Description of Work: I called Bald Eagle Construction and left a message and received a call withing 5 minutes!!! Kevin Wood, the owner,was wonderful. I needed help with an addition's metal roof meeting the home's shingle roof having a leak. He said they don't deal with metal roofs, but he gave me one lead and then called me back with more suggestions. Way above and beyond the call of duty. I will surely call them when I need a new shingle roof.

Description of Work: Kevin nor his company did not do any work for me but he blew me away anyway! I need my roof repaired after a tree branch tore a hole through it after one of the Chicago area storms. Just like all the other roofing companies, Kevin and Bald Eagle were busy as a result of the storms from the last week or so. But Kevin called me back in less than 5 minutes and explained that he and his guys are all tied up. At the same time, he recommended a guy that can do the work! All I can say is WOW! Kevin will be the first guy I call the next time I need work on my roof.

Description of Work: The company returned my call within 2 hrs. They were to busy to meety timeline so they provided a couple of options. The references were professional and responsive. the problem was resolved with the referrals.

Description of Work: Kevin did great work on my driveway. He is prompt & courteous. I would definately work with him again.

Description of Work: Called to set up appt for estimate. Company does NOT build decks around swimming pools due to high insurance costs. It would be nice if it would state that in their ad so it doesn't waste people's time.

Description of Work: Bald Eagle did not do the deck work, specifying that they won't do that work in our village due to village codes / processes. However, they were up front about that and responsive in returning my call, and they also recommended someone else for other work we were looking to do.

Description of Work: They put in a patio in the backyard.

Description of Work: We contracted with them to install a new 250 square foot concrete patio in our backyard. When called, Kevin came out within 24 hours and took measurements. This was the last time we actually saw Kevin. No problem there, as he was in constant phone contact during the project. Within 24 hours, the estimate was in our hands via US Mail. Comparing it to the other 2 estimates we received, the price was right on. Subtracting the Angie s List discount sealed the deal. 1/3 of the total bill payment check was mailed to Bald Eagle, because the patio was new and not a replacement, we had to obtain the permit from the village. This was no problem as we have obtained permits from them in the past. The village called me and said that the permit could not be released until Bald Eagle obtained a license and bond with the village. Apparently, they have not done work in La Grange Park before. Kevin informed me that obtaining the license would be no problem, but the bond might take a little time. After 8 days, Kevin called and said that the bond had been gotten and that work would begin. His concrete guys arrived at 8:00AM to start removing the lawn where the patio was to go. They worked quickly and cleanly cutting out the grass by hand. The debris was "wheelbarrowed" out to the street where the Bobcat deposited it into a dump truck. The Bobcat never came down the driveway. Within 2 hours, the area was leveled and tamped and the forms were in place. We called the village for the pre-pour inspection. The inspector came out the next day and was impressed with the job done so far. The concrete guys came back the next day and poured the concrete. All the concrete was "wheelbarrowed" from the street. It took longer to do, but the concrete truck didn t come down the driveway. Nice touch. The guys smoothed and finished the concrete in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves very nicely. Even though the contract called for another 1/3 payment on delivery of the concrete, I wasn t asked for it. After all the concrete guys left, I called Kevin and he said to just mail in the balance due.

Description of Work: They removed an existing sidewalk running the length of the property and replaced it with new concrete. They also replaced steps going down to the basement entrance.

Description of Work: AFTER A BIG RAIN STORM WE FOUND 3 WINDOWS LEAKING AND CALLED BALD EAGLE FOR AN ESTIMATE. KEVIN SAID IT WAS NOT REALLY HIS SPECIALTY AND REFERRED US TO A LEAK EXPERT WHO CAME OUT THE SAME DAY TO HELP US. WE REALLY APPRECIATED KEVIN'S ASSISTANCE AND WOULD DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN FOR ANOTHER JOB.

Description of Work: I REQUESTED ESTIMATES FOR SOME ROOF WORK, REMOVAL OF DAMAGED PLASTER, REPLASTERING AND PAINTING IN 3 ROOMS. THIS COMPANY CALLED ME BACK RIGHT AFTER I LEFT A MESSAGE. THE OWNER EXPLAINED THAT THEY REALLY DON'T DO THE PLASTER PART, BUT WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO THE ROOF PART. I THANKED THEM AND SAID I REALLY WANTED TO DEAL WITH ONE COMPANY FOR BOTH PARTS OF THE JOB. THEY CALLED BACK TWO MORE TIMES TO ASK IF THEY COULD HELP ME IN ANYWAY.

Description of Work: NEW ROOF NEEDED FOR MY GARAGE. THEY ALSO FIXED THE GUTTER AND ADDED TWO NEW VENTS. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY.

Description of Work: HAD THEM QUOTE ON ROOF. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL & RESPONSIVE. THEY WERE >30% ABOVE THE $$ FROM THE COMPANY WE HIRED (WHICH WAS A FRIEND-OF-THE FAMILY). I WOULDN''T HESITATE TO HIRE THEM BASED ON INTERACTIONS I HAD. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
