+ 1 moreThe owner John, worked with the insurance estimator and provided me a detailed estimate after discussions with the insurance company, I decided to go ahead with W. Brothers Roofing. They delivered the supplies on time and arrived at 7AM as agreed on. They completed all the roof replacement in one day and cleaned up all the waste materials when finished. They returned two days later to replace all the gutters and the window shielding. The workers were great answering any questions I had and the on-site foreman Rob did a great job keeping me informed as to the flow and status of the work. I am extremely satisfied with the job done.
Description of Work: Re-roofing was necessary after a hail storm. Damage to the home, detached garage, and shed. It was also necessary to replace the gutters down spouts and shielding around several of the windows.

I chose the GAF Ultra HD definition shingle and it looks amazing. The new roof definitely enhances the curb appeal of my property. I will definitely recommend W. Brothers Roofing to friends and neighbors in need of roofing!

They did everything in a timely manner and even replaced a couple of boards that were rotten at no extra charge. They cleaned up and removed all of the hold gutter materials. I would recommend them to anyone needing new gutters. The price was less than the 2 other quotes I got.

Did not use them.

+ -1 moren;s comAbout a month ago we had a pretty good rainstorm and I had leak in my roof right above my bed. I had a home inspection which said the roof was good for another 3-5 years but I knew it was time to pay the piper. I found W brothers via Angie;s list. John came out and gave me an estimate. Very professional presentation and did not try to say it was an insurance claim. I appreciated that, as I wanted an honest assessment. I got 2 other bids and though not the cheapest, I had the most comfort dealing with John and his company. This outfit are true professionals. The dumpster, permit and shingle were there when promised. The jo took about 5-6 and hours and they were able to save my beat-up cupola (I know I;m a dork bu t I love than accent on my roof) which was probable another half hour labor for 3=4 guys. The new architectural shingle look great and John's dad was a pleasure to deal with. Hoping this is my last roof on this house but would not hesitate to use them on anothr homee

As I was a bit uncertain with their approach (felt like a hard sell), I called other companies including W Brothers. John was prompt in returning my call, very professional and personable. He asked questions about our situation and responded to my questions about process, all with a level of integrity even though it meant he would not get the work. I was impressed and appreciated his integrity, candor, and professionalism. I am only sorry that I had not discovered their company first to use for this project.

+ -1 moreA low key sales approach, willingness to add extra wording to the contract and a competitive price with nearby completed jobs were the things that made us go with W. Brothers. Rob was knowledgeable, confident (but not pushy) and completely professional when providing the estimate, explaining the time line and addressing any concerns we had regarding our roof. They were punctual, finished the job about an hour earlier than expected and were sincere in asking us to contact them as soon as possible should there be any problems after installation. As of now (2 weeks later), the leak we were concerned with has not re-occurred.

+ 0 moreW. Brothers was always prompt, professional, and ready to answer all of our questions. The installation occurred on the days we agreed, and took the amount of time we were told it would take. We have many plants, including tomato plants, around the house, and all were covered. Not one was damaged. Not one roof nail was left in the driveway! That is astounding to me!
Description of Work: W. Brothers came out to estimate the job promptly. We had our old shingles removed and replaced with architectural shingles. W. Brothers replaced many of the old plank boards (our house was built in 1929). Th contractor removed and installed new gutters and downspouts, and installed ice shield and roof center vent.

+ -1 moreThe job was done in six hours but was way overbid.I should have been more critical but ,I guess,I trusted Angies' List more than I should have.
Description of Work: First off,it was never my intent to write a review but, i awoke this morning at about 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep thinking about the Angies' List experience.Now,one would think,with all the concerns,day to day,that Angies' List would be the last to keep me awake at night.I accepted Angies' List to be a reputable information source and when I took the bid I let my guard down.In retrospect,I should have been more skeptical when I was asked how much the insurance had paid and then the bid came out just 100.00 more.I never got an itemized bill which I normally demand. The job was R & R 1100 sq.ft. of roofing and it took two people six hours.I priced the materials and it came out to @1400.00 so the labor was chargeed at 158.00 an hour.Its an outrageous amount for a simple job but its my fault for not questioning more.I write this ,in part,to advise people to be on guard when dealing with these particular roofers and that just because a business appears on Angies' List doesn't make them completely creditable.Maybe now that I've said my piece I will sleep better at night.
