It was a pleasure working with Jack and his assistant. My job required the use of Ardex products to repair a stair that was cracking. 2 other contractor that looked at it were not familiar with Ardex and wanted to tear out the entire stair. Jack is a specialist with Ardex. He explained the limitations of the products and what he felt needed to be done to do a good job. Upon removing the bad concrete some of it had to be replaced but the extra charge was reasonable and understandable. He followed through with every promise he made and showed up on time. He completed the job within the time frame discussed. Very knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced concrete contractor. I would definitely call Expert Concrete Solutions again for any future concrete projects.

Jack came out to provide an estimate for the pouring of a concrete slab. Is estimate was very competitive and he was able to complete the work within one week. He and his crew were very professional and did a great job on our concrete. They were also very careful with sprinkler lines, wires and a drainage pipe located within the work area. I would recommend Expert Concrete Solutions without any reservation to people looking to have this type of work done.

From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to work with Jack and his crew. They all were as nice as could be, but nice doesn't cut it if the work isn't done right. Unfortunately, weather got a bit in the way of getting the job done when I had hoped it would be done. Clearly that wasn't Expert Concrete Solutions' fault, yet Jack apologized for the inconvenience. Can't praise this company enough and may go to the expense of getting the rest of my driveway repaired next year by them. Only problem I had was that he didn't honor the 10% discount coupon I had downloaded that was on Angie's site. He said he didn't know anything about the coupon. He did, however, give me the senior citizen discount that was also mentioned. That was fine.

Jack was extremely responsive and communicated along the way. He would text progess photos and questions as they came up. The result is beautiful. They also cleaned up after themselves. They protected my new porch with plastic sheeting to keep concrete from spashing on it. Top notch service.

I had to have my side walkway replaced with new concrete. Jack, the owner, clearly explained to me what he would do to complete the project. The old concrete had to be removed and replaced with 4" thick concrete. In the area where the walkway had a large crack, Jack suggested adding wire mesh to strengthen the concrete. Throughout the process Jack kept me informed. His workers did an excellent job! They did great with the cleanup as well! I was very satisfied with the work. I would hire them again for sure.

The last step is bowed out a little. I told them about the issue. They simply responded by saying it wasn't.

Provider's phone manner was courteous and appreciated; he confirmed his understanding of my request. After a site visit, a written estimate was provided. The professional look and content of the emailed communication and estimate were appreciated. I was unable to afford having the work done, and submitted a courtesy text message to Jack, of Expert Concrete Solutions. The manner in which he handled the minimal association we had was such that I felt an Angie's List Review was an appropriate show of appreciation.

I have referred them twice to other people already. They were on time and cleaned up. They were there 6 days and were wonderful. In the spring they are going to come fix my fence and re-cement.

Jack (the owner) called and provided an estimate same day. His team arrived the following day for demolition and framing. Two days later, the entire project was complete. We were impressed with the prompt service and completely satisfied (so far) with the quality of the workmanship.

Jack, owner of ECS, came out, analyzed the situation and provided a quote. We agreed on price and scheduling for work to be completed in July and he and his team, despite weather conditions, were able to finish the work faster than originally planned. He's knowledgeable about concrete and is honest in his analysis, indicating what can and can't be realistically done. ECS took the time to do the job well and with good attention to detail. Price was a little higher, but their job performance was worth it--value received so far as I can see at this point. Based on current assessment, I would use them again, and plan to for periodic maintenance or if/as other projects arise.

Jack, the owner of ECS, was quick to communicate and come by for an estimate. He gave me to options - an off the shelf concrete resurfacing product and an engineered product, Ardex CP & CG. He completed all the work as promised, and as scheduled which included a power washing, an application of the product and a sealant. Currently very happy with the results and he guaranteed the work for 2 years so hoping the spalling does not reoccur.

Jack came out gave estimate and I asked him about spalling walkway in back of house. He said if rear was done it would not match other concrete in back-not to do. He set up appointment and came out with a helper and performed work as agreed upon including caulking concrete by brick. After completion, there were a few minor issues that had to be taken care of. I called and Jack came out and took care of them. Pleased with his work.

My porch was a mess with numerous deep crack and chunks of concrete gone. ECS power-washed the porch and then applied an epoxy-based concrete patch to all the damaged areas. Jack did mention the color of the patch would be different than the existing concrete. It is, but I prefer that to the cracks! He showed up when he said he would both for the estimate and the work. He even returned promptly to finish one last little bit that was overlooked the first time. While the patch will not hold for years and years, it gets me through until I figure out how I want to proceed.

They did a great job! I have no complaints and would recommend them to others. They were professional, on time and finished the job on time.

We had 3 estimates from highly rated Angie's List contractors. Expert Concrete was the cheapest, but that is not the only reason we chose them. Jack (owner) was also the first person to respond to my inquiry and came out the next day to provide an estimate. Another contractor took 2 weeks to come out for an estimate and sent someone who basically just measured our steps and didn't even give us any information about possible options. Throughout the process Jack was very good at communicating with me and letting me know what was going on. The work was delayed a few days due to rainy weather, but Jack kept me informed about when they would come and do the work. The end result was very good. The concrete looks great and though I'm not a concrete expert, I assume they did everything correctly as the city had to review their work. Also the workers were very polite and courteous. Would certainly recommend using them for your concrete needs.

The owner (Jack) was very responsive from the first phonecall to communicating with us around scheduling the job around the very rainy weather. He was very thorough in the planning and paid attention to the aesthetics of the overall appearance. He was very involved and supervised the job. The workers were very punctual and cleaned up afterwards. We appreciated their cooperativeness in helping us to plan our exits while the work was in progress. We definitely will call them again for future jobs.

We have 2 sets of steps to our front porch that go in perpendicular directions. Both of these sets of steps were badly chipped and broken. I had previously done annual patching myself which would always break away each year. This crew completely broke away all the bad concrete, followed by extensive grinding and power washing to remove everything that was loose. They then use an engineered cement product (Ardex) to fill and completely cover all surfaces. It dries amazingly fast and is then covered with a sealant. The whole job took about 8 hours. Every other year you purchase the special sealant online and reseal it. The color is a little different than normal concrete, but I think it's fine. It's more gray. We are very pleased with the result. The other estimates we had were covering with bluestone: $8000 and replacing the entire stoop: $19,000. I think that this looks great and we obviously saved a lot!

We wanted a 12 x 15 concrete patio put in and our old small landing removed. Jack was very responsive with giving us the estimate and getting us scheduled right away. We had a party coming up and wanted the patio done before the party and he was able to fit us in just in time. I have experienced bad communication with other contractors in the past, but expert concrete was very responsive and did everything when and how they said they would. They communicated at every step of the process, so we knew what to expect. When removing the old slab, the employee noticed some rotting wood along the house. He warned us of possible termites or water damage and offered to put up some flashing before pouring the new concrete to reduce water getting in and further damaging the wood. They picked up the flashing and installed it for a minimal charge of $20. The only minor complaint we had was with cleanup. They left the dirt they removed and filled some holes on the ground as we had agreed to. However, there were a few pieces of the old concrete buried under the dirt. All in all though, we are very pleased with the patio and would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.
