Very well. The installers, Joe A, Chris, and John were very polite, immediately responsive to all questions and concerns, and worked continuously and diligently from 9 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. to complete the project in one day. John was also very responsive in solving an electrical problem with our second system while installing the replacement of our primary system. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this team as well as Al who was most informative and helpful as we shopped for the replacement system.

Jon showed up in the time slot given. He was very professional. Was very thorough in explaining and showing me the issues with my furnace. Work was done quickly and at a fair price. Would recommend John and American Star to everyone.

American Star has been doing the maintenance on our HVAC system for years. We are very pleased with their service overall. We recently had to change our furnace, they were very competitive, even compared to Costco and factoring in the membership discount/cash back. I highly recommend, they are a pleasure to deal with.

Adam has service our heating and air units before. His work is always spot on the first time. He is knowledgeable in his field and always has a word of advice when he feels it is useful.

I have never been dissatisfied with them.

They replaced a combustion sensor and did some other work. I was disappointed that they wiped out any savings because of the dispatch fee.

From scheduling with Carol, to Jon G the service person the company did awesome. I called this morning, and they were able to accommodate my schedule and came out this afternoon. Jon serviced the AC unit and everything went great.

Service men arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The ducts were long overdue for cleaning so they had to do more work than might be normal but they were very thorough and took care to clean up any debris that remained.

These guys are really good. We had to do a complete replacement of the AC unit and blower in a pretty old house. The estimate was reasonable, they made a few suggestions from minor fixes to full replacement. They're probably not the cheapest but we went with them because they seem to really know what they're doing, and they are responsive and professional. We got an appt for an estimate quickly, and we got on their schedule quickly. The guys who did the work were young but very professional. They spent 2 days here (staying late on a Friday night and coming back early to finish, over a holiday weekend nonetheless) to work through a tricky blower replacement in the attic. They were very good about blocking off areas while they worked and cleaning up after themselves. Everything was left clean and new AC is working great. I am always impressed by outfits like this that seem to care about their reputation and their work. These two servicemen were great, very nice, very professional, and two of the hardest working guys we've ever had in our house. I would highly recommend American Star.

It was good. The price was a little higher. They were great and I have no problem with them.

Installation was done in February so they had to schedule at a later date to certify the proper operation of the A/C which was done to my satisfaction. This was and continues to be a seamless installation. The new furnace has dropped my gas bill and the house is also much cooler now during the hot summer months. The blower is much quieter during both heating and cooling.

The helpful technician took special care to make sure I understood everything I needed to understand, including some tips on furnace care. Performed the big deal service I contracted for.

Work went very well. After initial inspection, they ordered blower parts and arrived on-time to install. I was very pleased by how well the furnace worked after their service.

He cleaned it, but didn't take the top off, where all the dirt and leaves accumulate (which included a few screws being unscrewed) so my husband & I had to do that. It was a simple visit.

On the annual inspection of my furnaces (have two in my home), I was informed that my 25 year old furnace had finally bit the dust. I had just replaced my other furnace last winter, and I had found out that the humidifier had been improperly installed, and so I needed to find another HVAC contractor. I probably had 7 bids for the job, all prices were around the same, with a couple being extremely high. American Star was in line with everyone else. But after having the humidifier on my other furnace installed incorrectly, I really was looking at a company that was around awhile and with a good warranty. They are also Bryant certified which was important to me. They did a good job installing the unit and retrofitting for the higher efficiency furnace. I am happy with the work, the price, and the warranty that comes with it (1 year warranty, 2-10 year extended parts and labor warranty).

I thought that they were gonna do a little more for the $60. I thought the guy was gonna give me some Freon that was part of it because the deal said tune-up. I kind of thought that it should have been more for that if it was a special that they could have shot some Freon. It turned out that I have to get rid of that air conditioning anyway. I thought the price was misleading. I didn't get what I expected. The guy that came was a young man and the service sometimes is different when they were experienced providers.

The technician arrived ahead of schedule!! He was very detail oriented and thorough. Our units are quite old and he was honest about their condition and potential longevity but did NOT turn into a pushy salesman! Felt like he was trustworthy:)

I got same day service, within approximately 3 hours of my initial call and on a 95 degree day! The scheduler was lovely and the technician, Marty was professional & quickly determined the a/c coil needed to be replaced. I also used a coupon! Very satisfied with this local company which I would never have used, had I not signed up for Angie's List today.
