Description of Work: I was needing to purchase a certain type of landscaping gravel and went to Benson Stone. The salesperson was very helpful and informative. I had brought several buckets to fill and take home. The yardman helped me fill the buckets and place them in my vehicle. It wasn't a major purchase but Benson did take care of my need.

Description of Work: We purchased 2 recliners on sale. They only had 2 left nd they were 2different colors. We had to find someone to help us as no one offered. We talked to this sales person who checked to see if we could get 2 of the same color.we could and we put half down on the 26th of January.we were told it would be 6-8 weeks for them to come in. So far so good. After 8 weeks , I called this sales person and she said they were not here but she would check into it. A week later, she called and said only one chair came in. The other would be in the weekend after Easter. I had wanted them for the holiday and my brother'svisit. I waited another 2 weeks and again called the sales person. She again told me she would look into it. Finally she called us on the 21st of April and said it was there,that the warehouse department would call and we could come in to pick it up. We waited till Thursday and I called Benson and asked for the manager. He listened and said that usually the department head would be the one to talk to. I got the feeling he wasn't very happy that I had reached him. About a half hour later I did get a call from the department head and he said they would deliver the chair free of charge. All in all, we waited for just over 13 weeks and received 50. 00 off both chairs. The chairs are of good quality but the service stunk. All my company was gone and the holiday was over without my new chairs. This sales person did not follow up on this order and the order ended up wrong. I have worked in customer service myself and I find this company lacking in good service.
