THE TREE GUY

We had not moved into our new home yet and worked with Keith from Washington, DC. He did exactly as he said he would and was very nice and professional. We would definitely use him again.

Gave me a competitive estimate the same day and completed the work the following day. A great experience.

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! Mike came out, checked on everything we wanted done and gave us a quick and more than fair estimate. He explained the process thoroughly and answered all of our questions without hesitation. He was easy to reach and promptly returned phone calls. He and his crew came exactly when they said they would come and they were very professional. I would highly recommend this company and in fact have already done so with confidence. We have had other tree companies out to do work and they nickel and dimmed us until the bill was astronomical. That was NOT the case with The Tree Guy. Wish we had discovered him sooner!

I called Keith about five weeks ago. He came out the same afternoon to do an estimate which was way below what I expected. My neighbors had received estimates for shrub removal only that were several hundred more than Keith gave me for the entire job. After waiting for several weeks I gave him the go ahead on the job. Though he was already booked for a week he promised to get the job done ASAP. He kept me posted on his progress and came out this a.m. After an hour or so Keith called me to look over the job-it was the best trim job I had seen. Everything looked great and all the waste was nicely removed. Several of the larger shrubs will need their roots ground down and I was assured it would be done as soon as they had a few more to do. Because of the extra equipment needed, he waits til ten need to be done and then does them all in a day. I was extremely happy with the job and Keith. He was very professional and friendly and really seemed to want to do the job well.

I thought it went very well. The contractor did tell me that he was going to create and drop a quote off on one day, and that didn't happen until the next day. Then, he told me the tree would be removed on another day, and the actual removal happened the day afterward. But none of that really mattered to me; the tree and its stump was removed with no damage to the yard at all.

This company gave us the best quoted price. They were extremely professional and cleaned up everything. They had an amazing follow up and gave me recommendations for my other trees. They should win an award! AMAZING!

I wish every company, was as easy to work with as The Tree Guy! The whole process was easy and was finished in under a week, from my first phone call, to the payment. Keith responded to my call straight away and was able to come out for an estimate on a Saturday morning, which I really appreciated. He was the only contact to return my call and his price was reasonable, so we went with him on the spot. He was able to do the job, early the next week. Very organized, efficient and professional.

Based upon reading the Angie's list reviews regarding the tree guy, I expected the job to cost $250. I called on a Saturday (though I don't believe that is their regular working hours) and left a message for an estimate. Within 15 minutes I received a call back and Keith was in the area to quote me a price. He quickly surveyed the tree and was able to determine that it was healthy and with some thinning he could clear out the branches that were hanging over power lines as well as promote continued health. His quote came in at exactly the price I expected. Within a few days the job was done. The Tree Guy did a good job and I expect to use them in the future.

Didn't always get an immediate response to a phone message or email, but the price was fantastic and the work was very good. I did always hear back from Keith within a day or two. Would definitely use again.

We used Keith last summer to remove a dying plum tree and we liked his work so much we decided to use his company again to remove a self sowing maple in the back of our property and trim the branches of a large mulberry tree owned by a neighbor on our side of the property. We explained to Keith we had neighbor problems with the owner of the mulberry tree and he trimmed the tree carefully and beautifully without entering the neighbors yard. Now we can walk on that side of the yard without fear of the mulberry's branch falling on our head! The work is excellent. Thanks!

Keith showed up on time to give a quote. After a few days, realizing his quote was much less expensive, I called him to hire his company to do the work. I didn't hear back from him for several days, so I called again. He finally returned my call and apologized for the delay. Two days later, he had completed the work and you could not tell he and his crew (or the tree that was removed) was ever there. I highly recommend this company.

I wasn't 100% satisfied with the job that was originally done. I thought that they could have cleaned up a little better and that one of the branches should have been trimmed back a little more. When I contacted them and voiced these concerns, they came back and took care of both things (at no extra charge).

The job got done. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry.

The team (Keith plus three other workers) arrived as scheduled on a Saturday morning with a cherry picker and chipper. The pine trees that were to be removed had grown very close to my house and the house next door. The workers were diligent in making sure no damage was done to either house. They used the cherry picker to maneuver around the trees, first taking the branches out and then cutting the trunks down in 4 to 6 foot sections. All waste was neatly raked away and run through the chipper as promised. Keith had explained in advance that they come back later to drill out the stumps, as they prefer to only bring the stump borer out when they have a total of 10+ trunks to do. As promised, the stumps were bored out within the week, leaving only well-mulched soil where the trees once stood. Keith also did a great job reshaping and pruning dead branches out of an old magnolia tree in our back yard. I will use The Tree Guy for all of my tree work in the future.

Keith called back promptly and schedule a time to come out and look. He arrived a few minutes late but had called to let me know he was running late. He provided a quote right away, and once I gave him the go ahead was out and removed the trees in 4 days. He came back later to grind out the stumps, slightly delayed due to rain. He was unable to get all of the Lilac stump out because it was too close to the fence but he called me to let me know the problem and definitely made the right choice. It never even looked like they were there. I was very happy with their work.

Keith gave me a great price to remove a large tree, smaller trees, and a lot of shrubbery. He came when he said he would, and they cleaned up impeccably. He was very knowledgeable about trees. The job took a little longer than expected, but the price and service made up for it.

They were very unprofessional. A company should always call back a potential customer within a reasonable amount of time. I would never hire a company that doesn't return a call.

Keith, the owner and estimator, was prompt and listened to what I wanted from him. He showed up and did exactly what he said he would do. I would definitely use them again. Last, their price was 1/2 the next closest estimate and 1/3 of my highest quote.

Fantastic response time and good work. We'd gladly use The Tree Guy again, and in fact, we're planning on using him for some trimming and a stump we need to have pulled.

Keith and his crew were fantastic, friendly, and courteous. Called for estimate and they came next day, on a Friday. Quoted us $525 to have a huge Evergreen Tree in our front yard removed and a large Oak Tree trimmed. The price was $300 cheaper than other companies that gave us estimates. On Monday morning as promised they arrived at 9:00 AM They did an outstanding job! The large Evergreen that was very close to the house was removed without a hitch. All debris was removed (it was so clean when they left) and they even swept the walkway. We'll be customers for life!

These guys were outstanding. They were polite and helpful in explaining what should be done. Only bad weather delayed them from doing the job the day after I accepted the quote. They did the work as discussed and cleaned up completely once they were done. I couldn't ask for better service, and the price was $200 less than my other quote.

Job 1: The job took two days, and Keith and his crew showed up on back-to-back days, and cleaned up fully. The work was tricky and tight, and the job was completed with absolutely no damage to our property, which was amazing considering the circumstances. My only annoyance was a bit of phone tag--the m.o. seems to be 1) call, leave a message, then 2) wait for a call back from a caller id blocked number. Service was provided on the day promised. I will definitely use Keith again. Job 2: Second experience was just as fantastic as the first. Showed up on the day promised and completed the work. They cleaned up so well that if it weren't for the stump, I wouldn't have known anyone was here.
