 + -1 moreSvlen Gadzhov answered our call for repair and stated he would call in the afternoon to give us a time when he would be able to come and check out the wash machine.. He called and stated he would be here in 45 minutes and he was on time. (heavy rain and all). He check the machine and found 2 problems and gave us an estimate that was more then the machine was worth. He gave us his suggestion that we took.We found him to be honest and professional. We would and will recommend GSR to our family and friends.

 + -1 moreI can not begin to tell you how professional and knowledgeable Svilen is. He not only went above and beyond what he originally came out to do. I contacted him Thursday night, he contacted me within 15 minutes and squeezed me in Friday morning. I have been married almost 50 years and have experienced MANY Repair men. I have NEVER been this impressed with ANYONE, like Svilen. He not only takes pride in what he does; he leaves your home cleaner then when he started his repairs. I am sorry that a 5 is the highest rating; I would of given him a 10. As far as price; he was MORE THEN RESONABLE! When I have another problem with an appliance (and I am sure I will); I will definitely call Svilen.
Description of Work: Svilen (Service Technician) originally came out to repair one drawer of my double drawer dishwasher. After carefully taking apart the components it became apparent that this was going to be a very costly repair. New motor, the part that the motor sets into , new gaskets etc. The cost of the parts were much more than half of the cost of the dishwasher( in 6 months the other drawer might stop working). The unit was 10 years old. Svilen asked if I had any other appliances; My Gladiator freezer stopped working and my food was defrosting. Svilen knew what the problem was right away. He took apart the unit and it was the fan. He made some phone calls and located the part. Svilen actually came back late afternoon and fixed it. It is running perfectly! I asked him if he knew a plumber; he asked why and I told him that my bathroom Faucet was shooting water everywhere so we turned off the water in that room. He took a look at it and said it was a compression leak that could not be fixed and because of the quality of the fixture he said the company would probably replace it for free. Svilen took everything apart and handed me the part. The company is replacing the faucet at no cost.

 + -1 moreThe large appliance repair Angie's List deal was $99. When I bought the deal I was sick. Mr. Gadzhov called me right away. I rescheduled twice because I was sick - Mr. Gadzhov was very understanding. On the appointment day, Mr. Gadzhov arrived promptly. He went right to work, diagnosed the dryer, warned me about some other problems, fixed the heat and repaired the door in twenty minutes. I asked him to take a look at my frig doors if he had time. He went right to work, took the doors off, wrangled them back into the proper placement, warned me about too much stuff on the doors, and done in ten minutes. I've had Sears repair out before - took a long time, tried to sell me a warranty, tried to sell me more parts. I'm so happy with the Great Service & Repair, and Mr. Gadzhov. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: My dryer would tumble but would not get hot. Mr. Gadzhov fixed the dryer by replacing a part. He also replaced the dryer latch. I asked him to take a look at my refrigerator doors, which didn't close properly. Mr. Gadzhov fixed the freezer and frig doors.

He was extremely professional and courteous, and really knew his stuff. He took the time to explain the issue, and even looked up replacement part options online on our behalf. He was honest about the issue and gave us a very forthright recommendation. We would definitely use him again in the future - anytime anything that plugs into the wall is on the fritz!

 + 0 moreSvilen is very responsive and considerate. He knows what he's talking about and doesn't try to sell you services you don't need. He was very quick and effective in fixing our problems, and provided useful information too. The price listed above includes parts -- a new large meat drawer lid and the part that attaches it to the refrigerator. Not sure what the going rates on this type of service are. Seemed a tad high, but it may be competitive. We would definitely use Svilen again.
Description of Work: Recalibrated our two ovens and replaced a broken drawer lid set-up on our refrigerator. He also took a look at our garage refrigerator and our hot water heater -- just for assessment. No work done on these.

 + -1 moreSvilen promptly scheduled an appointment when I called about my refrigerator's ice maker, which had stopped working. He found that the ice maker was not fully filling because of a bad valve in the water supply line, which he replaced. However, the fridge was suffering from a larger problem, a bad evaporator, which was preventing it from cooling down adequately. He recommended that I not get that repaired due to the very high expense (I found a new fridge on sale for about the same as the repair would have cost.) Highly recommended.

 + 0 moreSvilen was fantastic. I called him on 6/10/15 and asked if he could possibly make a service call the next day and his reply was "do you want me to come out today?" I was shocked that he was able to come out the same afternoon. He called about 20 min. prior to our agreed arrival time to tell me he was on his way. He arrived on time. He took the time to explain to us what parts of the dryer he tested and even how the dryer works so we would know the function of the part he was replacing! He was very courteous and I would highly recommend him for appliance repairs. I called another appliance repair company and they gave me a quote of $165 for service call and diagnosis (the cost of parts/labor would add even more expense.) I'm "happily" doing laundry again and able to get our clothes dry! Thanks Svilen!!

 + 0 moreSvilen was very knowledgable, friendly and professional. He checked over my dryer and showed me the working parts and made sure I understood everything he was checking over. The installed new coil valves to help the dryer heat up better and advised me to have the dryer vent cleaned out. He said that was by biggest problem causing the drying not the heat up properly. He was nice enough to call me back a few hours later to inform me of a Groupon he had found for dryer vent cleaning at $49. Svilen was fantastic! I will be calling him in the future if any of my other appliances need servicing!

 + -1 moreI've used these guys multiple times for my rental property and they never disappoint. Not only are they very professional and customer service oriented but he is also work quickly. I had problems with my freezer, washer, and dryer. Each time I emailed Svilen with the problem and He got the necessary parts ready for the visit so he can take care of the problem same day. He work around my schedule and have arrived in his estimated time window every time. The icing on the cake is their reasonable pricing. I've never felt like I overpaid for a job. As long as these guys are around, I won't be using anyone else.
