Description of Work: Charles replaced/installed a ceiling fan. This went well. He also replaced a light switch. We did not have the correct part for the bathroom fan so he took measurements, etc. He returned a couple weeks later when the fan motor arrived and replaced it. | |All work was done well.

Description of Work: They replaced 4 smoke detectors in my house. They were on time and did a great job.

Description of Work: They replaced 3 old smoke detectors with 3 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. They were on time and clean. I would definitely have them back.

Description of Work: I try to schedule a time for the electrician three times. Gave him specific dates the that would be good for me ( the first communications we had). Didn't work for him...I understand so he ask about the 26 of May. My response to him was I was not available that week. He said he would get back to me about rescheduling which he did 3 days later. He said he would be there on the 26th. I email him back and told him a second time I was not available that week. He emailed me back and said how about the 27th. Really? I am concerned about his ability to do the job.

Description of Work: Mr. Sparky Installed two junction boxes and ceiling fans on second floor. We appreciate that Mr. Sparky was willing to give an estimate, while many other electricians contacted through craigslist simply quoted hourly rates. | |The installation went well but we did have a few minor issues: | |1. While we received an estimate promptly it took a while to actually get the work scheduled. | |2. There was some miscommunication, and thus some incorrect expectations at the start of the process regarding electrical code. The electrician properly followed code, but we misunderstood what that was. | |3. The electrician left with both ceiling fans programmed to the same frequency, but in opposite (on/off) states. Thus turning on one fan, turned off the other, etc. We were able to resolve this after contacting the manufacturer for guidance but it should have been completed correctly the first time. | |All in all we were pleased with the work and plan to use Mr. Sparky again later this summer.

Description of Work: Had utility room lighting repaired. They were very prompt, polite, and professional, and very easy to schedule. They were able to schedule an appointment for the same day I called. The pricing for the services on top of the $60 visit charge seemed high.

Description of Work: New electrical for hot tub.

Description of Work: we had circuit breakers that would pop an d not stay on. He found the problem to be a wire that had been nicked by a nail during siding replacement which caused it to short out. He replaced the burned wire. All is working well. The job was well done. I think they are a somewhat high priced. I would get estimates for future work. |
