Allied Air Conditioning and Heating

Their pricing is within everybody else. They were on time. They were clean. They put their booties on every time they come in. They are in and out. They just do really nice work.

They are good. They are prompt and do a good job. It's just a good service.

Arrived on time. Performed work in an efficient manor. took time to talk through system with me since it was an electric furnace/heat pump which was new to me. Everything was done well and when I had a problem a few days later they came back out immediately and spent a lot more time working through the system at no additional charge.

Around 3 PM I was able to make an appointment for the following morning. Friendly tech arrived within 4 hour window, shortly after call from dispatch. I explained what was (not) happening with the humidifier, tech went to work. In 15 minutes he diagnosed the problem. He called the shop to discuss the repair and then tried one other possible solution (dip switches) before pronouncing the humistat dead. We are close to the shop--someone delivered the new humistat and the tech installed it. He checked the pad which I had installed myself and said it was OK. The humidifier worked just fine after new humistat was installed. This was my grandmother's house and she received a senior discount. The repair work took approximately 1 hour and I was happy with the result (and so is my gram).

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, FOUND THE PROBLEM AND REPAIRED WHAT WAS NEEDED NO MORE THAN WHAT WAS NEEDED

We purchased a house with an indoor pool. Two months after moving in the dry air system died. Three companies quoted replacing the unit. Allied was the most comprehensive about the pool room design and what the system would have to be to control the Humidity. Kevin was incredibly helpful with any questions or issues that I had both while we were waiting for the equipment, and while they were installing. I have dealt with many HVAC companies, but I would put Kevin Buddinger, and Allied head and shoulders above the rest!

Sounded sincere when he told me I had shut the water off to the humidifier unit. I may have not been as nice.

We replaced a 25 year-old furnace with a high energy efficient unit. We also replaced the ac and humidifier. This included installing new air intake and exhaust vents as the existing ones were not designed for a high efficiency unit. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. I have previously used other hvac contractors to do service work in my house, but none were able to provide the right combination of price and excellent service I received from Allied. From the initial sales rep (Jerry) to the service team/installation team, I experienced a willingness to listen, to respond to our needs, and to to answer any questions we may have. The three-man installation crew worked efficiently and completed the work on time as promised. I look forward to working with them for ongoing maintenance in the future. Jerry stopped by during the project to make sure things were going well. He even assisted in filling out various forms for manufacturer and utility company rebates.

Ever since I moved into my condo, the A/C never worked properly. it would run and be somewhat cool, but it could never keep my place cooler than 80 degrees during a hot day. I had called a few different companies to try and fix it but to no avail. so I finally decided to replace the entire A/C unit and had a few companies come out to give me estimates. Other companies gave me higher estimates and suggested I get new lines put in since they couldn't guarantee the old lines were good enough, extra work and cost that I didn't need. Allied didn't do so, not only did they work with the old lines there, they gave me a very good offer that was well under the price quoted by other companies. it took them about 6 hours to complete the work and they gave me a nice new programmable thermostat. Now during the hot summer I have a nice and cool home. If you do decide to contact Allied, ask for Jerry, he's the best! thanks again Allied!

I was pleased with Allied's service for my furnace check. The technician was prompt, friendly & professional. He took care of my furnace quickly and made a few suggestions for its upkeep. Last year Allied installed my Carrier air conditioner and heating system. They did a great job then! I'll definitely stick with Allied and recommend them!

Of course, on the hottest day of the summer our 25 year old central air conditional lost its long battle for life. This prompted me to do two things (1) start to call friends for recommendations on HVAC contractors and (2) to join Angie's list. I'm glad I joined the list. I went through the various reviews, and selected about six contractors to give me estimates. We decided that our heating system, the same age as our A/C, probably needed to be replaced too, so we chose to offer that as an incentive to give us the best price. Of the six we contacted, we received four estimates. One of the contractors said he didn't need to come by, that we should simply let him know what the best estimate we got was and he would match it. Scratch that one off the list. After four showed up, we decided we had seen enough and did not need the last one so we canceled the appointment. Each of the contractors proposed different solutions. While Allied came in at the top of the scale, they also offered the most complete package. We went back to each of the other contractors to get them to revise their quotes based on the more complete product set, but Allied still came in slightly higher. Honestly, Allied is local to us while others were still within the Chicago-land area, Allied is in our town. We went back to them one more time and they lowered their prices. We chose them. Their service technicians showed up on time and really knew their stuff. In a very short time, they removed the old air conditioner, the heater, humidifier, air cleaner and thermostat. By the end of the day, they had the air conditioning running. Everything was done in one day with the exception of a replacement chimney liner and a final hook-up of the humidifier. This last part was completed in the next week. They finished the job quickly, with great quality. And, they left no mess behind at all. All-in-all, working with Allied was a great experience. While I hope we don't need to do another job like this for a long time, they have earned my repeat business and strong recommendation.

My experience with them overall is an A. I have been using them for the past 14 years and have referred them to many of my friends.

Allied's office called me the next day to schedule the appointment. I was able to choose either a morning or afternoon appointment. Allied's office called me on the day of the appointment to let me know that the technician was on his way and would arrive in approximately 30 minutes. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He did the cleaning,inspection and tune-up and then explained to me the work he had done. He had not found any problems with the air conditioner. I have been a customer of Allied's for years. Their office staff and technicians have always been courteous and accomodating. I will continue to use Allied for both my air conditioning and heating need.

I have used Allied for the last 30 years for AC and Heating needs.They have always responded quickly to our needs.I don't ask for bids from other comapnies as Allied has always given us what I think is a fair price for the quality of work and the products they install.

Several local A/C & heating companies were contacted after we researched manufacturers and their products. Jerry Eaves of Allied was knowledgeable and informative and recommended the Carrier system that would best satisfy our needs and budget. In addition to the literature he gave us, we also asked for and received some additional product literature. He has been very helpful. I didn't get and couldn't read the names of the installation crew [their workmanship is better than their penmanship]- I believe they were John, Jake, and Steve. These gentlemen were very efficient and professional; the stairway to our basement doesn't allow one much room to bring down equipment and components but they were successful, did a great job, and finished much sooner than we would have expected. They also left the area in good shape. As I write this it is approx. 100 degrees outside and we are quite comfortable and expect to stay that way summer and winter.

They are always very timely relative to the appointment time. All the service technicians that came out were very polite, very professional, and very clean. They definitely take their time to explain things that are being done.

They are punctual. He does his work, he does not sit there talking. He is very personable. He is a hard worker.

It is an excellent company. I'm the second owner of this house and they have been the AC people for the last 40 years. They always use booties or drop cloths when they do work.

I can attest for the fact - ALLIED AIR IS NOT HAPPY UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY. The issues were addressed, WITHOUT question. These folks are professional, courteous, and KNOW the business. I am not sure from where the negative reports are stemming - I have experienced nothing but quality from these folks.

I have never experienced anything like this before. If you call a company, you expect them to keep their word and be professional. It just seems like this company does not act this way.

Allied Heating and Air Conditioning does a great job. I have been using them for years. We have an annual contract with them. They are very professional.

They relocated some piping because the old hot water heater was sitting kind of in a back room, and they were able to move it over, so we recaptured some space. They did some nice things for me. They have been good to me over the years. Years ago, I had an issue with my air conditioner, and I called several places. While another provider wanted to sell me a new air conditioner, Allied Air Conditioning & Heating was able to actually fix it for me. They fixed it reasonably. They are very reliable, and they seem to be straightforward and honest. I would use them again in the future.
