We had a great experience. Everyone was very courteous, responsive and professional. They were able to come a lot sooner than we expected. When they were done we mentioned that some of the trees along our fenceline in the back yard weren't trimmed as much as we were hoping. Jim was very nice about it and had his crew come back and do some more trimming.

We had just bought our home last summer and the backyard was very wet... we figured out it never got a chance to dry out from big rains because it was all shade due to all the trees on our property. We had 3 maples right in the middle of our backyard making the yard wet and unusable for anything "large" like playing sports or a kiddie playground, etc... So we got an advertisement from Champion Tree Care and called. I didn't shop around because I thought his quote was reasonable and I didn't really have the time. The work got performed as requested and I was happy. A few months later I called Jim back to have him remove the river birch tree that was hanging over our deck and roof and known to leak sap from insect infestation (per the previous owners). That work was also performed to our satisfaction and we'll call Champion for any future tree care needs.

They did a great job. They are fantastic. They said they would do the job when they did. They notified me when they had to shut power off. They cleaned up afterwards. It was a competitive price.

It was very good. They did exactly what we wanted them to do. They came gave me a good price. They came the next day and took everything away.

Everything they did for us worked out well. They were good to work with. They were reasonable.

He is fantastic and I have never had any issues. He charges a fair price. His clean up is fantastic. From start to finish he does a wonderful job.

I phoned Jim and he came round and gave me a very reasonable estimate by email that same night. He promised to do the work within a week. However, 2 days later, he called and asked if they could come that day because they were in our neighborhood and had finished a job sooner than anticipated. His team arrived and got straight to work. A hard hatted worker scaled each tree and set about thoroughly trimming each maple tree while another man shaped and trimmed the Crab Apple Tree. They worked hard and quickly and cleaned up the work site as they went. A few days later, Jim came to check if everything was to our satisfaction. A good job well done.

We were not home when Mr. Campion did the work in January, 2007. He indicated that all of the work was completed and we paid him. We had a lot of snow and couldn't get out to see the back of the garage. When we did a few days later, we saw that the small volunteer tree was still there. When I called Mr. Campion, he said he would remove that tree in a few weeks. February came and I called again and left a message--no response. It is now August, 2007, and I have called 2 more times since February and he has not called back. I know that he is still in business as I continue to receive his ads in the mail. While his tree service work was acceptable, I would not recommend Campion Tree Service. He is not responsive to his customers and did not finish the job.

Pretty much perfect. This was a tough job. The trees were by an electric line, overhanged a neighboring building and were 3-4 stories tall with a big canopy. James did a great job of answering all my initial questions plus didn't have to take out any other trees like other companies wanted to do.
