Workers arrived at 7:00 AM and had completed the job by 12:30 PM on the same day. They were like an army of ants, everyone doing a specific job. Very friendly and task oriented. The grounds around our house were as clean as there were before the project started. We have no grass, only plantings and gardens around the house, they were well protected.

They did really good work. They were prompt and they stayed on time. They did the job in one day. They were very professional. The price was higher than other companies.

The estimate was made in late November. The job wasn't performed until the weather broke March first. It was a snowy winter. We didn't have leakage so the timing wasn't a negative for us. John and a 15 man crew arrived at 7 AM as scheduled. They left space at the curb close to the house for our cars and brought up our newspaper. The dumpster arrived about 8 AM. The guys spent the time clearing some final snow off the roof and shielding my plantings. The layers of roof were off by noon and the shingles on by 3 PM. The crew cleaned up everything! before they left for the day...nails, bits of shingles, old vents. Someone even tossed out a board that the garbage men hadn't picked up. I was not one bit worried that my dog would pick up something in a paw. Everyone was extremely polite and concerned for our well being. Day 2, again the crew showed at 7 AM. Everyone got to work immediately putting up the soffits and fascias and guttering system. Again the work was complete, everything cleaned up by 3 PM. John and my husband did a job inspection. Everything is beautiful. The soffits, fascia's and gutterning have made such a big difference in the appearance of our house. John offered choices along the way: copper or aluminum flashing, edge crimp to the soffits? He also honestly offered his opinion of the quality of each option. Often it was looks vs. durability. We are definitely durability people and appreciated the choices. To top it all off, John couldn't be a nicer guy. I like quality work, but quality work by a nice guy is a super bonus.

The job went excellent. John Komperda was very professional and easy to talk with. His workers were very prompt and diligent in their work. One of our neighbors had a complaint because the company was on their property however, this was because John was protecting their property from any possible damage. He spoke with the neighbor and all turned out well. I would recommend John Komperda whole heartedly. He promptly returned all of my phone calls, started when he said he would and completed the job in a very timely manner. I had five different roofing companies bid on the job and although John Komperda was not the lowest price, he wasn't the highest either. I received several recommendations from some friends re: John Komperda and I am so happy that we chose his company to do the job.

He is a super good guy. The cedar shake that he has installed here I have never seen a fix like that. He did it probably because he had installed a roof for us at another house. You couldn’t find a nail or a piece of tar paper there. He covered up everything in the attic where the dust could come down if the roof was removed. He has talented people working for him. We wanted a roof vent fan to be installed with a switch so I could switch it on or off and he did it. I had a panel of the garage door that was rotten and he replaced it. It was a decent sized door and he did it for $50. I wanted a motion detector laid outside my front door and he did it. I got the light and he installed it. He is not a typical jerky roofer. The roofers work when they feel like and they don’t when they don’t feel like. Same guys worked for us here who had worked for us 15 years ago. He helped one of our neighbors who had a cracked main beam on centre of the shelf. He had 17 guys there the next day that removed the roof, installed the new beam, had a crane there, took the old one off and installed a new one on. Those people went out of the house for one night and that place was as clean as a whistle when they were done. They replaced the architectural roof just like it was. He did a new roof for us. I tell anybody I refer him to if you have little jobs to be done like installing an outlet or any handyman job then he will include it and you can get all of it done at the same time. He wouldn’t come out again and do it later. Our cedar shake roof on this house was like tooth picks and so it had be pulled off and redone. He put something called a breather underneath which was a difference between a 25 year old and a 50 year old roof. It allows the shake to dry off and won’t wrap the wood underneath. It was worth every penny. Our shake is thicker than our neighbor’s. He was here for 3 days working on the roof on this house. This is a 70 ft long and 30 ft wide and other addition on it. It’s a good sized house. He came back to do the 3 car detach garage but they were going to do it in February. I probably have given him 20 referrals which included 80 year old widows who were living in the house. He is honest good man. He is the greatest guy. He has done a lot of work in this area. He had done 47 roofs 5 years ago between a square mile area. He is very well known. He has built garage additions. They installed two ladders once up ladder and then the down ladder and it was like full hands were gone. He is a wonderful person.

I decided it was time to put a new roof on my house. They brought out a crew of sixteen guys. They were so efficient and quick it's unbelievable. They had the whole roof installed in one day. When clean up time came, they were just great. It has been three weeks since the installation and I recently found 3 nails on my grass. They were so good at picking up after themselves. They even used a magnet machine to attract the nails. They were great.

HE IS VERY RESPONSIBLE. OTHERS THAT HAVE HAD WORK DONE BY HIM HAVE HAD NO COMPLAINTS EITHER. HE IS NOT CHEAP, BUT HAS EXCELLENT QUALITY. I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN HIS WORK.
