What was most impressive was when they came to do the estimate. The two workers who would actually be performing the work did the estimate. They were Mike and David. Where others guessed as to what was causing the siding damage, and therefore guessed on the cost of repairs, Mike insisted on removing (and reinstalling) part of the shingles and siding to see if the wood underneath had any water damage and also to assess if house wrap and insulation and ice and water shield were present or contributing to the problem. Because he took the extra time to do that, I found out there was no water damage on the wall or roof decking, the house wrap and insulation were properly present and we discovered the true cause of the damage to the shingles which was sun reflection from a window immediately perpendicular to the area of damaged siding. The sun reflection actually melted the shingles. In addition, rather than saying all of the gutters had to replaced and all of the gutter apron was done wrong, he pointed out that the gutter apron was only done wrong on one section of the addition and he therefore did not overcharge me for work that did not need to get done. Other estimators admitted to not knowing much about roofing and stated they were only there to take pictures and the cause of the problem would be determined by people reviewing the photos back at the office. Mike and David were right there, pulling back and replacing layers to make an accurate determination of the problem and therefore did not overcharge me. Mike even replaced a small amount of the melted siding from left over scraps I had in the garage, rather than reapplying the damaged siding after inspection. That extra 15 - 20 minutes of time won this company my business in addition to the thorough inspection. They arrived on time, did the work that was on the proposal and cleaned the place up thoroughly. I really appreciate this company and Mike and David!

They gave us the good news that our roof likely has another 3-4 years in it (another company had told us one more year and that was last year). Euclid will be at the top of our list when the time comes to gather estimates for the new roof. Their work and honesty are very much appreciated. We also appreciate that they were able to accommodate us with an 8 am appointment just a few days after we called. I should add, another company recently quoted us over $700 to repair that flashing, so the difference in price with Euclid really was a "big deal."

They were supposed to call me before they arrived and they didn't, they just showed up. I explained what I needed and I started to get a bit of an attitude from them. I asked to come up on the roof, which I did. They said that they couldn't repair the leak since it required one-two shingles which would cost extra. I didn't even care what color the shingles were and I told them that. I believe they also knocked off part of the chimney/exhaust pipe while checking the integrity of the chimney, this disturbed a bees nest and allowed the bees to get inside the house. I have never had bees in my house until after they left and it is not something that I could have just over looked, as my daughter is very much allergic to bees. They left the chimney in the messed up state, not trying to correct the problem. They did fix some of the those shingles using caulk, after I pointed out each individual shingle that needed attention. For the work that they did, it wasn't worth my time or money. I could have done the job myself.

Repaired some shingles in various spots on the roof. On time and friendly.

Good experience with Euclid. Called them on Wednesday and they came out on Thursday. My only issue is that they said they would call and make an appointment on Thursday morning and they showed up instead. Luckily, I was around to be there. Good work and would use them again.

Roofers arrived on time and completed job very professionally.

Agreed on 9am arrival and had to call at 11am after they had not arrived. Did arrive at noon. Work was done well. No issues with price or quality, just wish they had been on time and called when they knew they were going to be late. We would still use them again.

They were great in terms of the estimate. The estimate was done free of charge. I liked their reputation; they came highly recommended and were regarded highly on Angie’s List as well. I have not gotten the work done yet. I would consider using them in the future.

They seemed to understand roofing. They are really good in working with insurance companies if there is any natural disaster.

They showed up on the time and date that was scheduled to inspect my roof. They did a thorough inspection and provided a verbal quote. They followed up with a written quote/contract in a few days. I had a very positive experience. I will use them again for any future roof repairs. I highly recommend Euclid Roofing & Siding.

I had to constantly call them to get a hold of them. I had to come home from work to find the roof had gone up. I wanted to be home so I could exactly see what needed to be replaced. All I got was the work order saying what they had done. I wanted to be called and wanted to be there, and I was not given the opportunity to do that. The quality of the work has been okay. It looks nice.

We noticed that the rubber boot around the vent pipe on our roof was leaking on a Saturday. Heavy storms were forecasted for that night, so my wife and I began calling every roofer in the book. Most didn't pick up the phone. The ones that did, wouldn't come out on a Saturday. Then we found Euclid. The owner called us back personally. We explained the situation, and that we were concerned about getting water in the house if we waited till Monday. He came out himself and fixed our roof on the spot! He was fast, friendly, and was willing to help us out in a pinch.

he contractor was wonderful and extremely gracious. He was very honest with us and did not pressure us. We had a small job and he was very honest about the fact that we probably could do the work ourselves should we want to. We did not and did end up choosing another company. Not because we didn't think they could do a good job but we recieved a comparable estimate and they offered a referral bonus which we ended up using.

