Description of Work: Used them twice; once October 2009 (extremely happy with everything)and then again in November 2012 (not so happy). | |In 2009 they removed and installed new gutter hangers, installed new gutter flashing and the flashing around the chimney. The cost was $200. The work was done on schedule and with no delays. If this was my only experience with them they would have been rated "A" across the board. | |Unfortunately my experience with them in November 2012 was not so good - not terrible just not as good as the first time. The start of our project kept getting delayed. There may have been some legitimate reasons for this delay but, if so, they were never conveyed. The reason I would most likely not use them again has nothing to do with the quality of workmanship as the gentleman that actually did the work on both occasions was extremely knowledgeable and professional. My reason for my reluctance is that there representative, Mr. Dustin Rager, was going to check on two issues for me and I never heard back from him. I'm an old-fashioned guy, if you say you are going to do something you do it.

Description of Work: The Lang Home Exterior members were fantastic to do business with, my roof had damage due to tree branch falling during a storm that required repair. I also needed work done to repair my chimney. They came out and provided a fair estimate the same day I called. The crew arrived on time the day we agreed to start the work. They quality of the work provided is nothing but professional! The crew finished on time and were very curtious throughout, I would definitely recommend Lang Home Exteriors!

Description of Work: Bill Lang came out and looked over our project, which was to complete siding job on 2 sides of our home and an attached porch. Our home has a gable and I had wanted it in a contrasting color. But I was not able to get the siding in a timely manner...Mr Lang suggested wrapping the edges of the gable in a trim in the color I wanted, to differentiate the gable from the body of the home. I would never have thought of that and it came out beautiful. They also finished some soffit and facia work as an addition to the original estimate. His crew was excellent..they did anything I asked. The workmanship looks amazing. Could not be happier. Would definitely use again and recommend. Some reviews I read here said this company did excellent work but were a bit pricy. I have to disagree...For what they did for us, their price was more than fair when compared to other estimates we got. So many companies we talked to would not even give us an estimate on this small a job where we already had all the siding and supplies and were finishing up a job started by someone else. We are very thankful this was not Bill Langs attitude. Thanks again Mr Lang.

+ -1 moreEverything was perfect. They had a full crew of labors and they had a foreman that was there the entire job and had an issue intendant that was out there the entire job. It was very professional. They cleaned up well and the customer service was good. Everything was real good. Their pricing was average. It's one of the few companies that calls back. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Lang Home Exteriors in November. They did a tear off and repaired the roof and then put in a new roof.

+ -1 moreTheir professionalism was great. I would tell other members that I liked that they were very good and responsive. If I needed to call and get a hold of them they would call me right back. They showed up when they said they would. There was one day that they could not make it and they sent me a letter and called and let me know and just kept me informed.
Description of Work: I used Lang Home Exteriors in December and they replaced the siding on a portion of the house.

+ -1 moreLang Home Exteriors proposal for the new roof on house was delivered as written. He was prompt for the appointment, explained everything and provided samples of the shingles. The roof was completed all in one Saturday. Everything around the house was covered with tarps. Workers cleaned up and hauled away all debris. I found no nails in the front or back yards after the project was completed. I would recommend Lang Home Exteriors.
Description of Work: Installed IKO "Cambridge" 30 year shingles. Project included installation of weather lock ice & water shield on eaves & valleys, plumbing vent pipes and aluminum chimney. Installed new plumbing flashing cover pipes and paint to match shingles. Installed 8 aluminum vents equally spaced on roof. Installed 2 kitchen/bath exhaust vents. Contractor removed existing shingles to the original wood surface, removed existing vents and plumbing flashing cover pipes. Removed damaged plywood and replaced with CDX plywood.

They were clear and honest about the work that needed to be done. More importantly they showed an honest concern about seeing that my roof problem was fixed despite the bad winter conditions. I would reccommend them to everyone. Where other companies either did not show up for a small repair or wanted to over charge me ( one company wanted $5000. 00 to repair) Lang Construction was prompt, honest,professional and showed a true concern for resolving my problem and me as a consumer. You won't be disappointed with their work. Call them today!

+ 1 moreIt was excellent. When I called the owner came and did the estimating. He was the only company that got on the roof and looked at it. It was easy to schedule the work. They were prompt and cleaned after themselves.
