They did a Great Job

We were very impressed with Joseph James. They gave us an estimate promptly. They told us that we needed two extra downspouts, which is exactly what our house inspector told us and what we assumed we'd need given the clogs in the existing downspouts. The estimate included gutter brackets at 12-18 inch intervals; our other estimates quoted much wider intervals. Their price was comparable or less than other companies from whom we received estimates. The work was done in the time frame they said it would be done even though it was a busy time of year for gutters. They cleaned up all the debris. The gutters look great and appear to be pitched well. Best of all, they returned all phone calls promptly and were available when we had questions. We're very pleased.

This was the largest job for our remodeling firm and they have since done other smaller jobs. They are extremely attentive to the customers needs, often coming at odd hours when asked and the situation calls for them. Quick responses. Arrive and complete work as promised, or sooner. I don't even go out to get quotes for this work. They will get it all.

Joseph-James installed a roof on our home in 1996. Had there been an Angie's List back then, I would have rated them ''A'' in all categories. Last March, I noticed a wet spot in the ceiling of my second floor bathroom and thought I had a roof leak. I called Gary King, and he promptly came over. He inspected the roof and crawled around in the attic with me searching for the source of the leak (no easy task as the attic is difficult to access, lacks a floor, and has low clearance). Gary determined the problem was a leak in a connection on the plumbing vent stack inside the attic that leaked whenever it rained. I caulked the connection which at least for now has solved the problem. I was very impressed with Gary's responsiveness in helping me find the source of the problem. The company was great 10 years ago when they put a new roof on our house and still is. I highly recommend them.
