efficiently. Motor was toast. Total around $400. Done in 45 minute.

Svilen diagnosed the problem and informed us that there was damage to the oven door and the hinges. He was very honest and forthright by telling us that the new hinges could fix the problem, but due to the door may also need to be replaced. He was able to correct the issue by replace the hinges and adjust the door, thereby avoiding costly replacement of the entire oven door.

Ran my dishwasher last night and the tub wouldn't drain. Called two other repair services. One couldn't be here for a week and the other didn't even return my call. Svilen answered right away and thankfully was able to fit me in his schedule. He arrived an hour and a half later, diagnosed the problem and now I'm back in business. Next time, he will be my first call.

I called Svilen thinking I would make an appointment for next week. he said he was close by and could do it now if I wanted. Now that is great luck! When he arrived he was very quick and efficient and had my fridge taken apart and put back together in about 45 mins, made my day! I asked how much I owed and it seemed reasonable for such quick service so I gave him and extra $40 for the good service. As he was leaving he noticed a thermostat for another cooler and asked about it. I said it was for an old Wine cooler that no one seemed to know how to fix. He said I will fix it where is it? I took him to it and in 20 mins had it back together with the new part in it. He said he was not sure if it would work for sure because the part was a different part then the original but said he thought it would. He seemed like he was not even going to charge me for the second fix as I had given him extra but I gave him another $40 because he made my day getting the damned wine fridge working. I have had several guys over the years come to my house to fix stuff and never felt compelled to keep there info for the next time. Trust me I have his card on the side of my fridge and he will be getting a call when I need another fix.

Came same day I called. Was an easy fix. He even fixed the control panel on the oven for no added fee! Thank you!

Svilen was incredibly responsive, helpful and thorough. He provided me tips to better maintain the fridge and tried to fix my ice maker without ordering expensive new parts. No pressure to upsell or have more work done. While turning off the water downstairs, Svilen even noticed that my (very old!) water heater was leaking and provided me a good referral and estimate for whenever I wanted to replace. Great guy, and I will definitely call again!
