Andy Wehrli Carpentry & Handyman Services

anyThis was the first time we used Andy Wehrli and we found him to be VERY thorough with all the work he either did himself or organized others to do. His workmanship is excellent and his timeliness is way better than other contractors we've worked with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking to do anything from a simple plumbing leak to a substantial remodeling.

Andy came to our home and inspected the work that need to be done; he promised an estimate within a couple of days and delivered on his promise. We agreed upon a date for the repairs and the scope of the work; the estimate was a fair price for the amount of work required. Andy confirmed the date and his arrival time several days in advance and was right on time ready to go to work. Andy has the experience and competence to adjust for some unknown problems and the repair was better than the original work. The repairs were completed in one day with the area cleaned up to the point that nobody would even know that he had been there. I would highly recommend Andy and will definitely use him in the future!

Wen't ok, the work was done and I had a painter scheduled the following day to paint the wood that was replaced, when he left I noticed some loose wood and I notified Andy via text, he never called only texted and stated it could be evaluated by the painter the next day. The painter was recommended by Andy to us, so they knew each other. The following day the painter had to nail in the wood in order to secure it and paint it. Andy never followed up with me after this, and I was disappointed as we have been looking for someone to trust and come help us. I had other projects that I was hoping Andy could do, but after the poor follow up, don't think I will be calling him back.

he was fast and efficient in completing the project, however, my husband was very disappointed when he saw all the dirt were in backyard after he cleaned the gutters. we were expecting him to put all the dirt in the plastic bag so we don't have to clean them up that was supposed to be part of the deal. it was disappointing. I didn't notice the dirt left but the next day my husband checked the backyard and he was angry at the mess he made. he had to clean it up before he went to work.

We have a very large bow window that was put in when the house was built in the 60's. Our main concern is to preserve it. The repair was not your usual fix and was a little tricky. We're happy to say that Andy did a fine job blending the new piece in so no one would ever know it was replaced. He actually charged less than his estimate. He was punctual and made the whole experience easy. We would not hesitate to call him again.

Job was done as quoted. Arrived on time and was very professional. We are very pleased with his work and will recommend him and use his services again. He responded quickly and always followed up quickly to any inquiry we had.

We have used Andy before and didn't hesitate to use him for this project. He's punctual, personable, and most important knowledgeable. Total quality work...Bottom line: If you have a project and don't call Andy to look it over, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Andy was very responsive prior to the work needing to be done, but did show up late due to not requesting our address until late the night before the work was scheduled. Overall, I thought his work was average (e.g. some of the bathroom hardware he installed was not secured appropriately and had to be adjusted by me), but he did complete it for a rather reasonable cost. My main complaint was that he left a total mess (bits of wires and parts from the old hardware throughout the bathroom and loose nails in my daughter's room where he hung the shelves). I don't expect a handyman to double as a cleaning service, but thought he could have been much better about picking up after his work. We've had other service providers do similar projects with similar levels of debris that they always picked up. Andy was polite and a nice guy, but we don't plan on using him again.

My wife and I were very happy with the service provided by Andy. We had a damaged piece of custom aluminum door trim that Andy replaced with a fresh piece of siding in order to improve the aesthetics of the situation. Andy was quick, did a great job, and thus far it looks perfect. I might add he solved the problem for $75 when I was being quoted $300-400 elsewhere for a similar job. Only issue is his schedule was so busy that it was almost three weeks before he could come. We took this as a good sign though that he is such a busy handyman. Would definitely use him again.

Andy send a confirmation the evening before the appointment which I greatly appreciated. He arrived on time and immediately looked at the window and quickly repaired. He also did a favor of removing my battery case on my external garage door remote. Accurate work. Price was very reasonable. He offers many services and I would recommend.

Andy is a consummate professional. Responded quickly to my request for a quote, offered creative suggestions to help us save money on repair costs, gave us a terrific referral for work he didn't do, was prompt, did all work thoroughly and well, and on top of that, came in under budget. I WILL use Andy again!

I have an English Tudor style house and several of the cedar boards needed to be replaced. Andy came over and we went over the entire house to determine which and how many boards that I would need. He then went to the store and purchased the supplies. He worked with the painter so that everything could be done as efficiently as possible. I also had a crack in the drywall inside the house and Andy cut out the cracked piece, determined that there was no other damage and repaired the crack. I have used Andy's services several times and have always felt that he is fair in his pricing and as reliable as anyone can be. Andy will not take on any job that he does not feel qualified to do and will recommend others that he knows will be as diligent as he is.

Andy was great to deal with! He responded quickly to our email requesting an initial estimate, he confirmed our appointments by email, he arrived on tiime, and he was very friendly and personable! He did a great job fixing all of the areas we needed handyman help with, and he was especially patient during the tedious process of working on the annoying squeaks in the carpeted floors. I will certainly call Andy back to address future home repair needs that arise. In my opinion, having a reliable professional that can do so many different types of repair, is a most valuable contact to have. Thank you Andy!

I purchased the screen door at the local Home Depot. Andy picked it up for me on the day of the scheduled installation. He showed up early and hung the door very nicely. It looks great and his work was exemplary.

So this wasn't a big job at all but I got the feeling that Andy treated it like any other job. Very professional, great communication, and punctual. I realize some people might not want to spend time on such a small task but Andy was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely use him again.

Andy was great to work with. His price is very reasonable - and his approach uncomplicated and solid. I typically like to work together with the contractor to complete the work to my satisfaction - and to help reduce the cost. Andy was easy to work with and completely understood my approach. The work was completed to my satisfaction - and still looks great!

Andy is fantastic. He's great with big or small tasks. This was the second time I had called him (the first was to hang a gigantic mirror over my mantle and a huge picture in our sitting room and built a set of shelves for our garage) and he was just as prompt, efficient and friendly as the first time. He came at the time he said he would, asked what needed to be done and did it. Super fast and all done well. There was an issue with one of the shower heads leaking that we didn't find out about until a month later and he was more than happy to run out and see what the issue was. We were able to talk by email beforehand, so he was able to tell me what he would need for the job. I had all the materials and he had all the tools and know how! It was so nice to get all the projects I wanted completed (even the piddly ones) just done in an afternoon, rather than trying to complete them myself with three little ones running around and taking 3 days to get it all done. I've already got my next project for Andy all lined up!

Andy was on time, friendly and professional. He changed the locks in a timely manner and explained the process since there was an unexpected adjustment. We are in need of other services and Andy was kind enough to recommend other vendors. My husband I feel that Andy is a honest and trustworthy person Andy is our new handyman.
