Everything went great. Jon Baker came out to do the estimate and discussed options with us. He was the only one of three companies that agreed fixing the crack rather than putting in a drain tile system and sump pump was a reasonable solution. He returned a month later to do the repair which was quicker than other companies as many people had water in their basements that summer. My husband was supposed to have gained access to the crack before he arrived and it turned out the crack wasn't where we thought it was. I called Jon to see if he wanted to reschedule. Instead of rescheduling he came over at the scheduled time to see if he could help find the crack. By the time he arrived we had found it, but he still helped us finish getting the crack exposed so that he could do the repair without complaint. Now, almost a year later this has been a great solution. No water in the basement and with the horrible rain we've had this week I'm not worried that we will ever see any water in the basement from this crack. Oh well, I'm happy not to need to use the 25 year warranty.

Installation took 2 days as predicted. They left the place clean at the end of each day. Amount of dust was low. They hauled away all refuse. Job was well done.

They were middle of the road with price but offered guarantee over the cheaper guy. Didn't try to up sell aggressively and when they did the job, it was quick and professional. Was clean but could've used another mopping but otherwise has been working well. We called a week later because we didn't like the sump pump drain pipes sticking out, the cost to bury them was low, they came back in no time and got the job done fast. great personal and professional service.

We were very pleased with the results. Dry Otter showed up on time and actually completed the work in one day instead of the two they originally estimated. They took measures to minimize the amount of dust by hanging tarps in the work ares and running blowers to control the dust as they worked. The also did a great job of cleaning up afterward, including taking away all of the debris. Other than mopping to clean up the unavoidable thin coating of dust that was left, there was nothing for us to clean. The only "problem" we had was with one of our dogs. The noise from the jackhammering freaked him out and he ran to find a hiding spot. It was a good one, too, because it took us over an hour to find him. I recommend getting yourself and your pets out of the house while the jackhammering is in progress if possible. It is quite loud. We have not experienced the weather conditions that cause our basement to get wet since the system was installed so I don't know if it works; however, I have no reason to believe it won't.

I was on a sales trip to South Dakota. My wife was greatly impressed as to the quality of workmanship the entire crew demonstrated. It went well they showed up on time and did a good job.The only thing is for everyone to know is that this is a very dusty possess even tho they had a air filtration system on. If you don't want everything covered in a layer of dust cover. things up! The dust also worked its way up stairs.

They were in and done by 1pm and they came at 8am. They were very quick and neat. Overall they did a great job. They also filled in one crack with an injection and there was one little glitch which they came back right away to fix.

Dry Otter arrived a little early and remained parked on the street until the agreed upon start time. 5 or six guys did the work and it was raining pretty hard. They made an effort to lay down floor protection for their route to the basement. The room done was about 50 feet of this system. During the non- stop storms that came in May and June the system worked to a t. No water intrusion and it discharged out onto my lawn. The best thing about Dry Otter is the co-owner Nick Labansky. He was easy to talk to, straight to the point and never acted rushed or tried to upsell me. He was prompt and very professional. You could not ask for more responsive business practices. Before the job was done Nick came back to my home for a re-inspection due to some questions I had. I never felt that he had anything but my best interests at heart. That is the highest praise I can give a vendor. I only wish he did every other imaginable home maintenance or repair service as I would hire him just based on his integrity. I really feel the other basement services acted slightly shady compared to Dry Otter. Highly recommended!!

They were professional and prompt. The provided use of interactive media to help us understand our situation. They didn't seem to have a solution that would meet our particular issues as well as another company did.

He drilled 3 holes in each of the 2 sections of the slab then proceeded to pump in the material which raised it up. It took about 45 minutes to an hour. Very quick and efficient. Questions were welcome and answered with notable knowledge of the work being done. We were given instruction not to drive over the area for a short time. It looks great and sure is nice not to have to drive over the huge bump that was there. Cost of work came in under estimate.

Nick at Dry Otter was great to work with, as well as the entire crew. He provided a VERY reasonable quote for the work done and was prompt about returning my calls and answering questions. Their quote came in thousands of dollars less than others we had received! They arrived by 7:30 in the morning and were done by 1:30pm, having completed the work and cleaned up in the basement. They were very careful about making sure they didn't make a mess in other areas of the house. The 5 workers that fixed the basement were all very friendly. It went even better than I had hoped. I would recommend Dry Otter to anyone who needed basement work!! Thanks!!

I have nothing but positive things to convey about my experience with Dry Otter. First, I obtained estimates from four different basement waterproofing companies, all from Angie?s List, and Nick from Dry Otter was without question the most professional, knowledgeable, and, frankly, the brightest person to come to my home and discuss the problem, the product his company provides , and, most importantly, how the system Dry Otter installs will solve the problem. Second, I decided to remodel the basement and needed the project done quickly, so there were a lot of other contractors working in the basement at the same time. Dry Otter is the only company involved in the basement work I am 100% comfortable and satisfied with both in terms of the work product and the competence of the workers. Third and last, because of the larger scope of the project, I have had to call Nick with questions and concerns about other work being done in the basement and the impact it has on the vapor barrier Dry Otter installed. Dry Otter?s work was done and had been paid for in full, and Nick could have easily been unresponsive. Nick was just as responsive to my multiple follow-up phone calls as he was to the initial sales call, and he took time to talk to the other contactors (several of whom commented about how great Nick was to work with) and work through the questions. In summary, I highly recommend Dry Otter and the system they install. The only downside to Nick and Dry Otter is that, after working with them, other service providers seem incredibly mediocre. My basement is completely dry, and I have complete confidence it will stay that way.
