After reading the reviews on Angie's List, we decided to give Andy a call to replace our kitchen faucet. He arrived on time. I was impressed at how quickly he replaced the faucet. It works great and we love it! It's nice to be able to call a handyman just for small projects. We are putting a list together of other projects that we have and will be calling Andy back sometime in the near future.

This is the second time I've used Andy Wehrli. As expected he was very informative, helpful, and highly skilled. We wanted to move the washer/dryer up to the main floor from the basement. The prior home owners had covered over the washer/dryer hookups with bead-board and mounted a large shoe cabinet on the wall. Andy was able to quickly come up with a solution to remove the wall and cabinet, without any damage, reveal the washer/dryer hookups, and put the wall back together USING THE EXISTING wall materials that were removed - and it looked new after he was done. He also helped reconnect the dryer duct. Again, hats off to Andy for another fine job. We will be calling him again for future projects.

I just bought a new home and, in a recent wind-driven rain, found out that the window above my main entrance door was leaking. It's a large window so I knew that it would cost a lot to replace. The window was still in pretty good condition though, so all I really needed to do was repair it. Of course, most handymen, etc. wanted to replace it for $1000+s. But, Andy was a real gem to find because not only is he an excellent handyman, he's also a skilled carpenter (which I was searching for on Angie's list). This made it a no brainer to call him to inspect my wood-framed leaky window. Andy was great. He explained to me the problem and took time to teach me how he would fix it, what to look for, and also gave me other useful preventative maintenance tips as we viewed other areas of my home. He's got a really good nature and explains things very clearly. This is very valuable to me as it allows to me assess the nature of the job and how much I want to do (or not do). In the end, the job was simple. A few strips of painted aluminum (to match my house) sealed the window (with clear caulk). Andy did a masterful job. The window now looks great and is water tight. It cost only a fraction of what it would to replace and has years of life left. Andy said that he will back in the spring to paint the entire window (included in the price) so it will look new (which it practically does already). The price was outstanding too! I am happy to have found a handyman in the area that I can call for these jobs and I will surely have Andy out again. He's got a great mix of skills that makes him a standout handyman, especially if you need anything that involves wood/carpentry - Andy is your man.

Andy did a great job as usual. I have had Andy do a number of jobs for me over the years and he has always done a great job at a fair price. He has installed new windows and sliding glass doors, built an addition onto my backyard shed, and numerous other smaller jobs.. I've always been very pleased..

I had a pieceof siding that came off my house. He came by, fixed the existing piece, and secured it onto my house.

Unfortunately, 2 weeks later, Andy has yet to follow up with an estimate. After about a week, we called Andy and he told us he would call us back. We still have not heard from him.

Andy was great. He cleaned up window sills (we had moss growing from moisture but we hadn't seen it as the windows were so high up) He repaired all the drywall and where the drywall tape had lifted. He used his camera to take pictures so we could see the damage without having to climb the ladder to see it. (What a great idea!) He, very politely, noted that the windows weren't of the highest quality. This didn't surprise us given other issues we have had with builder of our house. Once he got outside to check the windows (22+ feet up); he took more pictures that showed us that the caulking on the seams of the window (factory done) were very poor and sloppy. Since it only leaks with blowing, sideways rains, he suspected the caulk failure was the problem. He recaulked the seams on the windows. He was done and cleaned up in 3 hours flat. That next week we had strong rainstorm with driving rain, we had no leaks. Andy called us the next morning to see if the windows had leaked. What awesome followup!!! Andy recommended that we have the windows checked and recaulked every 2 years. We will definitely be having him back to do the maintenance on the windows! He is permantly in our phonebook for home repairs.

Andy was great to work with. If he wasn't sure what you wanted, or there were several options, he always got your input and made some good suggestions. He suggested a built in bookcase which we are glad we added. He also built a cabinet shelf for a small microwave that fit in beautifully with the cabinets we bought. He always came when he said he would or called beforehand to let us know of any changes in his schedule, and worked hard the whole time he was here. We have had him back for several other small projects since the basement was completed.

Andy has always done excellent work at reasonable prices and completed the jobs in a timely manner.

Andy is on time, courteous and thorough in his work. We will definitely use him again. We appreciate having someone dependable to call to help out with our home maintenance.
