No, no, no. Call someone else! I asked him to come out to provide an estimate for multiple projects, including replacement of my front door/storm door and stairs. It took him weeks to come out. He didn't properly look at the work that needed to be done and instead spent the time bragging about how friendly he is. He only briefly glanced at my stairs and I presumed he saw (it would be impossible not to) that they needed to be replaced. We scheduled a time for the work- well over a month away! Ok, I understand if you're busy. I ordered materials and scheduled delivery of same for just prior to his scheduled work. I followed up to request an actual written proposal to include all work as I did not want to rely on haphazard emails back and forth to encompass the scope of work and fees. Several days later, I see that he only quoted to replace the treads despite our prior email communication that he would replace the risers as well. He then provided a separate quote well above what he had previously quoted after having seen what needed to be done-he now claims that that was an estimate based on pics (it was not. He saw the project in person). When I asked him to honor the previous quote he indicated that maybe he is not the right person to do the work. This guy is very unprofessional and a total and complete waste of time.

He is awesome. Having him back out to install storm door and closet doors.

Replaced some rotted wood trim and installed outdoor store railing. Identified extensive rot inside walls and helped us find solutions.

Andy patched four areas of drywall for us that where either a hole or tape was peeling. This type of a repair is more of an art than science and Andy did a great job. Additionally, we had rotted plywood on some baywindows on the exterior of the house that Andy replaced. Andy does very nice work and is very clean and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for handyman services.

Andy completed a variety of jobs in and around our house, such as changing chandelier light bulbs, replacing shingles on the roof, adding insulation to our attic, and replacing cracked boards on a stairwell. He demonstrated honesty and professionalism, while providing quality workmanship. I would recommend him to my friends, and I would hire him again.

All went well. Andy responds quickly to emails and is prompt and professional. He painted trim on garage, patched and painted plaster walls in the house, put quarter round on the kitchen floor, fixed a broken vanity drawer in the bathroom, etc etc. Jack of all trades kind of guy.

Vent openings had to be enlarged and wall studs cut down for new grills to be installed.

Andy did advise us on what was needed. We had to buy wood, arrange for delivery, care for refuge removal and paint replacement wood. Andy quoted a labor price but didn't return an overpayment.

I have used Andy for several other projects in the past and he as always delivered consistently. This time was no different - he came out and gave me an estimate for the work involved - in this case the removal and installation of an exterior door. Andy arrived right on time and got to work right away. He had picked up the door from Menard's and it was the right size and design. The work went smoothly - he cleaned up after the work was done. Andy does very good work and is straightforward and honest - I would definitely use him for other jobs as they occur. In the past I have used his services for window frame repair, garage door repairs and now an exterior door replacement - in each and every case he has done the work professionally and his estimates are reasonable.
