Euclid Roofing & Siding, Inc

I talked to Euclid about what needed to be done and they sent someone out to give me an estimate. The person I worked with was friendly enough. He said he would send me an estimate within a week or so. This is a small job and I knew they were busy so I was flexible about when the work would be done. I never received a quote. I called two times after that and left a message as no one answered my call. I did not receive a return call. I can accept that the job was small and they didn't have the time to do it. But I also expected some level of professionalism that would come with a return call and an explanation and perhaps a referral. They may do good work but just be aware that they may not responsive to your inquiries.

After winter, I had a gutter that came loose from the 2nd story of my house. I called Euclid Roofing to have someone come out to fix it. Now I am going to ding them 1 star because they forgot to write down my first appointment. But with that said, they came out promptly the second time and corrected the problem. The price was reasonable, but more importantly the work was done very well. It stormed that same night and all was fixed. I would definitely use them again for any other work.

Kraig was very knowledgeable about ventilation. He pointed out that my main roof lacked intake panels int he soffits. Other roofers offered to put a new hole and vent into my roof (very risky). I liked Kraig's conservative approach.

Had a quote from another roofer for $1000+ to repair shingles and replace false chimney. Because that roofer was really booked up, called Euclid for a second opinion and hopefully faster service. They were responsive and able to have someone check in out a few days after I called. I thought it was going to just be for a quote but the worker who stopped by explained what repairs were needed. They had the supplies and tools on their truck and were able to make repairs in 15 minutes. They were polite and answered all my questions. The charge was substantially less than the other roofer and they were willing to walk me through why that was okay. Look forward to using Euclid in the future.

Steve came and told me that more than one shingle had come loose. Fortunately, I had some left-over shingles in the basement. Steve as able to fix the roof.

The estimate was free. They didn't do the work. It was just an estimate. They were pretty courteous and professional. We would consider them in the future. We didn't go with them because there was another company we liked a little bit better, their estimate was a little bit better, and they had an Angie's List discount coupon. They had a slightly better deal.

Responsiveness and follow up was poor. It was difficult to discuss proposal as emails were not replied and when I called he had to take another call. I found an Angie's listed roofer who had lower price and pleasure to deal with. It appears person I was dealing w/ is the owner.

Receptionist was rude. Agreed with me with I said we probably could not afford the pricier siding. Kraig came out to my house and I spent time out of my day to talk him through what we need to do. The quote never came after that. I called back 2x and even talked to Kraig, he said he would email it soon. Never received. A waste of my time and terrible service that basically tells me my business was not worth their time.

great job , my neighbors and i have been customers of euclid for many years hes the " go to guy " for many projects i have recommended him to many and he has always satisfied

The manager is very experienced, he talked with us to understand our needs, then he made recommendations based on his knowledge. The work went on well, the quality of finished roof looks good. I didn't find any problem since it's done 10 months ago. Maybe the only thing they can improve is, they should try to place enough workers on one roof to finish asap, instead of sending small groups of workers each day and lasts for a whole week.

Anthony was the PM on the job along with Collin and they are first class. They did a great job following up with the insurance company and working through the process. They continued to check in and make sure I had everything going as expected. Victor and his crew was key to making a great job happen. Cleaned up every day. The crew makes a big deal and Euclid did the job right. This was not a small job and they put the time into the job to do it right !!

Euclid was excellent to deal with and was very understanding when I had asked for written details of what they saw when evaluating the status of the current roof. They made it out to the property within 1 day of me contacting them and I had the written report in my hand the following day. They are great to deal with and will use them again.

They did a good job, but they missed a larger issue I had. They maybe could have done some more diagnostics, but they were nice.

