Description of Work: I called, had to leave a voice-mail message. I explained that we needed our flat roof looked at and that we suspected a number of things might need to be done to fix the leak up near or on the roof at the back of the house, including tuck pointing and a new gutter as well as repair of the leak. I said we would understand if it would not be possible for everything to be completed before winter but perhaps we could start. I got no call back. I would have appreciated a call back even if only to say that they would not be able to do the work.

Description of Work: Remove and replace concrete driveway and back patio. Brickwork on chimney and around front door.

Description of Work: Contractor alleged that the gangway sidewalk replacement project was impossible to do, we should figure out for ourselves how the drainage should be "engineered" and "designed." He was rude, dismissive, and clearly did not want the job, and declined to even suggest a price for doing the work. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: The owner Kevin responded promptly. Unfortunately he did service porch repair in my area. He did refer me to another contractor in my area. I was immensely grateful because I was having a hard time locating a provider to resurface my cement porch. The other provider also responded promptly. I haven,t had the work done but I trust that it will turn out right. If I have any. Other work that Kevin can do I will be sure to contact him.

Description of Work: it took two calls, (left messages) to get a call back. The person calling back told me that they only send out "6 man crews",and that my 2 concrete back steps were too small a job for him!!! REALLY???? why did his ad in your Sept. issue state they do "porches, stairs, etc"? This is not the first contactor (of any kind) that has given me a bologna line! So now it looks like I won't get my collapsing back steps fixedd before winter!! Thanks for nothing!

Description of Work: Had bald Eagle come out for a quote on our deck. Overall the owner was knowledgeable, however very expensive. Quoted 20,000 for 3 flat deck New. Other quotes came in around 14,000 from Framer

Description of Work: I had a complete tear off of my roof. I have a large 2 flat building. My cost would have been a couple hundred dollars cheaper, but while the gentlemen were working, parts of the chimney began to dismantle. the foreman immediately informed me of this by showing me a photo of the chimney and explaining to me the cause of what was occurring and exactly what they would do to repair it. My entire experience with Bald Eagle Construction was a wonderful one! Kevin is such a pleasant person to do business with! He is very patient and friendly. He's not pushy at all. Their performance is totally professional and dedicating! I will definitely use them again! I highly recommend this company to everyone! Description of Work: Kevin Wood of Bald Eagle Construction personally returned my phone call within minutes of my leaving a voicemail for roof work needed. Not sure if he came out the same or the following day to provide the estimate of work to be done. There was rain in the forecast so he had his crew place a protective tarp over the roof until the rain ended and they could begin the job. I was overseeing this roof work for out-of-town and had gotten several estimates. Bald Eagle's estimate was lower than most and included work that no one else had pointed out to me or included in their (higher) estimates. Kevin's crew did masonry work on the chimneys on both the garage and the house, tuckpointing and flashing into the mortar. Kevin kept me in the loop with progress reports until the job was complete. I highly recommend Kevin Wood and Bald Eagle Construction for both roof and masonry projects. The price quoted above is after the senior discount Bald Eagle offered at the time the work was done. Description of Work: I had a new flat roof put on my very large garage. They removed a chimney which was no longer being used, they sealed and tuck pointed the empty area it to prevent any leakage. They did a wonderful job clean and removing the interior insulation, which had deteriorated. The workers were very fast and clean up when the job was completed. The only issue I have was, that I wish they had re-sealed the plastic covering the windows, but it really wasn't part of the job and they may not have had the material. I've used Bald Eagle twice now, on my home roof 4 years ago and now on the garage. I have recommended them to close friends. Kevin Wood was very considerate, returns calls within minutes and worked around my very busy holiday schedule. They're probable not the cheapest but I think they are the best and I got $150.00 off for being an Angie's list customer.

Description of Work: new driveway very detailed estimate explained just what would done so you knew what you would be getting . other estimates were more vague . very fair price for the job that was done.