Everything went wonderful. They were puctual, came when they said they would, everything was done in a day, and they cleaned up after themselves. We were pleased with the work.

I called Euclid the morning of 10/5 about re-roofing my house. The receptionist said she would hgave a salesman cll me. I never received the call.

I could not be more satisfied. They came when they were scheduled. Tear down work was performed neatly and cleanup at the end of the day was perfect. We had a complete teardown of the roof. They replaced wood that was damaged. The siding looks great. They did a professional job on the endcaps and around the windows and doors. Looks great! Very happy with the new windows and doors. These people do great work. If you ever have questions Celeste always answers the phone and makes sure everything is in order. We had them work around our schedule for July 4th and she worked it out. She is the best...

We called Euclid because it was on Angies list. They inspected the roof and told me that the roof was fine, Our problem was with the chimney not being capped and that the bricks were deterioraring. They recommended we get a chimney specialist. I appreciated their professionalism and honesty, I would definitely consider them when I do need my roof replaced.

Michael came out and quoted the tear off and re-roofing. He explained in simple terms some of the features of my roof and what they would do to it. He explaned the current condition of my roof and how the new roof would improve my home. The quote was nearly identical to another A rated Angies List provider. We went with Euclid because of Michaels personal touch and attention to details that the other vendor did not mention. After awarding the quote to Euclid, materials were ordered and received within 1 week. We scheduled the work 3 days prior to the work date. Materials were delivered to my house on time. The work was done in 1 day with a 6 man crew. The workers laid down tarp to catch debris and nails. They also removed the entire nails from the roof rather than just popping the heads off of them. The clean up was perfect. You would never have known that they worked all day. No nails or peices of old roofing lying around. The roof looks great! My neighbor used another roofing company the previous week and the quality difference was evident. Euclid Roofing did a great job and Michael even came out to the house that night to make sure we thought the job was completed to our satisfaction. I would recommend Euclid Roofing for anybody in the burbs looking for a reliable, honest, hard working and quality company. If there was a way to give them higher than an A grade, I would.

Kraig and his crew did great work -- siding looks great, with amazing clean-up -- no nails, scraps, or anything left on the ground. Probably the neatest contractor job ever! Polite, friendly, and responsive workers. They got the permit, brought the dumpster, and work was done within a week. Job was expensive, but seems like all siding work is expensive, and the price was fair compared to other job quotes. Same foreman (Andres) came each time, which was great, (he was sweet and approachable), and Kraig definitely stopped by to check on things. My only (small) complaint would be that I had to be proactive about the communication, at times -- for example, I had to call and follow-up to get the quote after Kraig came for the initial estimate. Then later, there was a delay in starting the work because of anticipated rain, but then once the rain cleared, we still had no workers...then workers showed up for a few days, and then disappeared (no warning) on a weekday before the work was done. When I called, I was told that they had gone to work on a different job, but would be back tomorrow. I didn't mind -- the work could still be completed on schedule, if the weather held -- but would have just liked a warning. They were apologetic and said, Sorry, someone should have told you. So, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but just know that if you hire these guys, you might need to be proactive in calling/following-up.

No service was performed by this comapny because they were not willing to answer my questions.

We were in the process of purchasing a home. The sellers said the roof was replaced in 2005. Our home inspector found some damaged shingles and recommended we hire our own roofer to do an inspection. We found Euclid on Angie's List because another member reported they used Euclid for a similar inspection. The sellers had their roofer come out and inspect the damage and we were told raccoons were getting up on the roof and causing the damage. (Funny, eh?) Since we felt we were not getting a straight answer, we called Euclid and they came out to inspect the roof. Steve came out and met our real estate agent, inspected the roof, and called us back within a few hours with his verbal report. A written report came later the same day. Our roof is OK and we should have it inspected again in 5 years. Steve recommended the spring we may want to have the original roofers come out and take samples of the shingles to send them to the manufacturer and check if there is a problem with the materials.

Other companies that I called wouldn't even consider coming out for such a small job. I'll be calling them in the future for more extensive work and have already given their information to my neighbor.

Mike was excellent. He and another employee came to the house and assessed the situation. He was the only person of the three I contacted to go up into the attic crawl space to see if the roof was leaking in a place other than chimney. Then he went up on the roof to check it out and said the leak was confined to area around chimney and he could take care of it immediately. This was in contrast to another quote of $550 to seal and replace flashing (which was only a few years old) and a third quote of $2,530 to replace part of roof and $6600 to replace the entire roof. The roof has not leaked since Euclid repaired it and I am very pleased with the care and the service provided.
