Description of Work: We returned home from a trip and found no electricity from one breaker. After asking around for a recommendation from our neighbors, family, and friends, none of them had any to suggest. Bless my sister for signing us up for Angie's List. We were very happy to find an electrician who loved right done the street from us! I've already sent out his name to a friend who was also needing an electrician. |

Description of Work: Mr Kohring came out for a suspected junction box rewire, inspected and evaluated, and diagnosed the problem (turned out to be an issue with ComEd and a loose connection for 'Line 2' at the pole) promptly and courteously. Also suggested (as I pressed on any perceived or possible issue with the junction box) that yes, while it was old, considering the size of the house and relative 'good' shape of the circuits, that a rewire / new box 'may be a good idea, you're not ready for that yet and things seem to be good from what I've seen... while a new box would be good, that's not your problem today and the box doesn't seem to be a problem. When you're ready, of course, please call me' (or something of that sort). Bottom line: when the time comes for such services, Mr. Kohring will be the man we call.
