He was punctual, prompt, and I liked that he was in our neighborhood.

We discovered our oven was not heating on the 'bake' function. I searched on-line to troubleshoot and found some info that indicated that it might very well be the igniter that failed since the broiler and range still worked fine. Called Bill's Appliance the next morning trying to get a same day appointment. I left a message and Bill called back within 30 mins. We set up a time for the next day. Bill arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was indeed the igniter. He replaced the igniter and was on his way within 30 mins.

Great. Bill gave me a window of time, and called me two times to let me know of a delay, which I greatly appreciated. He also let me know that my dryer thermostat was not working correctly, and that I could call him if I decided to replace it.

Bill was booked for several days and scheduled me out 3 days. He was generally nice, efficient and fast. He gave an estimate, $45 for the service call, $40 for labor, and $48 for the igniter. ( plus little more for gasket parts, etc). I would hire him again.

Bill did a great job installing the microwave. (I helped, but only in a physical capacity, helping remove the old microwave and supporting the new one as Bill attached it.) He also quickly diagnosed the washer problem and fixed it. It was fun to watch him work -- a very scientific approach to the job. He needs his own cable show! It's the second time we have used Bill, and I'm sure he will be our appliance guy forever.

Very well. Quick, responsive. This is my second call, the first was for a dryer that stopped drying. Happy with both repairs.

Refrigerator/freezer not cooling/freezing. Fans/lights worked but no cooling. Called Bill on a Sunday morning. He returned our call within the hour and arranged to come out the next morning. He arrived on time, troubleshot the unit, repaired and was out the door in less than an hour. Very service oriented. I will be calling him anytime I have an appliance issue.

Bill was very professional and friendly, a pleasure to work with. Before he arrived (as scheduled, very punctual), he called half an hour earlier to confirm. He was thorough, prepared (with replacement parts), experienced, very reasonably priced, willing to explain and answer questions. He was quick and efficient without rushing.

Bill came out, right on time, and checked over my furnace, which had never been checked in the 7 years since I moved in. He said it was running well and did not need any work. He also checked out my Washer/Dryer, and said the same for those. He would've checked my A/C but it wasn't warm enough outside. Bill was honest and thorough.

I left a message for Bill on a Friday afternoon. He called back that afternoon and apologized that he was completely booked for the next day! He arrived at the scheduled time the following Tuesday, fixed the dryer and gave me an estimate for fixing the washer (no charge for the estimate). He returned on Thursday and repaired the washer. He told me he prefers to deal with Angie's List customers because they tend to be more knowledgeable and reliable.

Bill responded to my call promptly. He quoted me a price and we set up an appointment for the repair. He arrived on time and made the repair.

Did a good job. Called back on time. Showed up on time. Courteous, did a good clean up and will use him again.

Came out one day to inspect dryer and determine cause of problem. Ordered motor and came out again the following week to replace.

We had used Bill's Appliance before and they do a fine job. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to sell you on a new unit unless it is really necessary. I did call them recently but haven't received a call back. I plan on calling them again.

Bill Bango himself came to do the repair. He was 2 hours late, but he did give me a courtesy call to let me know that he was 2 hours behind, and I understood that the delay really wasn't his fault. When he arrived, he was very polite, professional, and considerate (wiped his shoes on the outside mat before entering). He described the possible reasons for the problem with the A/C unit, and went on to explain how he was going to solve the problem. When he completed the job, we turned on the A/C, and he waited to make sure everything was running smoothly. While waiting he even gave me a free mesh filter for the drain hose on my washing machine when I happened to mention needing one. How cool is that!

Bill responded to our call very quickly, provided an accurate estimate, ordered the part and repaired our refrigerator within 48 hrs. He was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to our calls. He even told us to call GE first to see if the refrigerator was under warranty before he made any repairs. Unfortunately, it wasn't under warranty any longer, but I appreciated Bill giving us this information before proceeding with the repair--his honesty was much appreciated. We have an odor in our freezer, but he suggested a company we might call to obtain a product to fix the odor.

Bill was exceptionally professional, promptly returned my phone call, scheduled visit quickly, kept me apprised of his arrival time, very pleasant and quickly diagnosed problem. Immediately took charge of situation and resolved cooling issue within 30 minutes. His fee was very reasonable. I will definitely call him again for his help!

He was very nice, and told me exactly what the problem was and what needed to be replaced.

Bill does a great job on everything. I have had him repair just about every appliance in my home at one time or another. He always tells you what the problem is and if it is worth fixing. I appreciate his honesty.

I no longer have a problem with my door closing. He happened to be out of town when I called. I left a message, and he called back. He was a very nice guy to work with and has actually done some work for us in the other house too.

This guy was so good that he actually squeezed me in on a Saturday. He said you have a little baby, you can t be without a dryer. He was very reasonable. He s actually been out to help me with the dryer on 3 separate occasions. He s polite, courteous, and does great quality work. He offers a work guarantee on some items.

Bill scheduled an appointment, advising me of the $40 service fee, with a two hour time window. Near the end of that time frame he called to let me know he was running late and arrived very shortly thereafter. He was very pleasant, very professional and I felt, very honest. After removing the top of the dryer, he advised me that the noise was simply a result of wear and tear. He stated that parts could be ordered and repairs made within a matter of days for roughly $140 to $160. He did, however, note that as long as the unit was drying clothes the problem was simply a nuisance and not inherently dangerous. He felt it could continue to operate for a year or more with no repair. I have elected to postpone repairs and make a decision about possibly purchasing both a new washer and dryer at a later date. I was happy to pay the $40 service charge for his candor about the brand of machine and honesty about the need for repairs.

Called Bill, left message. He called back within 1/2 hour and was able to come out the next day. Called when he said he would and showed up on-time. Only took about 1/2 hour maybe. Charged $40 trip charge and $40 for labor
