We have not yet made a decision, but he was very good. He was very thorough and professional. He came out right away; he gave us a very professional estimate almost immediately compared to some other roofing guys. He gave us brochures. He gave us list of houses he had done in the area with similar things that we were looking for. We really liked him a lot. He was expensive. We have decided not to do anything because we are trying to save more money. He was definitely on the higher side, but we definitely thought that if we decide to go with him, he would do a good job for us.

I had the company come out and replace the roof on the house, and was so impressed with the quality, speed, and ease of doing business with them, I had them come back and take care of the soffit, facia and gutters also. They performed the work with little disturbance and cleaned up afterwords as if they werent ever there. There were several companies that gave cheaper quotes for the roof work, but there were also several that were more expensive. Their pricing was close to middle of the road, and when I called him out for a quote, he flat out told me it would be. I really felt that we were more than 'just another job'. Great overall experience.

When I called for an estimate, a representative was to my home within about an hour for the estimate. The job was completed within the next week. It took them 1 day to complete the job. I decided to go with them because they did more than just the roofing so we could include the vents. They showed up on time, did everything they said they would and the completed job looks great.

I would consider Lang to bid on other jobs if the need arises.

Dan Artus was the site manager and the person we communicated with the most. He was professional and very helpful. The men who actually did the siding were a father and son team. They were always very nice and cleaned up after themselves every day. They were perfectionists and really made sure the job was done well. The job took a little longer than we expected, but our house is an old house with a lot of weird additions so there was a lot of cutting and fiddly work that needed to be done. Overall a very pleasant experience and we are people who tend to put off having work done because we don't really like having people we don't know around our house. Their team made the experience painless.

The work was done according to plan. The workers were competent, courteous and hard working.

All of the workmen were experienced and consummate professionals, who demonstrated the utmost respect for our property and belongings. They kept us informed throughout the project how the work was progressing. The Project leader and Project forman, Dan Artus and Woytek Sobol, respectively, were physically present throughout the entire project, and they personally made sure that the work was progressing to their satisfaction. I could not be more impressed or more delighted with the end product of this roof replacement! The men worked tirelessly under very difficult weather conditions (the temperature was in the 90's every day), but they consistently remained pleasant, courteous and accommodating. The quality of their workmanship speaks for itself! Without reservation or qualification, I can give this roofing contractor the highest possible recommendation. It was indeed a privlege to do business with Lang Roofing. Their price was fair and more thn competetive, and they lived up to each and every assurance they gave me prior to starting the job. They clearly take great pride in their work, and they worked on our house as if it were their own. Many thanks to Service Magic for this exceptionally outstanding referral!

Overall, everything was great. The only thing that I didn’t like was once we signed a contract with him, we didn’t hear from him for a few weeks. It wasn’t till the day before that I heard from him and the work was to be done the next morning. That was the problem I had. Other than that, he did a great job on the roof and it looked great. It was the non-communication between the time of signing the contract till the time he was actually going to do the job that was pretty unprofessional. Then he blamed it on the permits not being there but I know that the permits were there; it had been there for a week as I had called myself. The price wasn’t the cheapest. He was on time. In terms of his professionalism, the whole not communicating thing took away from it, but he was good with the overall presentation.

They tore off the old roof and replaced decking as needed. They were very professional and punctual. They did an excellent job and were outstanding. They went above and beyond and delievered more than what they promised. Their pricing was very reasonable. They stand behind the quality of their work. He was very knowledgeable and was able to make upgrade recommendations at reduced rates. He warrantied the workmanship for five years. I would highly recommend him.

He came out and was very nice. He was a very pleasant and polite person. If I have something done I would definitely call him back.

They were very professional and he walked me through the project and talked me through his estimate to make sure I understood it. He came in a close second to the company that I did end up using.

One look at my roof from my handy man (who also does some roofing) and he told me I would need to tear off an entire section of my roof and replace it at the tune of over $1,000. I decided to call a specialist so I called Bill and boy am I happy I did. Bill already had a job scheduled in my area and was able to stop by and look at my roof without me even being present within an hour of our initial conversation. He called me back and told me he could replace the missing shingles without needing a major repair and that he could do it for $150. Never having to have a roof repair before, I didn't think there was such a thing as minor roof repairs and that any repair what-so-ever would be costly. I was thrilled to learn that wasn't the case and happy to contract Bill for the job. Bill did the work the next day, again without me being present and to my surprise told me to just send payment to his office. Although I would have loved to have met Bill face to face, he made the repair of my roof so quick and inexpensive that I never had to. I would highly recommend Bill to anyone needing roof repairs in the Chicago land area.

From the very beginning, Bill Lang listened to our wants and needs and was such an honest man. His crew is the hardest working group of gentlemen ever. So polite, so professional. The were great at their job and knew it well. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this company. Bill even made an extra trip to my home to show me samples of the different browns in the sun light so I could make the correct choice for us. We are completely satisfied with this terrific company and Mr. Bill Lang.

A good deal of planning and evaluation of various options and materials were necessary, and Mr. Lang's knowledge and experience were very helpful in the decision-making process. Multiple estimates were required, all of which were provided promptly and accurately. Once decisions were made, accurate time frames for obtaining materials were provided and work began as scheduled. Because of the size of the roof, work was completed on one roof face at a time to ensure that each face would not be exposed to unexpected weather conditions. Work crews were friendly, efficient and hard working. Work materials were stored in an orderly fashion, all debris immediately placed in dumpsters, and crews meticulously cleaned up efficiently each day. The entire job was completed as scheduled and our expectations were exceeded at every phase. We highly recommend Lang Home Exteriors to others without any reservations.

After all of the horror stories you hear about roofing contractors, what a breath of fresh air it was to meet and to deal with Bill Lang of Lang Home Exteriors. He patiently listened to what we wanted and what we expected, and he delivered with total professionalism and courtesy. His crew was prompt, extremely courteous, and very efficient. The quality of the work is simply outstanding and we would definitely recommend Lang Home Exteriors to our family, friends, and acquaintances.

No problems. Returned several times to fix a problem that turned out to be a leaking chimney.

First contacted company in September 2011. Estimate given on 20 Sept. 2011. Estimated time of work was the first week of October. Called to get exact date and was put off due to backlog because of weather conditions. Estimated time pushed back to 14/15 October. Third call estimate was for 24th October 2011. Final call got date of 27th October, on which company showed up. Arrival 8:00 am. Worked two days to complete work. Everything went smoothly. Competent, professional and courteous. Would use again. Only reccommendation would be for better contact with customer about delays.

They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves when they were done.

It went well overall. Very responsive if we had a problem. Came up with and innovative solution for one of the gutter drains that we are very pleased with a rain chain.

Lang exteriors did a great job on my roof, thay were on time, thay put 5 guys on my roof and worked like mad, thay did a great job of sheetmetal fabricating around my chimineys,and valeys,also what a great job of cleaning up after themselves, thay used magnets on wheels all along the house and driveway looking for stray nails NICE!!!!!! I would use Lang Exteriors again and i have recomend them to family and friends, there PRO'S
