Although we ended up going with a different company to build our deck, I had an excellent experience with Warner's Decking. I am certain their work would have been of excellent quality, and their pricing was competitive. Likewise, their professionalism made this a tough decision. It boiled down to timing - the one other company that I felt would also do excellent work was able to get the deck started/finished sooner.

Chris inspected and measured current cedar deck and saw immediately what the problem was - the original deck installation company had used tongue-in-groove boards for the deck skirt and so there was little to no ventilation under the deck. This is causing the deck to rot from the inside out. I had seen the good reviews that Warner's Decking had received on Angie's list so I was happy to have them come out and offer an estimate and see their Trex product. After receiving estimate from Chris, I told him that replacing the deck was one option we were considering along with possibly removing the deck completely and replacing with brick pavers or concrete. Chris offered some ballpark figures on these options so it was easy to make a comparison. Unfortunately, the cost of replacement was beyond what I can afford at this time. If I had the money to replace with the Trex product I would do it in a heartbeat and would definitely use Warner's Decking.

Chris Warner was the first contractor who came out to our house to give us an estimate. He was very professional and we felt very comfortable with what he had to say. Initially, we wanted a deck with a rounded front on the back of our house and he has all of the equipment to do what we wanted. Upon checking his references, everyone spoke very highly of him and of the work done by his company. To be perfectly honest, the job was between him and the contractor we chose and I would not hesitate to call him again if we needed work done.

We had looked at several different companies and decided to go with Chris because of his excellent reputation. Chris designed a 1070 sq. ft. deck that not only surpassed expectations, but surpassed our wildest dreams! He came out in October 2010 and looked at the area, we told him what we wanted and he said we'd be first up come Spring 2011. Chris and his crew showed up as soon as the weather broke and finished our deck in about 3 weeks. It is absolutely the best deck I've seen and it's solid. The craftsmanship, expecially around the pool is phenominal. They went above and beyond on every single aspect of our deck. From the amount of footings dug to the materials used. Everything is perfect. I would expect that the deck will be standing long after the house falls over! His crew was prompt, courteous and clean. Their workmanship is unsurpassed Chris and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with We now have a deck that is the envy of the entire neighborhood Warner's Decking is the only choice for decks.

Chris Warner is very experienced and knowledgeable about the business. He appears to enjoy what he does and relates very well to his customers. He was a pleasure to work with. Very trustworthy -- an extremely important attribute when choosing a contractor.

It went very well. They were professional and very customer service oriented. They always kept me up to date on the progress of the project.

The experience with Warner's went very well overall. Since we have not decided which route we are going to go with our deck, we are still considering Warner's. They seem to be very professional and after viewing our neighbor's deck (from Warners) they seem to do great work.

The project went very smooth. Chris and his workers were great to deal with. Their attention to detail was great. I would use them again.

It was fine. Chris was easy to work with and came back and gave me his ideas. I told him what I wanted and he gave me some input. He showed me a book of his work--gave me ideas off that of all kinds of decks he has built for people. He sent me the contract in an email with little sketches he'd drawn up for me. We did the estimate right on the spot and he was very efficient doing that too. ($11,500.00)
