Fabulous! I contacted the company and within two hours he arrived at our house and within 30 mins the problem was fixed with a new part. He knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I was very impressed with his communication of when he’d be arriving and then once he got there, he went straight to work but took the time to explain what was wrong, what could have caused it and then fixed it. He vacuumed the vents of the fridge and behind it. He was very nice and I would recommend GRS!

Svilen provided excellent service. He answered my call immediately, came to my house in less than an hour, diagnosed the problem, and fixed the dryer quickly and efficiently. He also advised us as to why the problem occurred and how to prevent it in the future. We will definitely use him again.

Svilen arrived within two hours after I contacted him. He gave me an estimate on the cooktop and oven fan parts and repair. (Glasstop is cracked, and replacement part expensive, but Svilen offered to look for less costly alternatives.) I may replace the range, since the parts and repair costs are close to the cost of a new range. In the meantime, Svilen replaced the leaking washing machine hose. He was polite and knowledgeable, worked quickly; I will definitely use him for other work as it comes up.

Svilen answered my call around noon and arrived around 2:30 PM. He was polite and more than competent: knowledgeable, concise, informative, efficient and neat. He used up-to-date equipment for a correct diagnosis, de-iced my refrigerator's blocked air duct, replaced the faulty electronic circuit board, and made sure that all was operating properly -- all within an hour. Price was fair. I will recommend him to my friends.

Svilen did an excellent job replacing the switch, despite the difficulty in getting to it. He found the out-of-stock switch (no longer made) from a South Side supplier, went to get it and then scheduled the time to replace it. A little expensive, but pleased with the end result. Thank you.

I called Svilen this week as my refrigerator had stopped working. He was able to come out the same day, discovered the two causes and fix the issues all within an hour. He was extremely professional and charged a fair price. He is highly recommended.

This company responded very quickly and was able to come the same day, which I was very happy about. However, the repairman that came (I think he said Frank) was nothing but rude once he entered my home. He asked me why my husband changed out the hoses (not in an interested way, but implying that it was stupid to do that), why we had a stackable washer and dryer when he saw plenty of room for both a washer and dryer, and said he “couldn’t believe” the plumber that was at our house earlier “couldn’t figure out what was wrong.” I finally told him that I didn’t want to fight with him (everything he said was “barked” at me with a condescending attitude) and said that I did not appreciate the way he was speaking to me; there was no need for him to come into our home and try to make us feel stupid. He apologized and blamed it on his “Eastern European sense of humor”. I can assure you that at no time was he trying to use humor, he was simply rude. I told him that we just needed our washer to work correctly and asked him if he wanted to fix it. He said he did and proceeded to change out the hoses (which he said were the wrong kind - made for commercial washing machines, not residential). It took him all of 15 minutes and we were charged $150 (which we feel was high). He did not put booties on his feet or protect the surface of my washing machine from his tools (I brought him a towel and asked him to put his tools on top of that). Overall, he was disrespectful and rude and I would not use this company again.

I called Svilen around lunch time, 2 hours later he was here and replaced the oven ignitor. It took less than a half hour & cost $200 (part & labor/trip) He was very helpful & professional about calling back & arriving promptly, He's checking into finding a switch for my stove hood, as one side won't light up. Would definitely recommend GSR Appliance Repair to anyone who appreciates getting something repaired instead of replaced-- without the multiple appointments for them to send out someone knowledgeable, and without a sales pitch to buy a Home Appliance Warranty.

Svilen came out right when he said he would and repaired it within 30 minutes of being here. He knew exactly what the issue was and had the part available right in his truck. I would highly recommend him and Great Services and Repair again. He was so friendly and helpful and responsive. They will be my first call if anything goes wrong in the future.

Svilen responded quickly, arriving the same day. He attempted to repair by cleaning out the motor, and was unable to resolve the issue with this step. He advised against replacing the motor due to the cost of the part vs the cost of the machine. He only charged us the $89 service fee for his time and effort. We appreciate his honesty in evaluating and attempting to resolve the issue.

I called on Tuesday, Svilen answered my call immediately and came out on Wed. He gave me a time and called beforehand to advise he was available earlier which worked perfectly for me. He called before coming over as he stated he would. He got right down to business and assessed the issues. Took less than an hour for the evaluation. All 3 appliances are ~20 years old so he advised to take no action since the cost of repair would not be worth it. They would continue working with the existing issues probably for some time until replaced. The cost of the evaluation was totally worth having the expert input and advise. Will definitely use GSR again!

The service man came on time and was professional. He had asked for the model number of the refrigerator and what was not working when the appointment was made. He came with the needed parts and fixed the refrigerator's icemaker quickly and efficiently.

He did a great job fixing our appliance and explaining what went wrong.

Svilen returned my call within 10 mins. and was able to come the same day. I had a working washer in 20 mins. I would definitely call him again.

Svilen was great. Called him at 9:00 am, he called right back. He figured out what part was needed over the phone. He got the part before he came, and brought it with. Arrived at 1:00, was done by 1:20. Dishwasher working great. Responsive, reliable, friendly, professional. What more could you want?

We had another great experience with this company. This time, service was performed on a washing machine at a new house. The estimated fee was spot on. Svilen was timely and professional. I would highly recommend and look forward to my next experience with GSR.

We called G.S.R. and Svilen was able to come out that same day to fix it. During the initial phone conversation he had asked for the model number to ensure he would have the right parts on hand when he got here, I think this is the first time anyone has actually done that upfront. He showed up within the arrival window, and called ahead to let us know he was on his way and how long it would take him to get there. After looking at the unit he thoroughly explained what the problem was, what the solution was and the price. No signals were going from the control panel to one of the key components in the freezer, which in turn was affecting the upper cooling area. He cleaned the freezer unit of frost buildup on back wall and replaced the control board and the refrigerator is running fine now. We are very pleased with the work and so happy he was able to come that same day.
