Kevin Wood and his team have the process down to a science! Everything turned out exactly as we hoped and the whole project went very well. Initially Kevin came to our home and provided an estimate as well as a timeline and answered questions regarding the project and the process overall. The workers were respectful of our property and they cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. I am very pleased with my new walkway.

There was a rush to get this completed before cold weather set in. Fortunately, the company responded to this and completed the work on time. The quality of the spot tuckpointing was good, with some areas showing some sloppiness due to haste, with the workers continuing their work even into the first hour of near darkness. The chimney tuckpointing and repair was very good. The price was better than reasonable. I have used Kevin and his company for other work (a new roof), and was pleased with the work then, too.

Bald Eagle was our fourth and final estimate, and we were growing weary. Kevin from Bald Eagle arrived and was by far the most professional and courteous, explained everything fully, was clear about options and pricing, and provided dozens of references. Not only did they seem the most competent and professional, their price was by far the most competitive. When we were ready to make a decision it was already getting colder, but Bald Eagle found a window of weather and completed a full strip, and patched and roofed our house in a little over a day. They provided photographs and explanations of the patching, checked their work and cleanup, and made sure we were happy. Above all, they were low pressure and easy to work with. A year later, and after two major wind storms, the roof is working perfectly. I'd absolutely recommend them. The do a fantastic job at a more than fair price.

We wanted to remodel our detached garage and replace the concrete floor, which was built in 1925. We ran into a huge issue with the old concrete floor and Kevin suggested I call another company to help out, as the garage was not on a foundation but just dirt! The company he recommended, fixed the issue by breaking out the floor in sections and then re-poured a new floor. Bald Eagle was then able to complete the remodel and we couldn't be happier. Kevin was great to work with and stayed patient with my multiple changes which required new quotes. Price was reasonable and not as high as some of the other siding companies I called. I chose them being they are a smaller local company, their reviews and prefer to support local family owned businesses. I tend to over research sometimes, but I was glad I did! I don't know if another company would have given up when they found the issues with the foundation and then we would have needed to build a new garage, which would have been 3 times the cost. Communication was great and we couldn’t be more satisfied.

I received estimates for both and the work proceeded. Within the week the job was done.

Very well. Work done by Carreno Concrete looks good and got through the winter without incident. It is very white, though.

After agreeing on a date and time with Kevin to come out and get a quote, he showed up on the wrong day and expected my wife to be able to explain the concrete job I wanted completed. Suffice it to say the specs Kevin had were not what I wanted. I took the time to provide an architectural drawing of what I wanted and sent it via Angies List portal. Kevin stated that he did not get the architectural drawing and that Angie's List system is faulty and prone to not sending the attachments to emails. After I explained everything to Kevin, he stated that he would not be in the Northwest suburbs to re-quote me for atleast 2 weeks. While it is one thing to make an honest mistake, it clearly speaks to the integrity of Kevin, no looking to make good. Unfortunately, he is just another contractor in a long line of those that a) Don't listen and b) Don't care about anyone but themselves and as a result provide c) very poor customer service. Not sure how his company is rated so highly on Angies list, but I assume that is because he pays Angies list to have that rating. I'd stay away for this company!

I had a wonderful experience with Bald Eagle Construction and I would definitely recommend them to others. Everyone was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The job was completed quicker than expected and the work is top quality.

Not only was the service as noted above, but the quality and attention to details that contractors know and homeowners don't was beyond what I'd seen in a residential contractor.

All of the pre-work, planning and communication was great. Kevin was very responsive and his team did a great job to take care of our property around the sidewalk and to take care of our neighbors property. After nearly two years of the work, all of the concrete pours have held up very well. We would certainly use Bald Eagle Construction again.

I got three bids for this job. First Eagle was the most professional in their approach and price competitive. The job was completed with no damage to surrounding landscaping and irrigation system.
