I can say that I do not recognize the name or information. As I type this Friday morning I am getting ready to do the estimates from customers that made the request yesterday. We as a company come out the same day or the very next day to do estimates so if I didn't respond especially to a big project like this there must've been some sort of error made. If you do not contact our company directly and make the request through a third-party (yelp) sometimes the filters don't allow the information to get to us. Sounds like a nice job I wish we would've talked.

Description of Work: I found W brothers via Angie's list. I got 2 other bids and though not the cheapest, I had the most comfort dealing with John and his company. I had W Brothers tear off and replace roof on my 2800 sq/ft house and shed with new architectural shingle. The crew showed up at 7am and had the roof off by 10am and the new roof on by 3pm. The crew cleaned up and were gone by 4pm. They were Very professional and I would not hesitate to use them again

Very pleasant experience.
Description of Work: In a phone call, John told me that the repair I needed was not the best fit for them (or me in terms of cost). However, while I was on the phone, he ran out to his truck and got the card of someone that he knew that had been a roofer for 30 years. What a nice business experience!

Description of Work: In Oct. 2007 I contacted W. Bros roofing due to water leaking from the family room ceiling. They advised a complete tear off and new roof installation to resolve this problem. A new roof was applied 11/5/07 for $11,430. Ceiling damage was repaired by owner Jan 2008 for $500. Recurrent leakage from the identical location started early Spring 2008. Roofers have returned early Spring, Summer, Sept, and Dec 2008 unsuccessfully attempting to fix the problem. Large amounts of water "raining" through the family room ceiling have continued throughout 2008 anytime there is significant rainfall. Buckets and towels are needed to catch the water. There has been extensive water damage to the ceiling, wood moldings, walls, and wallpaper which the roofer has observed. There is more damage to the home now than there was prior to the new roof installation. The roofer now alleges that leaking is coming from the chimney. I have had two different chimney specialists examine the chimney (late Nov 2007 after new roof applied and in Fall of 2008) and neither could find problems with the brick or mortar; they said that the chimney was not the problem. Our last contact with the roofer was 12/27/08 during heavy rain and 50 degree temps. He (John) was obviously irritated about the inconvenience of having to come out to deal with our seriously leaking roof over the holidays. He even had the audacity to ask why we had a new roof installed in the first place. When we told him that this was recommended by his son to correct the roof leak, he shrugged his shoulders. We requested that another roofer be brought in to assist in correcting the problems or that our money be refunded; these suggestions were laughed at. He told us he would have his son contact us after Jan 5th but we have heard nothing from W. Bros since. This company has taken over $11,000 of my money and has not taken care of the problem they promised to fix. I have given them over a year to correct the problem and my home continues to suffer additional damage. A complaint has been filed w/ the BBB.

W Brothers Roofing has been and still is willing to work with the member to resolved his water issues. We have won the Super Service Award from Angie's List six times and we always want to make sure every customer is happy. W Brothers Roofing was last out at the member's at the end of December 2008 and at this time we once again re-sealed the flashing on the chimney in question and told the home owner that we would return to his house to do a field water test once the weather permitted. The location of the chimney and the pitch of the roof make it very difficult to go on the roof to do our testing. W Brothers Roofing did point out to the homeowner in December and also at the prior service call that the chimney needed to be looked at. The crew that came out to work on the chimney noticed many spots in the chimney's tuck-pointing that were breaking down which could result in water leakage around the chimney. W Brothers Roofing has not seen any written documentation in regards to the chimney being looked at by a chimney specialist. W Brothers Roofing had plans to go back to the member's once the roof was safe enough to scale and address the issue. W Brothers Roofing understands that the homeowner would like to hire a roofer of his choice to repair the chimney area. We will give the member's up to $500 for the repairs on their home to get done. W Brothers Roofing is willing to work with any home owner to make sure they are satisfied. Thank you for your time, W Brothers Roofing Inc.
