The work was performed efficiently and effectively. Because the refrigerator compartment needed to be shut down, he carried boxes of food to a back-up frig in the basement. In addition, he took time and explained the need for each part he was replacing giving me important information that might be useful in the future. My SubZero refrigerator compartment has a new life and should last another years! Great Services Repair is well-named and I will always call them for problems with other appliances!

I called and left a voice mail with GS&R Appliances late in the afternoon on a Friday. Svilen called me back within a half hour and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. He arrived on time. Once we described the symptoms he determined that we needed to slightly reposition the unit to improve airflow and tighten the seal around the freezer door. He thoroughly explained to us how the refrigerator works, what kinds of symptoms occur when various conditions are present, and how to keep it running optimally. Technically he did not perform any repairs but, he gave us valuable info that corrected the problems ... all for the service call fee only. Svilen is a man of high character and knowledge of his trade.

Very expensive to "check" unit. Will look for cheaper repair service in future.

The part for the oven was in his truck and service was performed quickly. He then asked if anything else may need service and I mentioned my washer would squeal when stopping. He checked it and told me that no repair was immediately needed, that this could still function for months, even years this way and advised me not to do anything . He also commented that washing the rug (with rubber backing) that was in the machine at the time was not good for it. He suggested using a laundromat for that type of item to save the wear on my own machine. I really appreciated his honesty and that no pressure was placed on me to do this repair! About 5 weeks after the oven ignitor was replaced, it seemed to be malfunctioning again, so I called and set up a date for him to come out. Imagine my embarrassment when, upon checking, he found that I was omitting one of the steps on the touchpad and there was nothing wrong with the ignitor! When I offered to pay for a service call, he declined. Wonderful customer service! He will be fixing all my appliances from here on out, and I recommend you give him a try, too!

He was very knowledgeable. It's not easy to fit appliances in my laundry room. He spent considerable time with me giving me other options. He looked up new possibilities for me. I was very pleased with his service.

At first the contractor suspected the ice maker was malfunctioning and he brought a replacement one, but that didn't fix the problem. Attempted with another replacement in case the replacement ice maker was faulty. That didn't work either. He then reset the computer on the refrigerator and my own icemaker started working. The technician was very knowledgeable about the refrigerator, very professional in analyzing and solving the problem, and courteous. Although it took a couple of trips, he always called before coming and was on time.

Called Great Service and Repair for my dryer. Svilen answered immediately and told me he would call back in 15 minutes since he was just finishing with another customer. Returned my call within 15 minutes, was at my home in less than 30 minutes. Repaired the dryer. Loved the great response! Very knowledgeable. Definitely would use again if needed. Called Great Services and Repair. Reached Svilen right away and he set up time to come to my house later that same day. He had me text picture of model number to him. Arrived at my house on time, figured out the problem right away and had the right part. Replaced the ice maker in no time and explained to me why it had stopped working. He followed up with phone call later to ensure I had ice. Great service.

Outstanding.! Previous repairman misdiagnosed and could not supply part needed. This excellent company, quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem had the parts with him and repair was complete. Much relieved. Definitely going to hang on to his business card.

We called G.S.R. Appliance Repair in the morning, Svilen answered (no answering machine) and came out as promised that morning. He fixed the dryer, explained how to avoid it from happening again. He also told us he thought it the panel would have to be replaced in about 2 years. Excellent response and completely satisfied with the repair. We'll definitely call again if we need service on any of our appliances.

Our Dryer went out Thursday night. Friday morning I called Svilen. Friday afternoon he arrived. Friday afternoon Dryer was fixed. Very professional. Very responsive. A bit pricey. But again, same day service. Totally satisfied.

The machine has run for a good year since, with no known problems. If I remember correctly, he was not happy that I then made the appt through Angie's site, which, I think, took a fee out before paying him. Other than that, it seemed to be a good experience.

When setting up appointment, they asked for the make & model of refrigerator. He brought the replacement part to the first visit, so no need for a return visit which was fantastic. Installed new ice maker and we had ice just a few hours later! He even called later in the day to make sure it was producing ice.

Very responsive and punctual. He seems like he had good experience in repairs. He checked the microwave and it seemed to be working using other outlets, so he recommended an electrician to check for circuit breaker or outlet replacement. Although there was no microwave repair required, the price for a repair call including repair labor if needing repair is worth it.