Overall, a good experience, but the provider did not share enough information once the project began. I think it will be a matter of years before we see an indication of whether or not the work was of high quality. Good: - The sales manager explained everything we needed to know and answered every question we had. - The employees performing the work were respectful of the property and cleaned up substantially everything that dropped or fell off the roof. - Price beat the other two bids we received. One other bid was almost double, which called into question what we were actually going to receive. - Reviews here and one recommendation from a friend got us comfortable using Euclid. - Plenty of roof colors/options Bad: - The project timeline was not clear. There were a couple days it rained, but the project manager never notified me when work would commence again or be completed. One day in the middle of the project it didn't rain and no work was done. We never received an explanation. - The sales manager noted they would fix the flat roof so water didn't pool. This did not happen and for this I gave this category a "C" - They also noted they would repair a gutter (glue), but never indicated that it was done.

I have hired Euclid Roofing in the past to put on a new roof on my home after I had some hail damage. I work with their representative Scott Williams. Scott makes himself accessible anytime if I have questions or want to look at samples. He will deliver samples to my home. Scott makes it easy. Steve (the owner) is responsive as well. So when I again had hail damage on one of my homes that I rent out, I called Scott and he responded with the same great service. The new roof was installed and the area around my home was cleaned up. You wouldn't have even known the roofers were on the property after they left. I will use them again for other siding and roofing needs.

Had ice dam on roof causing leak problem in our kitchen. Called Euclid at 7am. Steve, the owner, was on our roof with shovel at 7:30 attempting to clear as much snow and ice as possible. He then went back on roof to place strip of salt to melt 6 feet of ice. Very responsive, very pleasant.

Kraig is great to work with. They were on time, professional and very tidy. I will be calling them again for future projects!

Euclid was on time according to our appointment for the estimate. I cannot compare on quality of work since we did not use the service but pricing for the same services offered by other companies are much lower than Euclid's by at least $4k.

Euclid Roofing & Siding Inc turned out okay. They did a good job but then I had called them to finish something up or to give me some more information and they never got back to me about that. I was dissatisfied with that part of it. I was thinking that I would get to talk to them and get information about what I needed to do to maintain my roof, that's what I actually asked them about but they never gave that information. I thought it was part of that big deal. I would inform members to probably find someone better. It didn't seem like what they did was worth $200, usually when you purchase a big deal you're getting a good deal but this time it didn't seem like it.

Work was hard to plan due to weather.... been a ruff spring for any roofer...anyway, the first day with a clear forecast, they were working by 7am...install was fine, workers were nice, professional and did great work. they worked ~approx 12-13 hours straight thru with one short break just to get the work done. took that long as my rotten plywood was difficult to get off (came off in tiny pieces and splinters) rather than sheets of plywood. They put large tarps down to keep trash and nails to a minimum.

After a storm blew off one piece of siding, my husband called Euclid based on a recommendation from a source other than Angie's List. They came out the same day. They quoted $175 to repair and reattach the piece or $400 to replace it. Not wanting any water damage, he approved the $175 repair. When I saw it I was appalled. There was an obvious crease and a hole near the top of the crease. Knowing that about 8 years ago we had aluminum trim put on the entire house for under $1500, I thought this was outrageous. I called the owner and told him my feelings on the workmanship and inflated price. I told him I would be writing a review on Angie's List and asked whether he would like the opportunity to make it right, meaning replace the piece of trim, before I posted. He agreed to come and do that. About a week later his crew came and replaced the piece of trim, so he held up his end of the bargain.

Their estimate was 3 times what I ended up paying for the repair and an installed vent. The first quote was $1,050 and when I said it sounded high, they agreed to take $150 off. It was funny to me that they could change the price right away like that.

Jury is still out - Contacted to reside our unattached garage. Kraig did a good job in coming out and quoting the job. Also did a great job in matching the color needed. I asked him to use up siding left over from our house, which he did. Not sure if he will be back to address my complaint of replacing damaged wood. Instead of replacing as quoted, had his guys cover the damaged wood with aluminum wrap. Looks fine but I am concerned if something rolls into that section, will cause a dent since nothing is behind the aluminum wrap Rated low on responsiveness because I left a few messages that were not returned. Kraig did come as promised though, and the garage looks good -

i wasn't home, but my wife tells me they came and went in a very short time, and it wasn't at all clear what they did.

They do a great job. I've always been happy.
