Mike was very coordinated in scheduling an appraisal (on an evening that was convenient for me), supplying an appraisal via e-mail that accurately detailed the work to be performed, and then scheduling and performing the work. I never had an issue getting a hold of Mike and all communication was poignant and professional. On the day the work was to be performed, Mike arrived exactly at the time he indicated and the work took roughly 7 hours to perform, as he indicated it would when we scheduled it. The job was completed accurately to the proposal and he cleaned up effectively before leaving. Very satisfied with all aspects of the transaction!

The work went well. He was very professional and a nice guy. He worked with us on the price. We were very happy with his work.

The meter was taken apart and he showed us exactly what was happening with the bare wires that were shorting out, as Com Ed pointed out to me a few hours before. He tightened some screws and went into the basement to make sure all was well with the electrical panel. It is fixed, period, and I would highly recommend this company without any hesitation. It couldn't have gone better. The service call was scheduled the same day I phoned. When the service person was available earlier than originally scheduled, they called to see if it was convenient for me for them to come at the earlier time. They came in and immediately headed to the possible source of the problem after a friendly, polite greeting. After finding the problem and correcting it, he politely said good-bye and left.

Mike from Kohring came out and met with me and to discuss the job, was very flexible on when he could do the work. I was very please with the work and his recommendations.

I got Mikes recomendation through Angies List. I originally intended for Mike to install an electrical box for a ceiling light in my dining room. a few other boxes in my home, and run 220 volts to my garage to power an air compressor. I had just baught the home and had experienced the lights dimming frequently, but did not think too much of it. Mike diagnosed a bad connection of the main wires comming into the house. Large wires were sparking inside the main electrical box. The home was purchased with a warrantee and the replacment was covered by the warrantee company. I probably would have had a fire sooner or later, if Mike had not found the problem. Mike is kind, clean and communicative. I would recomend him to anyone.

Mike, as always, was very responsive, performed quality work and offered a good price. He was available in the evening to come over and discuss the work before it was started. For the undermount lighting, since we already had it installed by an inferior contractor, he offered a cost effective solution that reused much of the equipment that was already there. We have used him many times over the last 8 years and are very happy with him.

Mike came out the week prior and e-mailed me an estimate in 24hours. I had expected $$$$$$$ more. He was flexible with scheduling, but did need a whole day to tackle all the assignments. I didn't want to take time off from work so my father came to "house-sit" and let Mike in. Dad reported that Mike was up and down the attic stairs and in-and-out the front door "working his moon off all day..." Nice surprises: Mike put in a light fixture in the utility room - it was dark before. He also added a switch in the attic so all I have to do is flip the switch and all the lights go on...and it's safe now too! He also added an extra outlet in the front room from the utility room. He also put in a correct connection from the overhead light fixture from over the kitchen sink that ran into the utility room. He ran pipe into the attic and from the closet to the den. He called me on my cell as he was leavingt the house to go over all the work. I'm simply amazed at all the work he did.

He came out and wired those 2 rooms for electricty by going over the garage and into the home. He did a great job doing the follow up patch work. It was an expensive project but it was well worth it and he did a great job. He was very responsive.

Everything went as close to perfect as is humanly possible. Including special special tarps and boots to enable working outside in the rain on the generator and then making frequent trips to the basement to run the wires. The holes that were drilled in the siding were an excellent fit. It is a real show place and I saved at least $1000 by buying the generator myself and having Kohring install vs the two other bids for the turnkey job including generator.

We recently bought a home and the home inspector suggested we replace our Federal Pacific circuit breaker box because there had been issues with circuits not tripping. Mike had excellent reviews and we had him come out and replace the box. It just so happened we had a power outage on the day he was to come and do the work. My husband called him and Mike said to call when the power came back on. It did, but then went back out after he arrived. But that didn't stop him from working on replacing the box. He had a radio hooked up to know when the power was restored. When the power came back on, he worked with my husband to identify all the circuits and spent extra time trying to find what circuit went to an outdoor fixture that didn't work. Since the new box is a different size than the old one, we had some drywall work to do on our own. We were very happy with his work.

They were great! They provided excellent customer service. They always kept in touch. They came out promptly. They did excellent work! They cleaned up after themselves. They were very customer focused.

We got an appointment fixed easily. He came on my day off. He was punctual. Our house is 50 years old. My boyfriend could change a couple of switches. He wanted to make sure that nothing was burnt out or it was not possible to start a fire. The electrician looked at the switches and made sure they were alright. He also installed a lamp over the garage. However, he did not clean up after himself.
